- Your shoulder workouts been lacking? Throw in these giant sets and get them growing!
I wanted to share some of the style of workouts I've been doing recently and wow have they worked. I've been taking typical giant sets and drilling down to each individual muscle. I can definitely say that I haven't been this sore in months and the pump is painful!

Did this workout, I’m 50 now and I’ve tried lots of stuff but this shoulder workout had me blowing out of my arse, my side delts are in pieces .The last 3 front delt had me screaming. Wish I’d trained like this when I was younger . Great stuff love watching your vids 😍

Did the rear delt supinated rotation today, and it absolutely hammered the muscles. I've struggled to get a good connection with my rear delts, and suddenly I felt everything. I definitely recommend it. 👌🏻
Thanks for the great routine! I had arrogantly started to feel good about myself but this workout knocked me back down to where I belong.

I’ve probably watched thousands of workout videos and I’ve never once made a comment but I had to say that this was the best shoulder workout I’ve ever done and I shared it with everyone I know
So, just did this workout. On the steering wheel move for front delts, Ryan was doing 45 pound plate, I started off with 25, then 10 then 5, but damn it I wasn’t going to 2-1/2 pound plate. Thanks Ryan you’re changing my whole outlook on how to workout. Ex power lifter, college football player that really just used power to move weight not the specific muscle needed.
Coming out of high school football training programs, I didn’t really know what to do when I was working out by myself. I’ve learned a lot really quickly. Thanks for posting this workout! It’s the first time I’ve really connected with my rear delts!!! You tha man

Sick workouts. I’ve been watching RUclips and Instagram workout techniques for years but still find new exercises or variations from you all the time.
Dude your videos are hands down the best. When I use your tips and exercises, I find that I connect with my muscles everytime, unlike those other RUclips fancy boyz. You bring the pain each and every time.
Also, those other gym pricks aren't doing videos on you, your channel, natty or not, or whatever, so that's a plus!

This is one of the best shoulder routines out there. Well done.
I took my dad to lift with me one time and he wanted to do shoulders. At the end of a basic workout I asked if he was done or wanted dessert. Not sure if was more freaked out by the volume of the giant set of bus drivers, front raise, and press with a plate after already killing shoulders, or the fact that I referred to it as dessert. I now know what it's like for someone to look at me like I should be in a straight jacket.
Just tried this. Got as much as I could before my arms locked up and fell off. Thanks for a new form of self punishment. Could see a huge difference in workout!

I had to come back to this video and say, supinated grips on rear delt flys instantly changed that exercise for me. I immediately felt a connection I don't think I ever felt in my rear delts. Amazing.
I'm new to all this. I've heard the term "connection" thrown around on this channel quite a bit and am not sure what it refers to. I would appreciate if you could tell me what you guys are referring to.
@@acidwizard6528 In lame man’s terms it’s how well you can feel your muscle. When you contact it while doing a curl, how well can you keep it contracting through the movement.

@@maxvanderstricht1159 I’ve made my own home gym. I tapped out on commercial gym membership in March. I worked out that with membership fees saved, the investment will pay for itself within 2 years.

Lateral raises variations, wide upright rows
2)
standing rear delt flies, bench flies, weird flies, bar behind the back flies
3)
cables, rotation, front raises, high front raises

the plate movement is one of my favorite to finish my shoulder day with.
My left shoulder is still impinged so can't hit shoulders, but still an amazing video. Saved for when I'm healed 👍

i’ve been dealing with impingement for the past year and my best advice is stretch before your workout. I still hit shoulders really hard but I took out upright rows because it’s brutal on your shoulders.
@@asherhaney3715 SAME. Upright rows are actually a gem of a movement but sadly taxing on the shoulders :/
@@asherhaney3715 yeah. I was just going to hit shoulders on pull day with 45° rows since they are amazing for rear and side delts. Taking a break from lateral raises and frontal raises lol
I had an impingement in 2017. Took six weeks of PT stretching before that sucker broke loose! Haven’t had a problem since. It’s most likely from not getting your chest out in front of you shoulder on chest presses like bench. But who knows?
My shoulders make more noise than a squeaky wheel, yet I love the pump 😅

4:45 is how Ryan drives with no Powersteering so he can get gains on the way to the gym.

What I've realised is that Ryan isn't huge, he's just got really got size proportionally. Don't get me wrong, he's big, but he's made to look all the more bigger on the camera cause he's got great proportions.
