Do you recommend dt990 over akg k712 pro for fps gaming?
Jeffrey George never used the akg but I can tell you I’m in love with the dt 990’s.
@@Jrekt oh ok and does dt990 have a decent bass and is it good for music heard it was too bright?
I have a soundblaster soundcard...So its better to get 250 ohm as opposed to 80 ohm?
I paired my DT990's with the Schiit audio magni 3 and modi 3. Schiit audio makes great products plus the pricing is decent for being made in US.
how do you like the pairing? picked up the same setup just waiting for my modi in the mail
Are these just plug and play or do u need an amp dac or anything of the sort also is there a software
Would these work for ps4
amp needed
What is a amp
Can you send a link in the comment
Could I just plug it into the controller
Would be nice to see someone with an honest view as You to try their closed headphones: DT-770 Pro 80 Ohm version. They're said to be more bassy and punchy :D
(For ps4) would you rather have Arctis 7/Pro wireless or A40/A50
Sorry if it’s so random
Can I vote Arctis Pro wired (with dac)?
The Techne ye I guess the pro wired is an option
Is it good for Games like Rainbow six siege because if it has good directional audio then I will purchase Arctis pro wired with game dac
And is the arctis 7 similar in performance besides the mic?
@@ayezz3079 the Arctis pro with dac are hands down the best I have used on ps4, for all games. very good for competitive fps as well as immersive story games,
@@ayezz3079 the 7's are great, but the pro's are just a complete different experience. ruclips.net/video/C2_kraGEmA0/видео.html
The Techne I didn’t realize but my nearby store ran out of arctis pro with game dac and 7’s
It’s between A40’s and Arctis pro but am on the edge about them but I need great performance is arctis pro *without* game dac good as well?
I could just order it online but it’s risky because am not at my house most of the day
@TheTechne do you need an amp for the 80ohm version of this headset?
No, but it will make it sound better.
Dude I said the same thing about how they sound. I always tell people it's like being in a room that has a very high quality sound system. They sound a bit distant (not in a bad way though) you can really lose yourself in how they sound especially listening to music
oh yeah, they were amazing for music (well certain styles of music)
Do you really need a amplifier for the dt 990 pro beydinamic.
depends on the ohms you have, but an amp will make any headset/headphones sound better
generaly speaken, all that headset gaming instrustry is fraud...false 5.1..false 7.1 "systems" which you never use because it sound terrible. Every reference studio headset want to deliver clean sound how is it recorded. I mostly regret that pay Razer Megalodon for 170 euros which literaly fell apart by it self...soft material from ear cups start to fall off, plastic parts inside of headset all broke so mine ear cups just cannot attach to headset. So, if you want good gaming headset, buy good audio phones. If you want good audio phones , buy audio headphones, all other is marketing from game industry and bad quallity.
i trust you your reviews , please keep it like this , dont sell your soul XD
How would they preform on the Astro mixamp?
It doesn't have enough power
I heard these are good for video editing, is it true?
Not to be rude but usually reviews are boring but this and all your others are good especially since you had that intro... 🤣
thank you so much :)
can u review the Behringer Studio Headphones (BH 770) there rip offs of beyerdynamic DT 770s and they have the beyerdynamic DT ear pads
i thought the DT 770 pro is as good, well it is but not for gaming, it's not precise to hear enemies
got a 990 pro and there is a huge difference it's actually acceptable for gaming
What about if I want 🎧 that sound good in game and sound good for music? Do arctis pro win again or these are perfect
Hyperx orbit are expensive but good for gaming and music
How many likes is how many times he said right there

Do you recommend the ath-m50x for fps games?
oh yes yes yes 110% they are actually my main headset/headphones
@@TheTechne Thank you sir, do they need a amp/dac like the dt990's ?
After wasting money on the arctic pro wireless I now understand why audiophiles hate wireless
I love the Arctic headsets because their comfort and sound but your sort of new Turtle Beach review the Elite Atlas made me question how about a Turtle Beach Elite Atlas vs Any Arctics of your choice. to make me buy one of these headsets for once and for all.
what platform are you on?
I have the Xbox one x
@@Luna-mo4bp arctis 3 are a good pick. but yes the atlas are awesome as well.
@@TheTechne Thank you might go for the Turtle Beach headset not because i have glasses because i want a wireless one.
I actually came to this channel looking for an arctis pro vs elite atlas aero comparison before seeing this beyerdynamic review which a friend recommended over headsets in general. @the techne for pc fps gaming, which would you prefer? Or do you have a recommendation outside of those 3?
By any chance would anyone know if the Audient EVO 4 Audio Interface is enough to power the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm? If not please leave any recommendations?
Judging from your comments about immersive sound, environment bleed, "harsh" highs etc. it sounds like you'd be more suited for a DT 770 Pro.
Best review! I can see you hitting 100K subscribers really soon!
thank you so much
just got these almost a week ago now to replace my m50x's, I still havent got my dac / amp yet but theyre already so much better than the m50's a lot more comfortable too :)
oh I love my 50x, but I do use brainwaves pads on them
I have a x470 Gaming Pro Mainboard , should i still buy a Soundcard together with the DT990 Pro?
Does the amp works to add a microphone to this dt 990 headsets or do I need to buy sone sort of special mic? I bough this headset but I am debating if a returned them o not. I just need to be able to connect a mic
Can they be used with a cheap 40$ amp? And still use all of the 250 juice?
You gave positive review of LG 32" ultragear, I purchased it. Now after ur + review of 990, I've just ordered it.
so glad I was able to help! as for the 990, I did not enjoy gaming with them
@@TheTechne true, I 'm getting a good deal here in India on the 990. :)
New subscriber, really enjoy your channel and reviews! Thank you for the content.
thank you so much!
For gaming, I would highly recommend the DT770 Pro 80 ohm.
Does it have a built in mic
@@vapour5392 no way
@@Radhaugo108 does it
@@vapour5392 NO!
@@Radhaugo108 well I’ve got a mic adapter so if I plugged it in to that would it have a mic
Oh no, the one thing why he doesent have as many subs as he should. HaIr
what?
You should do a review on the adg1x from audio technica lol. I’m stuck between those and these 990 pros. Loved the review tho!
yeah I have been looking at them, I'm just not a big fan of open back
should i get these or arctis nova pro?
