I bet that’s quite a cool sight seeing a huge rig like that going down the highway especially with how clean you keep things!!
We have really enjoyed the rig so far Steve, coming up on a year!
You two are simply the best youtube rabbit whole I have ever been down!
Lol! Thank you Rick! Appreciate you watching!
You both are my inspiration. Every time I watch your videos you take it to a whole other level. And you did great getting out of the car. 😊
Thank you so much Karen! Getting in and out of the car helps keep me "young" :)
You guys are killing it! That’s a great trailer and you can take it all with you 👍 Hopefully all your parking spots will be pull-through!
Thanks Hogdriver88! Yes sir, so far all have been pull-throughs, will try to keep it that way :)
Living your best life. Good for you guys! 💪🙂
So happy to see you guys back on your channel, Have really missed you`ll.
Thanks so much Linda!! We appreciate you watching!
Sad to see them Momentum gone, but you’ve got a great new set up.
Thanks Jarhead & Ginger's Journey!
As a full-timer I love seeing how others tackle this issue. I like how the trailer lets you switch up to a vehicle that is not/or cannot normally be flat towed. You also have the added space for storage. I think it would be easy to get overweight on that trailer so I am glad to hear you are keeping an eye on that. Thanks for sharing.
Hey thanks for watching Cory. I'm really happy with our decision to go with the trailer....So far :)
Sorry to say every unit needs a little ding for the perfectionist god. We dont wanna upset him now.
😂👍
Thanks you two. Enjoyed the update. Have fun and keep making those memories
Thank you D Branch! Much appreciated.
Absolutely beautiful home and garage! Great system….You guys ROCK! Stay safe
Thank you so much Latada! Appreciate ya!

Thank you Mrs. R! Appreciate you watching.
Living the dream!
Trying to get it done while I can :) Appreciate you watching Matt.
Great Trailer. I’m glad you both are having fun.
Much appreciated Chris!!
Absolutely love your videos. I’m learning a lot as I prepare to retire and travel the country in a class A motor home. So thank you for all the great content.
Awesome Robert! Glad we could help out.
thanks guys - love your content.
Thanks for watching Michael!
Awesome video! I watched it twice just so I could hear Clay say “Vuh-Hicle” again😂😂😂 i miss you guys but love the videos!
Lol!! That Island accent shows up from time to time.....Thanks D!!
Nice set up guys
Love your content .
Thanks
Thanks for watching Joe!
Absolutely love your videos Nice trailer.
Thank you very much Derrick!
Wow, what a rig, and some awesome toys to boot. You guys sure know how to live. Not gonna lie….I’m a little jealous! Haha love the video.

Great video!
Much appreciated Mike!
That’s a great set up
Thanks David!
Great video! The trailer option looks perfect. I hope you’re enjoying your full time status. We have been full time for just over three years and are still having a great time and experiences. Stay safe and hope to see you on the road someday!! Thanks for sharing 😊🇺🇸
Hey Janice! Thank you and yes ma'am, so far we are really enjoying full time. Glad you guys are as well and hope to see y'all down the road!
Absolutamente perfeito, esperando o próximo vídeo.

Much appreciated Josevan!
loveit!! the bo and luke duke exit thru the car window makes the video!!! stay safe and warm
Lol!! Thanks Rocky!
Good looking rig !
Thanks Howard👍
Your channel is awesome and first one I’ve found that really shows everything you do!!
Thanks so much! We appreciate you watching my friend.
Thanks! You confirmed my suspicions - the trailer is exactly how I would handle both bike and car. Safe travels and enjoy the ride,
Hey Fred, yeah we went back and forth but very happy with our decision to go with the trailer.
That’s a long haul. Congratulations, love the rig and the dodge like backlights
Thanks S Tea👍
Love it. You two are doing it right. We like bringing all of our toys also. We have it a little easier with the Vette. It's a convertible so I just have the top down and climb out.
We just got back from Florida. A great trip with no issues. Yay.
Take care and be safe
Thanks Patty & Mark! Glad you guys had a good trip to Fl! Love y'all's set up!
Love the BMW and Trailer thanks for the video
Much appreciate Patrick!
THANKS for answering that question ! I am anxious to see where you kids go next !
Lol! We are sticking with this for a while Paul!!
Hey you two, great vid as always. Just wanted to say thanks for this particular vid as we have a 33 ft trailer for behind our MH. We are not full time and just do a few trips each year and other than a racing guy that lives near us you guys are the only ones that I know that tow a trailer. My wife is concerned that we wouldn’t be able to find spots for the rig and trailer. So you helped put her mind to rest. Thanks again and we would love to ride with ya. Ride safe!
Hey Todd, glad we could help a little. All the best to you guys!
Nice Trailer, Enjoy your Life
Much appreciated Sammy!
Nice set up,and yes keep everything locked up.
Appreciate it Rich! Yes sir!
Hi Daryll, it looks like the Tolleson Train! Have fun with it!💪
LOL Uwe! Thanks man!
God bless and safe travels.
Keep the rubber on the road.
Thank you Brian!
We’ll done sir. You’ve created a really nice setup.
Hey Chad, thanks, we appreciate you watching!
Awesome trailer setup. Wow you are long my friend. So be able to recognize you on the road 😃 love your rig and colors.
Thanks Richard! Hope you guys are doing well 👍
I enjoyed this Video,,a great trailer,,and bus is awsome,,,might see you all,in the black Hills this summer,,x🌲🌲😎,,Dave ..
Awesome Dave, we plan to be there !
Thanks or the info. I use the Wheeldock for my bike as well. I'm too old and fat to be crawling out of a car window, you make it look easy!
Lol Rick. Yes sir, that Wheeldock has been nice to use. Hope you are doing well!
like the new trailer.. I have a trailer my brother and I own to tow our bikes. I noticed your wheel chock for your bike but we use Biker bar motorcycle hold down and love it. saw it in Sturgis years ago also for added protection we use Big Daddy 2inch straps best straps I ever bought. Have safe travels.maybe some day our paths will cross.
Thanks Dave! I'm looking at the biker bar...a friend of mine uses that system. Very nice!
Like the trailer, keeps everything clean. A lot of storage.
Thanks Keith!
Hi guys
That is officially the best option in my book. By the way loving the cowboy hat. Thanks for sharing and safe travels
I love the cowboy hat too.
Hey Leslin Adventures! Lol! Thanks for watching. Hope all is well in FLA!!
Thank ya Bell!!
Hey I just watched you video on sphere fish canyon ride. great ride. just wanted to let you know at the end you can go left to Deadwood but try going right on 85 wow what a beautiful ride the curve roads and the scenery.
Awesome Dave! Thanks for the info!
Love it. Looks like you guys put together a great combo that works right for your needs. As for the damage done to your trailer, appears it was someone pulling in on the left who hit your trailer with their right rear view mirror. And of course they didn't stay parked next to you. They either moved to the other side or went to a digging location all together. Hopefully some repays them the same favor!
Thanks Jose' A! Yes sir, I agree with ya, just glad it was the RV they hit. :)
Wonderful set up! Beautiful bus & trailer! I made the same mistake about NOT having a side door on our trailer. If I gain anymore weight I’ll have to exit the nascar way like u. We have been blessed with our 40’ bus and a stacker trailer to haul my wife’s Jeep, my Harley, bikes, Drum set and wardrobe. Our total length is 65’. Fortunately we have been able to get Pull thru site as we travel. More than not the extended stay places have a trailer drop. I like to say that we don’t have an RV…. We have an RC (Rolling Condo)! Safe Travels to u both!!!
Hey David! That sounds like an awesome set up! How long is the stacker trailer? Would love to see your rig!
I do believe you can get two Kayaks in that trailer too:). safe travels!
Yes indeed Ray!!
great info TL. we were a bit concerned about towing a vehicle and bikes as well. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful Terry! I was hesitant at first but very glad we went with the trailer option.
Very nice
Thanks David!
Good to see Clay again....you guys are awesome. The scratch on the trailer is probably from a overhanging object from a truck bed... like 2x4 boards. They just came to close while turning. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you ECC, I thought the same thing, something in the bed of a truck....Oh well, glad it wasn't the RV :) Thanks for watching!
ECC, not sure of my response went through, but thank you !!👍
Well who doesn't like to play NASCAR? great job on the video as always. Cowboy Cool!
Lol! Thanks Bell!
Holy smokes you guys. I have a 17' and thought it was long....Awesome. That big rig can pull it for sure. Nice setup. One tip...change the overhead vent to metal. It will take away some light but after a few years, that plastic one will disintegrate. I found that the hard way, after a storm and water coming in. Changed it to the metal with a fan. Works great. Added some battery LED's and light is no problem. I also utilized the E-track on the sides which is a lifesaver.
Hey Frosty! Thanks for the tips as always man!
@@TollesonLife roll on guys roll on.
You could sell the motorcycle BUT I see that was not an option, LOL!!!!!! You guys are killing it, Live long, enjoy life!!
Lol!! Yeah, that's not an option right now my friend. Appreciate ya!
And there you go! Been long awaiting to learn your choice to haul the car and Harley. Great choice, but I’m thinking that overall length had to be a little intimidating at first? It’s certainly not for the faint of heart!! Enjoy the new estate home and many happy miles my friends!!!
Hey Rickey! yes sir, I was a little hesitant about the trailer but now, very glad we chose this route. Appreciate ya!
Can’t go wrong with a Road Glide Ultra and a Wheeldock! I have the same setup.
Nice Jim! Love it!
Dang...can't hide money 💸 💰 that's awesome!
Lol! Appreciate ya Carolina Rider!
Love your channel, I’m a subscriber. I’ve been watching your videos for several years. Thank you for putting up great and informative information along with beautiful location you’ve visited. Can you put together a list of those locations that you visited that would accommodate your motor coach and trailer. Thank you and keep posting your journey.
Awesome! Thank you Robert, can you shoot me a email at Tollesonlife@gmail.com, be glad to share with ya.
What a great way to spend retirement and see the USA!
We are really enjoying seeing the Country while we can Megan! Hope all is well!
that was my first thought also
Yep!! I was just hesitant but very glad we went this route. Thanks for watching worrall538!
Nice. But how do you ratchet secure the car?
FANTASTIC CHOICE! Simple fix on that ding - paint your trailer Fire Opal like your Bus! Life is great! Thanks for sharing you two!
Thanks Mike! Might just do that my friend!
@@TollesonLife , you're right down the road from us! How long in Oregon? We're in southwest WA...are you making it up the 5 to WA? Staying in the northwest for the summer? Canada? Alaska?
@@mikemiura1289 Hey Mike, in Oregon for a couple of more weeks, then to Port of Washington and into BC….I think
@@TollesonLife ....did you two get caught in that ferocious windstorm last week? YIKES! Port of Washington? Where/What? Port of Long Beach, but where is Port of WA? BC......
We're finally heading out to Deer Park, Spokane, then Couer d'Alene then Polsons, MT. You're heading north, we're heading a little east! Hopeful of catching up with you two somewhere and taking a look at your coach. Love the colors on your bus. We have a Phaeton QBH, NASA paint, which we enjoy, but given a choice, how do you beat Fire Opal? Stunning. Stay safe!
@@mikemiura1289 awesome Mike, my info was bad, we are going to Port Angeles, not Port of Washington😂 hope you guys have a great trip!
Switch to a convertible car. Would make it easier to get out of. Excellent video. Happy you to see your crushing retirement! Be safe out there!
Great idea Matt!! Convertible! Appreciate you watching my friend.
So, you really -can- take it with you? Nice set up, Charleyhorse. Maybe see you again this summer! --Daddio
Thanks Daddio! Man I sure hope so, we plan to be out your way!
I grew up in camper vans and motorhomes, while towing a trailer full of dirt bikes. I'll be interested to see how you find it towing such a rig in the long run, and where you may have trouble with length. Hopefully I can follow your example, and there will be no issues.
I'm planning a similar set up myself late this year. My trailer will include a small shop area in the front cap instead of a bike though.
Happy trails!
Hey Kaylee! We have been all over the country and so far no issues. Just have to look a little "harder" sometimes for space that can accommodate our length.
That is a great trailer. I hope it doesn’t limit you too much as far as campgrounds. I’ll bet that scratch/dent really pissed you off, because I can see you really take care of your stuff.
Thanks dj16911. It limits us some but nothing we can't overcome. Yeah, it was frustrating, especially with it being the 1st day on the road. Appreciate ya watching!
Nice rig. You might check with your trailer dealer and see if an Escape Door can be installed in the area of your car door on the trailer. This way you open the trailer escape door then your car door will open through the escape door and you get out. Then you can shut both doors. I saw your rv park neighbor with bikes on top of the trailer. How do you get those on and off? Try that with your Harley LOL
Hey M/V Old School! I may do that in the future, appreciate the info. Just have to do the race car thing for a while :))
If you drive the car in first, can you climb out easier using the trailer door?
Have you considered the Biker Bar tie down system for the bike? Great setup by the way!
I sure have Sled, still thinking about it....Appreciate ya!
Wondering if the car tires line up with the trailer frame supports? Would not like tires on particle board without metal directly under them.
They line up pretty close FFL3801!
Man I was getting so much out of you guys videos I’m glad you got the new trailer and I’m sorry that somebody dented it already . So how are you gonna hold down all the antifreeze and other stuff you got ? Well have fun and be safe out there . You have any Sturgis videos coming out soon? 😎👍
Hey Steve! Yes we will have some Sturgis videos coming out so stay tuned! Right now, all of my storage bends are staying in place but will be improving it as I go forward. Thanks for watching.
What made you determined to go from the fifth wheel to the RV is one better than the other
Hey Kenny, since we were hitting the road full time for a while, we needed more storage space that didn't take away from the living space. The Class A provided that for us over the 5th wheel.
Figuring out how we want to bring our motorcycle with us is something we are working on too. I really like having my Jeep for exploring the out of the way areas and I don't think it would fit in a trailer. Leaning toward the the bike lift behind the motorhome with a 44ft tag for now
Yes sir that would work. Some friends we are traveling with on this trip have the same set up we do, they have a jeep but is the 2 door not the door.
Another video that is good always something a little different then other Rvers obviously you invested really well plus your pension to enjoy rest of your life an so many places to see in USA just keep videos coming an California strange another big shooting in California today
Thanks for watching Randall! Im really enjoying seeing the Country while I can....
Great. When are you guys going to take that mess to Fort Wilderness in Disney. It seems everytime you get a new set up you head down there. It's the whole reason I started watching in the first place. As a subscriber I'm feelin shorted. Great vids.
Hey yougear100! When we visit the Fort, the trailer will not be apart of the deal! LOL!! Appreciate you watching!
Looks liek you might be able to squeeze through the door of the car..Have you thought about cutting a pool noodle in half and taking it to the side of the trailer so you dont ding the door? Juat a thought. Trailer option looks like it works well for sure.
Hey Ryan, I thought about an "Escape" door but for now will just play race car driver...Appreciate you watching.
If you know ahead of time your going on a long trip where space is limited. Maybe a Moped and a Suzuki Sidekick an a small UHAUL. Just a crazy thought from James in Phenix City, Al. Safe travels.
Yes sir! Thanks for watching James!
Love the Hat Darryl, you and Clay are awesome. David doing good ?
Lol Ted! Yes sir, he is doing well my friend.
@@TollesonLife if you guys ever come to Va you have a free place to park and we are just east of skyline drive and the blue ridge parkway.
I was curious as well as many other People as to how you were going to haul Bike And tow vehicle, My concern was getting in-and-out of parks If I pulled a trailer like yours Now I just have to figure out how to haul my side-by-side I guess I'm wanting to take too many toys lol. If you would keep us informed of getting in-and-out of parks , that was my main concern Thanks for the great info And safe travels
Hey Ronald, yes sir I sure will. I can tell you I have been pleasently surprised how well the trailer tracks behind the Motorhome. I was concerned at first but man, its not been an issue....So far. Will try to capture more video of arriving and departing rv park in the future.
Are there brakes on both axels?
At a KOA I met a fella with a lift in his trailer. I believe he kept a little Alfa roadster on the top and a “daily driver” on the bottom.
Hey Rabbi! Yes, both axels and all 4 wheels have brakes on them. Sounds like he had a "stacker" trailer. We looked at those but out of my price range :) Appreciate ya watching as always!
Love this set up! Can’t believe someone scratched your new trailer 😡 how does that diesel do pulling everything? 👍🏼
Thanks Vince! I know right.....The 450 HP Cummins does great with it man, been on some steep mtns and its done great so far.
What's the diffents on milage with and without pulling the trailer with your toys ?
Hey Richard, Im still trying to figure that out, I'll let you guys know in the future. Just haven't checked it yet....may be out of fear. :)
Love the channel the question I have for you all is will you possibly color wrap the trailer to match your RV ?
Thank you Duane! Yes sir, we are looking at doing a wrap to match the RV down the road....Stay tuned!
@@TollesonLife that’s going to look amazing keep up the great content
We are in the process of setting up a similar rig. 39' mh w/20' extended tongue trailer. Think we may be crawling out the back door of our Jeep. Might I ask how wide your trailer is?
Awesome guys! Our trailer is 8.5 wide. Our friends next to us are able to open their jeep doors to exit so maybe you can as well. They have the same set up! All the best!
What motorcycle chock is that it looks like it might be easier to remove the bike
Hey Aubrey, that chock is called "Wheeldock", its worked well so far.
Terrific video. Thanks a lot. Allison and I are in the process of buying a 41ft 2017 Newmar Ventana. It's a tag axle and we're going through a lot of the same thought process that you guys are. We opted for a tag axle because it gives us the option of adding a lift for the Shark (my Road Glide Ultra). We're on the fence between the Hydralift and the Cruiserlift and are tending toward the Cruiserlift because it's not as much of a permanent addition as the Hydralift is. In your video you say that you discarded the idea of the lift because of weight. For us, we have a CCC of 9100lbs, and with the bike loaded and full tanks, that leaves us with 5500, which is more than the GD Momentum 376THS would have had empty. I'm really interested in how far you went down the road of looking at the lifts and whether it was more than just weight that caused you to opt out of that. Also, did you get to the point of deciding which lift you would choose if you went with one, and why?
So you know, your decision to switch to a Class A has been a big influence in our own decision to switch our plans from a GD Momentum to a Class A and we're really grateful for your perspectives that have really helped us. We'd love to meet up with you two sometime and I'd love to go for a ride with you.
Hey guys! Thanks for watching and hope the Newmar works out. They seem to be awesome rigs. I didn't look at the lifts to much after we weighed and figured where we would be with the lift so Im sorry I can't provide any good feedback on them. But with that Tag, you shouldn't have any issues :) Love to meet you guys down the road as well, all the best to y'all!
Do you secure the car to the D rings or just set the parking brake?
Hey KJRitch, I use both, paring brake and D Rings. So far it has worked well.
Wow that’s a huge trailer i like it👍but that nascar in and out wont fit whit me🤩😎 i am 2 old 4 that😂
Lol! Thanks for watching Achim!
Would you be willing to share exactly what parks you stayed in from Georgia to California? We will be driving a F450 towing a 40 ft toy hauler and i will be the navigator…. So need ideas please.
Lisa, can you shoot me an email at Tollesonlife@gmail.com...Be glad to share with ya.
did you have the BMW before the trailer or was it just what measured well for hauling in the trailer?
Hey Kyle, we purchased it before the trailer but it's the right size and weight for the set up thankfully.
Good idea. The trailer is going to limit your RV parks. But I guess it’s doable.
Yep, I agree, we have to look a little deeper but so far its all worked out! Thanks for watching.
Hey Daryl really nice setup I have a couple of questions how’s the maneuverability leaving and parking such a long rig when entering and leaving the RV parks backing in such a large rig must be tough do the the swing and I would imagine you try to stay clear of cities and #2 did you sell the chopper and the hummer? Just curious 🤨 good luck to you and wife on your travels
Hey Louis, I have really been surprised how well the trailer tracks behind the motorhome, much better than the 5th wheel did with the truck. I will try to get some more video of that so I can show ya. I did sell the chopper to a friend but have the H2 in storage for now. All the best my friend!
@@TollesonLife thanks Daryl and clay enjoy
What's the minimum HP you would recommend while pulling a trailer such as that? For instance, if you were hauling a vehicle and two motorcycles.
Hey Danny, you can get by with a 380hp as my friend did with his (his rig is in some of my videos) but he did put a chip in his 380 to move it to 450 hp which is what I have and would recommend. Hope that helps.
Big money 💰
Hey Bigdog Bulldog! Trying to enjoy this traveling while I'm young enough to do it my friend. :)
@@TollesonLife I hear you brotha, can’t take it with you ,might as well enjoy it ,I like your game plan 😁
It wouldn't be a problem using the bike lift and flat tow a vehicle if you had a Prevost bus conversion
I know right? One day…..
Could you put car in first and exit the front trailer door area?
Yes you could that, it would make the tongue weight excessive though, I like having most of the way to the car over the axles of the trailer.
I'm thinking you could probably back the BMW in and exit out of the car door easier with the side door of the trailer open. But you'll be moving the bike more often.
I actually tried that....didn't work out like I'd planned... :) It was a comedy show in the making......
Did you buy new Tiffin if so what dealer thank you.
Hey EW, we did purchase a Tiffin, its a 2020 model. The dealership was LaMesa RV in Orlando (Sanford) Fl.
