There have been times in my life that I thought of some really weird things too put together when I was EXTREMELY hungry and needed anything to "munch" on. This combo never came up (surprisingly). Looks nice and easy and I probably have the ingredient's laying around. Thanks Pasquale!
i never used to like the idea of hot tuna but with this dish its amazing - now one of my favourites - i add a little more liquid before adding the pasta and it makes a delicious sauce
I have been wanting to try this recipe for months! I kept pushing it back “oh next week” ... all the weeks I could have been making that delicious, simple pasta dish!! Thank you sharing your recipes, delicious every time!
The memory's you bring back from Sunday supper when I lived in N.J. Woodbridge . I live in Maine now Thank you for your cooking show.God bless your and Your family Hope you are having a good winter.
I don't know what happened to good tuna fish in the can these days, but Chef I agree the tuna in oil in a jar is the best. It is a little pricey but worth it.
I used to be married to an Italian. Her sister was married to a Sardinian. They had tuna in a big can that was so good, you would walk by the Starkist and Chicken of the Sea in a heartbeat.
I love this Recipe❤️❤️ I remember as a child my mother having to feed 3 kids making this on a Friday during Lent and me complaining as most kids do wanted something else until I tasted it “ONG”. So Delicious 😋🤤🤤🤤. Grazia !!!!!!
Had all the ingredients except for the tuna because that’s what I thought I had back home, but in fact I had canned sardines, I decided to go ahead and use them. The taste of the sauce was a little overwhelming, so I decided to add lemon juice to taste, and it was exactly what it needed, all the ingredients just popped in the mouth!

Hello Nonno Pasquale, Delicious recipe... I have to make this now, I'm hungry. I also wanted to tell you i did purchase 2 of your salute e cin cin shirts... Very nice...God Bless You and your family.
there is something about tuna and tomatoes Americans find strange but this is a staple dish so good so easy to make..even with canned tuna and anchiovi paste and canned tomatoe if you buy quality...dont get Hunts or any thing like that... San marzano never fails
Yep, looks delicious, and no, there is no substitute for capers, is a berry from a bush with its own distinct flavor. I have seen folks try green olives, nope, not close, and capers do not taste like chicken, lol.
I wish my kids would not have corrected me the whole time while I was learning English! I love his accent and I always laugh when he says bateira, for potatoes! lol. He is adorable!
I would have sprinkled toasted seasoned bread crumbs - just a little. But grated cheese on fish in italy is a no-no - he probably did it because he just likes it.
That recipe is exactly what I was looking for. Simple, healthy and so full of flavor! Thank you! My parents were born in Sicily!

And I thought I was the only one who did something like this but without the tomatoes. Thanks for the reminder.

may anyone tell me what is Jagr?

Lovely recipe. But no onion?
Forgive my ignorance but I always have heard that cheese on pasta with fish is a no-no. No?
It is, he probably just likes it. I typically sprinkle some bread crumbs on any kind of fish dish, if anything at all.
Mille grazie!
Delicious😍😍😍😍😍
