Nothing but facts. Great video, as a chinese learner i already know many of the things you said in this video but even just hearing you talk about it is good for me to hear and is a good reminder of what i should be doing to continue improving my chinese💪
I hope this channel blows up and gets really popular. You, Frankie Light and Xiaoma are picking up where Laoshu left off. Thanks for making such good content and being an inspiration for Americans to learn Chinese.
I'm sad that this ended with you saying you'll tell us how best to contact and speak with partners in the next video, but months later, it's just reaction videos.
Sorry Im working on making better vids over all. Then making that content. The way I do it is with an app called hello talk, ometv, and if you wanna get real fancy… find out how to say “how to practice english online” in your target language then find the sites native in your target language go to and become 50-50 partners with them! 😉
@@LaoShuaiYT Awesome to hear! I heard you speak about HelloTalk in the Speaking Mandarin podcast, and I'm very excited to look into that! It was from that I found this channel. That 50-50 partner thing sounds next level! P.S. Those reaction videos where still super fun 😊 P.P.S. Thank you for responding! I wasn't expecting that! 谢谢
Haha if only! Just started my journey a few weeks ago! You'll maybe be happy to know that pod still comes up high on the list when searching for Mandarin podcasts on Amazon.
I have heard your radical tip before but I never internalised it. I always keep falling back on thinking it's all repetitious stroke writing (which is why I almost never do it). I'm going to do that. Also glad to hear you're not falling onto Ankidroid/Memrise memes. Their effectiveness is really not so strong. Especially in the context of motivation. Learning vocab the 'trad' way or even the flashcard way, which is slightly more modern, is the most boring sh*t ever. Chatting and reading/listening to stories however is actually interesting or at least tolerable. It also contextualises words which helps memory. Many thanks. One of the few rational people on this topic who doesn't spout the same ol' spiel.
This was a solid, well put pre tutorial.
Thanks yeah im looking to more educational content soon!
