My favorite camera ! I have both the Q2 & Q2M! I use off camera fill flash at times the colors are just amazing. The Monochrome is even sharper and a lot of fun using color filters

Great review! I shoot the Q2 Monochrom, and it's incredible in low light. I think another thing that helps these cameras is the OIS. I leave my stabilization in auto mode.

As a fellow Q2 Reporter owner I have a recommendation for your new gear list for 2024. It’s an old camera from Sony called the RX1R mkii which is no longer in production. It’s an interesting camera to contrast against the Q2/Q3 and I more often grab for my RX1R over the Q2 for casual photography. The Zeiss lens and sensor combo produce unique images in terms of contrast, sharpness and colour.
For the gal that has everything an RX1R mkii would be an interesting addition to your collection.

Thinking between q2 and q3
Hi Mallory, great images you showed there. Question, I am struggling with the low light situations, evenings in restaurant or at home. I end up with dark images, when I lower the shutter speed I got movements of the subject and an ISO larger that 6400 is too grainy. What are your (recommended) settings? Thanks! 🙂
thank you so much for watching!!! I will push my ISO, but not to 6400! If you're handheld, bump your shutter speed as low as possible to capture enough light, and open your aperture all the way up to f1.8! Happy shooting :)
