Thanks for your video comparaison 😍... Try to focus to land both foot at the same time if you can, I know it's not easy when you don't have a very high dock and you cannot put completely the wing under the dock. I will make soon a rock start tutorial also with the "inverted" start. 🤟

In my opinion, with a normal drop start you land with your back foot first, while with an inverted drop start you land with your front foot first. Landing with both feet at the same time didn't work well. I had problems with it too and haven't managed it yet. Even though Yvonite describes landing both feet at the same time, I think the front foot should be on the board a bit earlier. Thanks for the video. Next time I'll practice it that way too
ups at the end of Video you say it , I wrote before I looked to the end 😅

Thanks for comparison! One thing I would change though is the name. Reverse drop makes a lot more sense.

I only realize after Yvones video that I learned inverted before it was cool. You can also do an inverted push hop no need to drop start. This is me in 2021 ruclips.net/video/MbBDvRwoshc/видео.html

Hi Gaël, I want to learn Pumpfoil but I only have a high dock where I can't run, is it worth trying? Also can I keep my wing set up (Curve 1200 L or X-over XL 1650, stab fluid H 45)?

Hi Sebastien! yes, you can definitely learn from an high dock. hopefully it has a bit of overhang otherwise is not going to be simple because you have to keep the foil further away from your body making both the throw and the jump harder. your curve is a bit small to learn with, you can try with the x-over and maybe get something more high aspect later down the line.
enjoy the process and don't hesitate to reach out if you need any help

Hi there, is there particular reason why you are on curve H xxl and not on sirrus xl? Is the curve easier for a dead start? Thank you.

Hi! I was on the Curve simply because I was pumping outside that little marina to try to catch some little waves! And I want to improve my pumping technique on smaller foils
