I have an entire show from the "Diary of a Madman" tour, February 11th 1982 in Indianapolis Indiana that I filmed on a Sharp VHS camcorder. I digitally transferred it to a computer, then remastered the sound portion with Sound Forge 5.0 pro editing program. The quality is astounding, I am afraid to release it.
I would LOVE to see that footage. But you have to think though. What else is it going to do sitting there? It's been over 40 years!!! Everyone would love to hear that and I'm sure Randy would love for people to see that footage. Sharron Osborne has a TON of footage along with Bob Daisley- who has hours upon hours of Randy doing outtakes in the recordings studio. I just wish they would release it already. I mean what the hell are they even waiting for??
Can you send a copy to me? I’ll release it for you if you want. I’m a guitarist and Randy is the reason I picked it up. The footage would be invaluable for me to study his techniques for live playing.
If this guy uploaded it, Randy would hit the first few notes, there would be a flash of white, then it would skip ahead a few minutes, play 5 seconds, then end 2 minutes early.
Hello Romano. You saw such a great guitarist. I was only 15 when Randy died. I started playing guitar at 11, and Randy's playing was such a catalyst for me to keep playing guitar the rest of my life.and teaching guitar full time like Randy did. Man...if you could post your video on RUclips it would be greatly appreciated all over the World. There's so very little video and audio bootlegs of Randy. The 2 studio alblums that Randy did with Ozzy will always be some of rock and roll's best...
It would be nice if the stupid preview panes didn't block the view of Randy soloing for the last 10-15 seconds! Why can't those fucking things be removed?! It's insanely frustrating as it ruins the end of this great footage.

I was there at this concert and I also filmed the performance after this which was the 1130 show. This was the early show! I saw Randy play six times
