Even after all this time it’s still a crying shame for all of us.
That poor kid was just getting warmed up and was taken. It sure would’ve been nice to hear the amazing music that young man would’ve given us.🫡

Dammit Man !!!! Randy was just freaking incredible!!! What a tragic loss the world has suffered !!! One thing is for sure . The little bit of music that Randy Recorded will be heard until the end of time . Randy lives through the music he left with us !!!

Thank God for Randy. Ozzy voice was never great and he had horrible stage presence. Randy was responsible for his solo career just like Sabbath was responsible for initially giving him a musical career.

at 29:00 Randy messes up and it looks like ozzy gives him the stink eye. At 16;52 ozzy messes up and should have gone into the pre chorus but they get it gathered up both times like the pros they were. Ive also never seen Flyin high live, i always wondered what guitar he used and how he killed the vol briefly in the verses, vol pedal or guitar vol, clearly he did both. This is truly a gift to everyone, what an absolute badass Randy was and so tragic and senseless how we lost him. May he be remembered for a thousand years. RIP

Yeah I've seen other bootleg videos of this exact proformance and for some reason they nowhere near looked as good of quality as this video so this was a real treat for me .Ozzy even said it "everyone was paying attention and looking at Randy .this is no disrespect to Ozzy cause he actually knew and understood the huge stage presence Rhoads processed while playing live .it was just impossible not to be fixated on Randy .I was one of the lucky and blessed to have got to witness the genius that was RR .I couldn't take my eyes off him the entire set .I was up front on the floor right up against the railing to the stage not 10 ft from him .he was ousing with confidence and was just the total embodiment of what a Rockstar looked and sounded like and had this unique ability to connect with the audiences letting them not just to hear his music but also feel every note .he played with so much feeling and emotion that it was undeniably a attribute that very few musicians processed Page and Hendrix being a couple others that come to mind .Randy was just a shining star that stood out like the North Star in the nite sky .all of the other guitarist that played in Ozzys band after Randy's death while very talented I admit but they just couldn't be compared to Rhoads especially when talking about playing live and even more so his songwriting skills .that was where he surpassed everyone I can think of .with MAYBE the exception of Jimmy Page .Out of all the players who I saw live over my lifetime from practically every established and successful 70s and 80s Rock and Metal Band (quite literally) none shined as Brite as RANDALL WILLIAM RHOADS . LOVED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN

1981 was when The Legend of the Lone Ranger came out and that was part of Randy's solo was William Tell Overture. Also country was big in general because of Burt Reynolds' Smokey and the Bandit and Dallas on TV which Ozzy later parodied in The Ultimate Sin music video.

This is wonderful that there is this footage of Randy Rhoads....you just know SOMEONE has some really professionally recorded footage of these shows....THERE JUST HAS TO BE....the only one can't be the radio station live recording of 4 or 5 songs.....I would REALLY love to see some of this footage released so I can see it before I DIE....damn near 45 years ago....Can someone PLEASE come off of their Greedy asses and give us some ??? If the Osbournes have some, and Greed is the holdup, rediculous I SAY.....Freaking heartfelt greed....That family has enough money for twenty lifetimes....just give us some of those recordings.....Whoever has some....If the Osbournes DO NOT have any,Come rightforth and TELL US SO.....If anyone ELSE has some of the proferssional OR UNPROFESSIONAL footage of Randy,By ALL MEANS ...PLEASE Let the public see it......is the only great footage that of the the radio show video recordings ? and the one Diary Tour Professional video with Brad Gillis ??....then straight to 1983 US Festival with Jake E Lee......????

@@BrunoG25 Randy Rhoads was better than Eddie Van Halen. Randy Rhoads played with WAY more emotion, and feeling, you could feel every note he played, especially the solo to Mr. Crowley, Eddie would never be able to play with emotion and feeling, AT THAT LEVEL. Eddie played with flashy flare, and Rhoads played with feeling, and emotion. God Bless both EVH, and R.R.
