  • Need a shoulder workout that will fill those delts out and make you look wider?.. Then let's get after it!
    Sets & Reps:
    -Cable Rear Delt Fly [partials] (Leaning Forward or Lying on Bench): 4 Sets / 20 Reps
    -Side Laterals (Machine Style): 4 Sets / 20 Reps
    -Reverse Grip EZ Bar Press/Raise Hybrid: 4 Sets / Reps (20,15,15,30)
    I wanted to make this training video to show how I think about working out each head of the deltoid. I always hit them with a different exercise but one thing remains the same, I always find which variation I connect with most on that day and do that one! If you do the same then you'll never have a problem getting them to grow.
    Let me know what video you want next and get after it!

    I'm 62 years old and have trained since I was a teenager, and even did a little competing. I still workout but joint pain and boredom are now factors. Since I discovered your videos, I've been inspired to try new things. You're never too old to learn new tricks, and have an open mind.
    Thanks.

    Ryan, I absolutely love your videos. You have a great sense of humour and give excellent info, your exercise variations are incredible, and I've never fallen asleep watching any of your vids because they are short and to the point.
    I like to write down the exercises that I do so I can remember them all, which is hard to do for your variations. I have no idea what to call a lot of your funky exercises so I wish you would give them a name. If you start naming them could you add it to the video description so people can search for it?

    Ryan, I just came across your channel last week & since then, I've watched many of your videos.
    I've seen many videos of many that have posted work out regimes that have indeed been beneficial.
    However, your way of explaining & displaying in just a very short but sweet video has been a huge advantage for me.
    I must say that in all my years of working out (not a body builder by any means lol), I am indeed still learning new things in order to make my workouts easier & yet still grow in muscle & definition. In just the week of coming across your channel & implementing what I've learned from you, I already feel & see the difference.
    Thank you much for posting this vids & sharing the knowledge that you've learned along the way.
    God Bless you brother.

    • @davemorrison1150
      @davemorrison1150 4 года назад

      @island mike no it's not...I've gotten my best gains by working each part every 9 days...sometimes longer....stop going by these so called studies and the crap you read online...there's a reason why pretty much every pro bodybuilder trains each body part 1x per week...depends on how you train...if you train with full high intensity, to failure, then you need extra recovery....not only did training each body part 2x per week not work, i actually lost size...people were asking me, if i stopped lifting....your body grows at home, not in the gym....so twice a week isn't normal...it might be all the rage now, but bodybuilders for decades only did 1x per week...some took longer.

    • @davemorrison1150
      @davemorrison1150 4 года назад

      @B 2 that's total bullshit...go look up dorian yates or pretty much any pro bodybuilder...sure, they took steroids, but steroids only make your recover better, so when did they still choose to lift the way they did? cause you need recover to grow.....if you train intensely, you need alot more time to recover.

    • @goldenera4ever
      @goldenera4ever 4 года назад +2

      @@carlosmorris4510 personally I call it a reverse press in my log book. For variation I'll do an overhand press but, my elbows are pointed straight ahead to keep the tension on the front delt. I never do a standard shoulder press, where your elbows are pointed to the side, anymore. They really hurt my shoulders in my older age (48).
