I feel like this movie was made by people who wanted to recreate inside out but haven't seen it and only been given a description of it once.
Mehkih G More like Wreck it Ralph, Inside out, Zootopia, and Toy Story 3.......but really really bad.
This was not the worst movie of all time, I equate it to Finding Nemo (Inside Out) to Shark Tales (Emoji Movie)
Its inside out, Lego movie, wreck it Ralph, and EVERY BUDDY MOVIE EVER.

I don't get it. Aren't emojis a part of a phone's native text messaging app? So resetting the phone wouldn't erase them at all, the data would be erased, but the emojis would still be in the native messaging app. What's the danger? Seriously I don't get it.
If anything their memories or perhaps world would be erased and they would have to rebuild it.

*He's so narcissistic, man. Everyone has to agree with him or he feels attacked and they feel out of a job. Look how it is now 2 years later. Just based around his opinions and everyone now smiling, laughing and completely agreeing with him and if they don't they look like they feel obligated to change their answers. It's sad :(*

Make no mistake, it is genuinely shit. The same way Jem and the Holograms turned out as awful as everyone expected, the same is true for this. There are literally hundreds of movies you could rent for your kids than waste time taking them to see this

What I get from Cory: it's bad but it's not offensively bad, at least no more so than any other shameless cash-in flick. It's easier to skewer the property (emojis) as it doesn't have any nostalgic cache to really ruin unlike something like Ninja Turtles or whatever.

You know what the said thing is? This movie is still going to make it's budget back, and we will get sequel. All because people are going to see this movie "ironically" oblivious to the fact that movie studios don't care about reviews, they care about the end result.
I'm always disappointed when Martin didn't watch the movie, especially the bad ones
Worst movie ever? No, not at all. This movie isn't viscerally offensive like God's Not Dead, an assault on the senses like Garbage Pail Kids or Jack and Jill, utterly incompetent with delusions of grandeur like Birdemic, nor is it disastrously unfunny like Master of Disguise.
It's just a dumb concept with a bare-bones storyline with uninteresting characters and bald-faced cynical writing. It's just so... sub-par. It's run-of-the-mill. It's exactly what you expect it to be.
(Seriously, that poop emoji could;ve been funny if he was a clean-freak and hated his very existence or identity)
The moment you cast Sir Patrick Stewart as a living piece of excrement you know that your movie has been stillborn.

DT reviewing a piece of shit movie. Christmas has come early.
What I would have done with this concept, would be to make all the Emoji's thespians. And when they're picked, it's their time to act on stage. They love it, and you would see them rehearsing their specific emotes and such, as though they were putting on a Shakespearean play. Sure, can't have much of a story around that, but it's a pretty weak concept to begin with. Only so much you can do with it.

I have been looking forward to this film's release and I was not disappointed. The Emoji Movie has produced the largest crop of hysterically funny and clever reviews of a film that I most likely will never see (unless bribery or torture is involved).
