I'm team Pug and team Boston, both make wonderful cuddle buddies. Frenchies are far from laid back, everyone I've ever watched has been high energy and neurotic and the whining is horrible.
The problem is there are a lot of bad breeders out there when it comes to Frenchies and a lot of other popular breeds. A Frenchie should be none of those things if ethical bred.
Although the Boston Terrier has terrier in its name. It’s not a true terrier in terms of its historical function. For much of its history, the Boston has been bred as a companion breed rather than the traditional jobs many terrier breeds have.

I disagree about the Boston terrior. any kind of terriors have super high energy lol

I have a pug x jackrussle as my service dog. He can do a busy day out or stay home and nap which is great for my low energy needs.
