- RESIDENT EVIL THE FINAL CHAPTER MOVIE REVIEW - Not long ago did Korey and the gang give a movie trailer reaction to the new RE film, and yes Resident Evil fever is high currently as we just saw the anniversary of Resident Evil 2, as well as Resident Evil 7 coming out earlier this week, but the Double Toasted podcast bring this movie review as well as some clips and a whole lot of emotion (that you may have already seen in either the trailers of the tv spot), but what's better than to stop reading this and just check out the review? People, you may be surprised with this one!

I did watch 1-3. The only reason I watched Apocalypse was because I had just got done playing RE3 and wanted to see if they got Nemesis down perfectly. And, they did. Nemesis was perfect from game to movie.

Sad to know that a person died from making a shitty movie.
People die making shoes too, but the product and the creator are two very different - though connected - things. I think nobody should die making a movie, especially a bad one like this. But this doesn't have to stop anyone from enjoying a shlockbuster from time-to-time. Worst case you're being dishonest with yourself (not enjoying a movie which has otherwise enjoyable stupidity in it), and you won't make a difference (no, they won't stop making bad movies). So instead I think it's more efficient to do something in regards to what happened while they were making the movie (like, just telling it to other people or even starting a petition to somehow make movies more harmless), rather than connecting these facts to the movie being bad - and thus suggesting that the fact that they died/lost an arm for a bad movie somehow makes the movie more worthless or their deaths worse.
I'm with Grits on this one. He wasn't having any of it...Lol XD

I don't get it because Girts made sense. If you can't see what the fuck is on the screen, or understand what's going on, how can anyone enjoy it? I guess alcohol/drugs help but seriously -- nearly every OTHER reviewer has brought up the horrible editing being a huge distraction.

The difference is that Coleman and Goodwin (especially Coleman) see these shitty movies ALL THE TIME. It doesn't take a genius or a film expert to notice how shitty the editing is in this film (which is something they mentioned) but as far as these shitty January action movies go, this one they had a little fun with, so let them have it. It's OK to disagree with critics you like every once and a while.

Well, I think the lesson here is that people should not do recreational drugs before watching or reviewing a movie. It seems like just as it is with many other things, the effects of alcohol and other substances can effect performance/results.

Where do the vampires and werewolves come in though? No wait that's Underworld. Fuck. All these tryhard "edgy" R-rated January-core movie franchises with generic titles and no plot progression are the same. It's soulless crap for 30-year-olds in DC shoes and Monster energy hoodies.

Hey, does anyone have any information about Tommy McGrew's present status? I have seen that some people have been saying that Tommy is in jail, but how do they know this? I have heard people say this..yet no one is able to provide sources or information about a trial, conviction, or present status. Yes I know about the incident and everything..but there seems to be no information of a conclusion.
Only reference I can think of for him being in jail is from an episode of "What Up Son?" when Oz mentions Tommy McGrew, and follows it up with "Free Tommy McGrew".
I can't remember what episode it was, but I do remember Oz was talking about which Double Toasted crew was which character from Batman.

Even though it is kind of short and hush, hush there..there were some hints as to where he was at that time. But we still don't get any real information on the specifics. Is he in holding awaiting trial? Was there a trial? Did he take a plea deal? If he is in prison, how long is he in for? None of these questions are answered.

Yeah I am with the Corey's. They are not"good" movies in any critical sense but I saw it last night and enjoyed several pieces. Yeah I had issues with it, but they were only mostly technical because after seeing all the others I know on a performance degree what to expect. So yeah, its definitely not worth ten dollars, but its damn entertaining.
