The Ten Commandments Song

- One of my joy and responsibilities as a parent is to teach my kids God's Word. One of the ways is to use songs because songs are catchy. I wrote a number of songs, some are catchy, some are just plain disgusting. hahaha
I wrote this song when we went through Exodus a few years ago. The audience was meant to be only my kids. hahaha.. It was meant to help them remember the Ten Commandments. But I thought I post this since my church is going through the Ten Commandments series.
I am not a singer nor a musician nor a videographer. So, the tune, the video quality, the content, and my voice are very simple and not up to scratch compared to zillion others. But I hope this might help some parents to teach their kids the Ten Commandments :) Enjoy!!
My son plays the guitar. My eldest daughter took the video and added the subtitle. My two youngest daughters sang with us. :)

Loved it and will use it in my Community Bible Study Class. I have 15 kids that will be learning this. There are 139 kids who will hear them sing it at the end . Plus they will practice with siblings. I've been searching for a good one that's straight forward! Thanks

Why do you use these as the 10 commandments even though the bible says the list given in Exodus 34 is the 10 commandments? Is it because the actual 10 commandments would show how utterly preposterous you religion is?

@@sandycitro Thank your son for me! I want to teach this to my Sunday School kids when we go through Exodus in a couple of months. (Maybe by then I'll have mastered the F chord?) I've been looking for a song that is catchy but not too irreverent to use for a Sabbath service, and I think your song is the one that will work nicely! Thank you so much for sharing it!
