Love the statement, if you are watching this you are into dishes like this. I guess it’s correct as I am looking for other dishes that I couldn’t think of that look like they might be good. This looks really good to me! Thanks for the recipe!

I made this for dinner tonight and everyone loved it. It was a nice break from the usual pasta dishes we have. I can't wait to try out some more of your dishes.

My family and I love tapenade in Spanish olive oil with bread, and we love tuna, and we love pasta. This dish sounds like the best of all worlds. Plus, you have sauce leftover for another meal.

Perfect, tuna pasta is just my favorite! I add in a squeeze of lemon in mind and sometimes go with a handful of arugola for garnish, tastes wonderful with tuna and a tip for those who don't like it too saucey substitute the can of tomatoes for about 5-6 cherrie tomatoes instead. But I love the caperi and black olives it's almost an essential and he did it right. Like the Italians say NO cheese with fish!

I would make this dish at home all the time. I even use the same exact canned tuna. Only variation I do is add a splash of clam juice and white wine to the sauce. It’s so good.

  • @rynegade

Just made this after Puttanesca. Originally made the Puttanesca with Kalamata and Castelvetrano olives. Made this with the Oil-Cured Olives, added tomato paste a la Puttanesca, and subbed Canned Mackerel for Tuna. The tomato paste definitely brought it down to being too earthy by the end of my second helping. I will skip it next time.

No need for salt if you use Tuna & Anchovies - they're already very salty (for me - I can't differentiate fake Anchovies from real - they both way too salty)
