Parece que no te gustan tanto los aviones como dices, puesto que te habrías dado cuenta que el del video es un Boeing 717 y Lan, Ladeco ni DAP tuvieron nunca 717 en sus flotas en los 80 ni 90s, es más Ladeco dejó de operar en el 98 y la producción del 717 recién comenzó el 99.
Si la intención fue querer posicionar a tu país como a la vanguardia de la aviación comercial en esos años, permíteme decirte que no te resultó jajajaja

Original name was MD-95 then Boeing changed it after the merger to align it with their aircraft. Great aircraft but they didn't want to sell it.

717 is continue of dc9, but more older Tu-134 was look better...

Same look on the outside but completely different mechanically and electronically. Easier to fly and operate and uses less fuel. Dispatched quite a few while working at MDC.
