This recording actually has some punch to it! It sounds like it came off vinyl from the pops and clicks at the beginning. Ozzy’s pitch was much better this night.
I guess people don't read the description. Yes,this is a very early recording, from vinyl, and a little mastering through pro tools about 14 years ago. It has been posted since 2019 ,after I saw another very poor sounding post by someone else. It did turn out very well for being an album I got in 1981. Ozzy was pretty hit and miss ,but this is when he really was trying ,and playing to his home country,so if he could breakntheren, then it was onto the States, which is what happened ,but he got rid of the band that put him back in the position to be even bigger then he was ! So yeah, clicks and pops! You should have heard it before it was cleaned up!
I had to make sure I did post that it was a remaster from a bootleg,it is an old one too ,just a white sleeve with a xerox copy of picture of ozzy and Randy! I should post the before version! I made a copy of this and gave it to Randy! He thought it was cool that I found a bootleg in Glendale Ca. of a show he played in the U.K.!
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes That's cool that you played it for him and knew him! Most of the board recordings must have comp limiters on the master bus so they could get it consistently loud through the FOH but that kills the punch unlike this one someone with a stereo mic pair I think recorded and put on vinyl. It has punch and I don't mind the pops and clicks at all!
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes nothing to do with Ozzy and his drunken bullshitt, nope! Just glad to hear Randy Rhodes doing his act slightly different but sorta laid back! Was looking for words to say! @@MichaelDouglasSkewes oh man... I'd gladly send you some money if I could get some of the CDs. And please let me know if you do post the videos. Those would seriously be some major historical videos considering how little there is of Randy.
This is fricken awesome! On fire! Was Randy fast or what?! His trills/hammer-on's were so damn fast, it's like what the hell just happened! My 41 years, and it seems like yesterday, and really sucks. Put your guard down for a minute and put your life in someone else's hands and some POS takes your life with his. Just so completely idiotic, stupid!! WHY!!!
I was THERE, on Sunday July 12th 1981, row three. Randy's ONLY Seattle appearance ever, and it ROCKED. Also saw Tommy Aldridge with Pat Travers a few months earlier at the Seattle Center Arena. Them were the days, before MTV killed rock and roll.
Bob and Lee ,this is 1980,Sharon still needed Bob to finish the 2bd Album, then the boot! Bob and Lee never made it to America with Ozzy, well Bob did for the first part of Bark at the Moon! I have one ofBob's Basses he played on that tour in 83.
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes Any idea why Bob won't release the Holy Grail? If I remember correctly it's due to money issues which is such a shame. Really whatever the case is it's a shame since he has hours of recordings and films.
@@mbass718 maybe Sharon thinks she owns them and will do anything to make the rest of his days pure hell. Whatever the reasoning, it sucks we aren't hearing them. I think I've heard him play some "teases" of those old tracks while doing interviews.
A good remastered Blizzard tour, audience recording! I made a copy of this show for Randy,.......he loved it,but he was reminded that the Dot V would go out a lot easier! But his tech figured how he could make it stay in tune! He really got it stay in tune!
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes Was that because of the floating trem in polka dot guitar? I always wondered if randy had trouble with that guitar going out of tune.
No ,he wasn't allowed to bring that thing over there, Greg Leon let him borrow his Marshalls ,which where black and white, with a mod in the preamp and had EL34s , and he used those until Marshall endorsed him. And he basically got the same thing just three stacks ,and then 4 form the next tour.
You have that backwards ! Randy was doing that way before malmsteen was even heard of! I was at the first show Yngwie ever played in the U.S.! He was impressive! But RAndy will always be ....great,and he is just Randy. Different than anyone else!
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes You know, RR was contracted to do one more OO album and this is why I believe Quiet Riot's Metal Health gave Carlos the credit. I have a hard time believing that CC wrote that record when the guitar tone was RR. Not to mention how drastically CC song writing and riffing changed.

This was at a small place with a menu and mini jukebox on table
VERY cool ‼️
I'm glad you like it!
W0w randy rhoads just fucking wow!
Thank you so much for all of the recordings! Would you happen to have one with “You said it all” from the early tours?
I think I do,I'll check and see ,it might take a while. I'm glad you like the recordings, just trying tomake sure peopledon't forget Randy!
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes Never!
Yeahhhhhh!
Are imitating that annoying idiot? I wish I could have muted him,I can ,I might try again later ! Yeaah!
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes nothing to do with Ozzy and his drunken bullshitt, nope! Just glad to hear Randy Rhodes doing his act slightly different but sorta laid back! Was looking for words to say! Got my new white Kramer today stiff trem and way out there but plays really great! Thanks for posting Michael!! Are you going crazayyyyy!! Hahahaha!!
Perche' sharon non pubblica i concerti??
Too many people claim they own the recordings CBS records are the ones that think they do,Sharlon doesn't think it's worth the money.
Nessuno non riesce a rubargli sti video😂😂😂
The original crew on this...
OMG I would love to have this on cd and NYC Diary tour (dvd and cd). I am tryiing to find someone who could put youtube stuff on dvd. I need some Morbid Angel stuff on dvd so bad off youtube. Now THERE is a GREAT one Trey Azaghtoth. I was friends with Chuck ...would love to have seen him and Trey play together......
I have New York City Diary tour on Audio.
let me know if you want any of these recordings! I have them all on C.D. !
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes Yes oh please email me at MSFS120@gmail.com thank you so much
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes oh man... I'd gladly send you some money if I could get some of the CDs. And please let me know if you do post the videos. Those would seriously be some major historical videos considering how little there is of Randy.
@@mbass718 no problem Mike.
WHY!!!
do you have the seattle show?
I was THERE, on Sunday July 12th 1981, row three. Randy's ONLY Seattle appearance ever, and it ROCKED.
Also saw Tommy Aldridge with Pat Travers a few months earlier at the Seattle Center Arena. Them were the days, before MTV killed rock and roll.
Hey brother, How did you? Do you work in the field or at a Concert Hall etc? Otherwise thank-you for this time capsule.
Is this with Bob and Lee, or Rudy and Tommy. The drumming does not sound like Tommy?
I think I've heard him play some "teases" of those old tracks while doing interviews.

audience tape? sound slike ozzy talking wow
Originals menbers
Yes! Sharon fired Kerslake and Daisley early on. Just Really listen to how much better this version of the band is. Sharon is a cheap bitch.
I heard Randy used a ampeg vt40 at this show because his American marshalls wouldnt power up in england.
Ozzy sounds constipated!
probably was.
Probably just high af
@@catrionaaaaaaaa probably both!
Randy rhoads alcune volte sembra malmsteen
You have that backwards ! Randy was doing that way before malmsteen was even heard of! I was at the first show Yngwie ever played in the U.S.! He was impressive! But RAndy will always be ....great,and he is just Randy. Different than anyone else!
@@MichaelDouglasSkewesquindi malmstee ha copiato un randy!!
"Looking at me, Looking looking at you".... I cringe at that song... definitely one of RR worst.
It has a great riff ,followed by ,well a bad one ! The heavy riff or the verse I like ,and the solo . But I see your point !
Sorry, no worst for Randy, Randy Is God.
@@GG_77 yep!
It sounds more like a late 90's pop-punk song. It's still better than No Bone Movies. I wish "You Said It All" was on the record though :(
@@MichaelDouglasSkewes You know, RR was contracted to do one more OO album and this is why I believe Quiet Riot's Metal Health gave Carlos the credit. I have a hard time believing that CC wrote that record when the guitar tone was RR. Not to mention how drastically CC song writing and riffing changed.
Holy crap, i know the complete audiencerecording. But this on is onTop.
Who knows Sharons storage?
