"Using the camera with Auto Pwr OFF Temp. set to High while holding it in your hand for a long period of time may cause low-temperature burns. You may keep Auto Pwr OFF Temp. set to High if using the camera with a tripod, etc." Information from Sony.
Yes, I am using power bank to charge the camera. So far, I didn't feel that the battery was hurt. I am not a daily user. It may depend on how often you charge the camera.
Answer from ChatGPT: "Using a power bank to charge your Sony ZV-E10 camera should not hurt the battery inside the camera. However, it's important to use a high-quality power bank with the correct voltage and current specifications to ensure safe and efficient charging. Charging with a power bank is generally a convenient and safe way to keep your camera powered while on the go."
Since you have a powerbank, add a usb fan and glue a coldshoe plastic cover onto it so it blows behind the camera. I do this for my multiple a6400 setup for conferences. I both stream to switcher over hdmi and record 4K internally and get +10 hours of battery and no overheating. Granted, i switch sd cards 😂
@bicarafoundation Both Sony ZV-E10 and ZV-1 connected with External Power Supply 1.Under XAVC S 4K- 30p 100M, Power Off Temp.: Standard Both ZV-E10 and ZV-1 Stop @25Min 2.Under XAVC S HD-30p 100M, Power Off Temp.: High Both ZV-E10 and ZV-1 Passed 1H30Min 3.Under XAVC S 4K- 30p 100M, Power Off Temp.: High ZV-E10 and ZV-1 Passed 1H30Min ZV-1 Stop @28Min
Thanks so much for this, I have a ZV-E10 and wanted to do a burn in test, so you saved me a few hours :D
Excellent video!
If I use dummy battery, if the indoor temperature is 30°C, can the ZV-E10 / A6400 record continuously for 3 hours at 4k 24p?
Probably it can't take that long because of overheating. You can try to put a fan behind the camera.
Really appreciate this!
