Great trip to Hawaii !
Entire flight circuit:
Charlotte-Chicago-San Francisco-Honolulu-Kahului-Hilo-(Hilo to Kona by car)-Kona-Honolulu-Kahului-Los Angeles-Houston-Charlotte
Went to Honolulu with my wife in 2017, from Newark on a 767, 9 hours and 45 minutes, the longest flight I ever had
Thoroughly enjoyed the entire video! Used to watch the planes come and go from my Grandma's terrace that was perpendicular to the runway at Honolulu Airport. Thank you very much for uploading! Happy/Safe Flying!👍✈️🇺🇸
You know when your in paradise when you look down from the plane and u dont see any highways or busy streets or a busy airport. Everything is so laid back, chill and slow out there thats its very welcoming. Nobody rusheng anywhere when u come into the airport. Thats how you know that your in paradise. Great Video
you missed the view from the other side
Great Video. Good job filming it. I loved it and added it to my favorites. Was in Hawaii 35 years ago for my Honeymoon. Have not been back , house, kids, job , and kids college. It all adds up. Maybe someday will get back there I hope. But thanks again.
absolutely fabulous video - thank you so much for posting this... and yes..... I have always loved the thrill of flying .... especially to Honolulu ...... first time in '78 - then '80 and back again in '96 ....and I miss it soooo much.... mahalo nui loa for posting this .... aloha
Very well shot - the departure and arrival both were beautiful.
I could listen to that all day!
Wonderful video. The engine sound is fabuleux! The landing also seemed impressively smooth. Nice to ride these good old 772. Good job!

I love the Pratt & Whitney's! The 4000 proved to be very reliable. I love the green color in the engine too, makes them very distinctive.
Same, but this is the first time im hearing them I used to think United uses the GE90-94B for their 777-200ERs
@@xsentinel3044 All UAL 777s (200, 200ER, 300) use PW4000s (4090 I believe on ER models). The 777s they got from Continental have GE90s.
skinnyb82 the 300 uses the GE90-115B because that’s the sole engine selection for that model.
PAN-PAN they should make space engines soon like in Star Wars
@@zacharynascimento3921 The -300 actually only has P&W engines. The GE90 was never certified on the -300. The -300ER is the model that uses the GE90-115B.
Can’t get enough of those Pratt engine sound.. love ❤️ it.. auto throttle
Great video and thank you for sharing it. I will be going there for spring break with my family.
I like this video, especially the sound of landing.
8:09 love the external air system ducts closing PEWW sound 777 makes, few YT vids capture that sound on takeoff & landing. thx for HQ upload :)
This is so cool. Thanks for sharing with us!
Excellent video on this flight to Honolulu. We vacationed here years ago,, visiting friends of Dad's. Two thumbs up.
Went to Hawaii in February 2018!! It’s a beautiful place!!! Going to Australia in February 2019!!
Amazing video keep up the great work
Had the pleasure of flying N780UA a few years ago between ORD-SFO. Long live the 777A!
Beautiful video. Thank you!
What a roll. That bird took off like a rocket!!
Awesome video. The engines sound is amazing
Beautiful views and amazing video quality! Subscribed👍
I flew my first time to Hawaii . . to run the Honolulu Marathon. What a grand state. I ran this race in December '84, still in the 70's. Wish I spent more time there !
Delta uses a 772 for its non-stop from Atlanta to Honolulu also. Nice video!
Nice flight, thank you kindly for sharing.
ハワイの海が綺麗で、最高ですね!
TRÉS BEAU, MERCI🙏
Excelente video desde Chile abrazo me encanta los aviones 👍👍👍
Fantastic video great job! i flew on UA the triple 7 5x from SFO/HNL also out of gate 86 brought back great memories and getting there was half the fun. You got them firing up those GE90 engines and no talking just that wonderful spooling and high pitch sound love it...............
Just and added note, i also flew in first a few times but i loved going back in the back when there was a full row of 5 seats empty i layed out on them and enjoyed the ride. idk if the conf. is still 2-5-2 or if they have it 3-4-3 or 3-3-3? let me know? i flew back in 2004-2007 when it was like that which was the 200 series also. thanks.............
Beautiful 4k vid... thank you :)
same
I love the Boeing 777 with its powerful turbines, the most powerful of civil aviation. Excellent video, thanks.
I believe the a350 engines are more powerful now.
@@LTLT900I have it third on my list of favorites, after boeing 787 too.
This is not the GE90-115B
Belíssimo Vídeo Parabéns Muito bom

最高の気分です!
I like that engine sound of landing!
Pratt n Whitney PW4000's, not the most powerful but they are very powerful and sound fantastic.
nice relaxing flight.
I am going to Hawaii soon thanks for the video
miss the city of San Francisco and San Francisco International Airport where my father was stationed at U.S.C.G.
Awesome spool up!
Love those PWs!!!
Excellent video
Note the registration on the 777 to the right as it parked at the gate in HNL: N777UA....that aircraft was the very first 777 delivered to United, on Monday May 15th, 1995 in Portland, Oregon (PDX) at Gate E5. About 3 weeks after that, on June 7th, 1995, it operated as the maiden passenger flight as #921, LHR-IAD.
I visited my Aunt and Uncle in Hawaii in 1990, they had a condo in Hilo on the main island! It was AWESOME! except for those little gecko things! It is a beautiful place to visit...except for the six hours over the pacific, and at that time they mostly flew DC10’s and 747’s. Would love to cruise there tho’!
Great vid btw
Very smooth landing.
First time in Hawaii I was stationed at Oakland Army Base 1968-69. Hopscotched a MAC charter out of Travis. Stayed at Ft Derussy next to Hilton Hawaiian Village. Best beach on Waikiki. Grass beach. Shared a Quonset hut BOQ room for $1.50 a night. Chi-Chi’s flowed plentifully. Gotta watch the trade winds. Don’t realize the sun is frying you as the breezes are so cooling.
海の色が綺麗ですね!
I love take offs and landing and I choose flights with the most layovers lol 😆
Great video... Thanks for sharing...
That was a powerful takeoff and landing
Good job on the videos
A wonderful trip I enjoyed with you
Unless I missed it, looked like a soft landing.
You got to love them Howleys,
Sensationell ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-👍🏻
ハワイの景色いいね!
Awesome visuals, as always. That 777-200 was spotless! She sounded amazing too. Those that thumb this video down are jealous nothings.

Love the fresh shrouding!
Hola amigos saludos de Guadalajara Jalisco... México

迫力あるね〜!
Worthy of a like because I have flown on two occasions in the last five years. Don't you wish there was a VR game where you could just fly somewhere?
鳥肌が立つね!
excellent landing
Love the spoil up of the PW

How do you like the RX100 mark V so far? I think it's perfect for inflight video because of how small and compact it is.
When ever I fly I love to video take off and landing as well.
Que chique fui para Honolulu, de penetra neste avião, e nem senti medo.( viagem virtual)
Thanks
wow, nice approach to HNL
Having "ridden along'"with you to the Pineapple State,I have to ask,was this routing the best you could do from Charlotte on United? Perhaps you were after the mileage for your FF account but just watching this series of flights,I'm exhausted! Judging from the seatback inflight map,it looks like it was getting dark in Charlotte as you landing in Honolulu--no telling what time your body clock said it was --did you have a vacation package for the Aulani Resort? Beautiful footage of the beach area--did you go during off-season,beach area recliner area was deserted.
Hawaii looks so beautiful
Styler To it's very hard to leave
I used to work for United years ago. While I enjoyed flying and meeting/seeing different people and places, this is always home.
This was good
Very nice view.
Sweet music🎵😊
여기가어디지는몰라도아름다운곳이네요
This (the 200) was the very first 777 I flew on...from Newark to San Francisco
I love Aulani! been there 4 times!
we had a $65 breakfast for two last year, was really worth $40 at the most.. but hey if you can't afford it don't go there
Nice sound
エンジン音が凄い!
Purser sounds cool
It sounds just like a Trent XWB on an A350!
So that is how you got to Honolulu from Charlotte? Could've connected at LAX. then only one change of planes?
That landing was butter.
God I love the sound of those RR engines! Is there a tail number on that pencil just before pushback?
Those are PW4000, not RR (:
Andy - my bad! Mahalo! 🤙🏾
As you can see and hear. There is no substitute for cubic inches! Wowser 😀
My dad works for Pratt and Whitney. Nice engine
My Family and I Used to Live in Hawaii.
it very nice i like boeing 777 and 747
ボリューム感あるね〜!
