The song was from a project Phil was involved in a couple years earlier called Wildlife. Steve and Chris Overland wrote it. Ozzy and Phil reworked it and took all the credit for it.
Same exact experience, except it was the Ultimate Ozzy, the live DVD shot during the Ultimate Sin tour. My dad passed 2 years ago. This friday I am getting an ozzy tattoo!
Listen to Bob Daisley Lee Kerslake closely on Little Dolls. Jake's solo on you never know why is great, but Randy came first and if anyone says Jake was better than Randy.....nobody is better maybe just as good.
I'm a RR dude, but this version of Ozzy's band rocked the best. Ultimate Sin is a great album, and this proves it. Horrible shame Sharon had to kill it for all of us...
I bought the Ultimate Sin and Judas Priest Turbo albums the same day the were released in sweden and were surprised how radio friendly the bands gotten in just a two years or so. You could actually feel time was changing in the scene.
This was Ozzy dangerously close to crossing the line to the pop hard rock garbage of the 80s hr himself hates it and me personally a die hard Ozzy fan definitely my least favorite Jake was to glam sounding for Ozzy I prefer zakk by a mile
If I could draw Ozzy's career on a stock chart this would be the peak. I know many may disagree but they would be wrong. The Ozzy brand was never bigger.
I know. I saw Ozzy on this tour two nights in a row at Long Beach Arena with Metallica opening. It was a HUGE mistake of Sharon to fire Jake. The mother of all asshat moves.
@NC METAL MUSIC yeah so many people loved the ultimate sin. I don’t understand it at all, and I never will. I suppose if you were young and loved ozzy when it was released, but considering bob daisy viewed it off putting and ozzy hated it tells you something.
I taped this original broadcast in Feb or March 1986. Was a heavy metal feature I think on the Tube. 86 was a great year for concerts in Newcastle saw Dio , WASP, Metallica and Anthrax live. Cheers for posting great memories
Saw him on this tour in Edinburgh - still up there as one of my fave concerts.....wasted by truly awesome and what a show. (Edit just noticed I posted twice ooops)
like people do not understand the massive fans from THE ULTIMATE SIN BARK AT THE MOONS ALBUMS AMAZINING JAKE E LEE BOB DAIYSLEY DESERVE SO MUCH RESPECT
I saw Ozzy with 'No More Tears/Ozzmosis' tour USA back when people rocked! Now they stand around holding their cell phones watching the show through the phones little screen, what a bunch of panzies!!
I have also on video somewhere so great to see. It did remind me that I saw Ozzy the week after at Sheffield City Hall and he was hammered, though still put on a great show and surprisingly for the rest of the band he did a second encore. Great vodka you have here!!!!!
This whole show is disgusting. Jake E. Lee is given almost no camera time and when the camera is on him you can't make out anything. The bass player and drummer get plenty of time and Ozzy of course but, the guy actually generating the energy is barely shown. It just makes me sick how Ozzy and Sharon treated Jake.
I saw them not long after this in Belfast. Was great to see Jake E Lee live but it has to be said that otherwise it was a Liberace trainwreck of a show in a leisure centre sports hall.

Awesome - saw Ozzy on this tour in Edinburgh
@@saintuk70 Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope you enjoyed the gig at the Playhouse, I have been there a good few times as well.
The best time for the band.
Tank'n brother. 😎🤘
IF YOU FUNDING ASK SHARON THANKS FOR POSTING BEST OZZY LINE UP PERIOD
‘86 Ozzy was the best Ozzy
Nope ....when he had Rhoads was the ultimate
Jake E.Lee 🤘🎸🇯🇵
Jake is my favorite Ozzy guitarist.
Randy is my fave, Jake second, Zakk third.
Those Jake.E. Lee leads are incredible. Supposedly, the bassist Phil Soussan wrote Shot in the Dark.
The song was from a project Phil was involved in a couple years earlier called Wildlife. Steve and Chris Overland wrote it. Ozzy and Phil reworked it and took all the credit for it.
Jake is just a beast of a player
Yeah, but Zakk is worlds 🌎 better ❤❤
Awesome line-up. Phil Soussan on bass, Jake E. Lee on guitars and the great Randy Castillo on drums.
Incredible show 🤩🌀🤘🏼🥂🎶💫🎶
@@JoseGarcia-eadgbe Phil Soussan : awesome. Like how long did that last ?
@@trikkke11 Ozzy treated him and Jake like sh_t.
My dad has this recorded on VHS and always played it when I was a young kid, it's what got me into rock music. Absolutely epic performance!
A good dad.

RIP Randy castillo.
Classic stuff from Randy and Jake cool that was the good old days Rip Randy
My fave Ozzy record!! RIP Randy Castillo (drums) 👍🏽🥁🔥
Best crunchy guitar riff of all time ultimate sin
I don’t care what anyone says Jake, Phil and Randy were Ozzy’s best band
Nope. Bob, Jake, Tommy and Don, yeah there’s a point to be made.
@@thefonzkiss Yup that is the best lineup. Damn shame they didn't get more time together.

u have asbolutely right dude!!!! they rock.....and we rock !!!!
The worst of the album weren’t Jake’s contributions. He’s said that only about half his material made it on the album. So just imagine….
Good but not great in my book.
Ozzy was never the same after the plane crash.

@@MrGunhuntthe material is legendary, except Phil and Ron’s. The production isn’t legendary. That’s where your blame should go.
@@MrGunhuntOzzy doesn’t hate it. Both Bob and Ozzy have stated that they don’t like how the record is mixed.

seen him at the Mayfair in Newcastle about 3 hours later after this show
Randy Castillo, amazing drummer!
One of greatest!
Couldn't agree more!
Gone way too soon, may he RIP.
They turned up and went heavy for live TV 👍
When I was a sound engineer I am so lucky that I got to see Randy Castillo play in 1992 in Honolulu
Back when Ozzy ruled the world
*Great show...Thanks for this hidden gem!*
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it
I feel like Phil Soussan tipped the sound guy and cameraman to bump him up in the mix and turn down Jake .
I was thinking that same thing...never heard every note of bass in any live show from ozzy....
Saw him on this tour in Edinburgh - still up there as one of my fave concerts.....wasted by truly awesome and what a show. (Edit just noticed I posted twice ooops)
Jack best Ozzy's guitar player with Randy. ❤
Absolute perfection. Thanks for the upload.
I'm glad you found and enjoyed it
" Ultimate Sin " mega power album ever and forever. One betwern all great sonorous giant disc. 😎🤘
I remember being 21 living on Vancouver Island Canada and even out there this was being played everywhere on the radio then!!!!
Jake e Lee knocks it out the park star of the show here

Really, and no one enjoys shows anymore because they're too busy filming and watching concerts via a small phone screen.
Thanks my friend I've been looking for this for ages. I watched it on TV at the time never seen it since. it got me into the band, Thanks, Tone Leics

I went to that show. I think they played Over the mountain as a second encore. Ratt were the support band.
Infernali!
A nice entrance from the Prince of Darkness as a stagehand pulls up the venitian blinds.
you Rock 👏
I was Lucky to see this tour in San Diego with Metallica opening, what a badass show.Cliff Burton was still alive.
This mix is great! Everything above the keyboards. Ozzy music needs keys, but in the background, NOT on TOP!!! Jake & Phil rule!
wow. how can a digitized betamax video be this HD at 720p? amazing.
Beta was actually better quality than VHS. VHS won the marketplace war with Beta max because they had the porn industry behind them.
They played one more song, but it was unaired (one of the oldies i think). It used to be here on youtube.
9:48 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
good job you recorded it eh!

Back in the day TV directors and cameramen were utterly clueless when it came to filming live music acts like rock bands.
Ozzy flashiest n rockin drummer,,Randy Castillo
I thought I saw a video of him here playing iron man, crazy train and paranoid
Yes, there was a video, i think from one of the TV crew. But i dont see it anymore here

The worst camera work.
