You guys are pulling a Choo Choo train! Hats off to you! You got guts! Safe travels!🙏🏻
😂👍🙌
We've towed our 24' then 26' enclosed race trailers behind all three of our coaches over the past 27 years. LOVED hauling the trailer around with the Jeep and Harley clean inside. About 5 years ago we sold the trailer and now only flat tow and leave the bike at home. For us it was because at 72' while great running down the road and I loved carrying my workshop with me, I found we were missing out on some really nice smaller RV parks/campgrounds that just coldn't accommodate our 72' length. Also when we hop, skip and jump from RV park to RV park it was easier to simply unhook the Jeep to go sightseeing vs. unloading from the trailer for a quick trip around town.
There are times however, that I miss taking the bike with us but don't miss the small out of the way places we are able to stay.
Love the videos.
Mike
Hey Zmotorsports! Thanks for sharing, sounds like you guys have covered it all! I agree with you on missing some of the Rv parks when traveling with a large sit up. It's just one of those give and takes that we are willing to do for now....All the best to you guys and safe travels.
Awesome guys!!! We are 40 ft and I think I have hit every curb from NM to Wyoming. You make it look easy. I retire soon and need to get a toad and watching this video helps a lot. Stay safe
Lol! I hear ya Rocky. Congrats on the pending retirement and thanks for watching.
Wow… I’ve taken 65’ long tractor-trailers through pine forest double track and backed into spots I didn’t think were possible. This? I don’t think I’d want to attempt - this is seriously impressive. It’s like taxiing a 747 through a McDonald’s drive-through…
What? Why?
Lol Hogdriver88! You could do it my friend!
Nice to see you Clay
Thanks Mark, Clay says thank you as well!!
You made that look easy
Thanks for watching S Keim!
Just purchased a New 2023 Tiffin 36UA. 38ft and we will be pulling our 4 door Jeep.
Congrats Hal!! Safe travels my friend!
Looks like you've got it down pretty good. I'm pulling a 24' stacker with a 45' Renegade Ikon.
Keep the rubber on the road and safe travels.
Wow! Would love to see that video! That is a serious set up Brian. Thanks for watching my friend.
You need to post a video of that! Love the ikon
Hey Darryl! Great video and love your set up! I’d love to see a video on your maintenance for that beast. For instance, how often you do oil changes, fuel filters etc and where you do it when on the road. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Hey Vince! I will look at trying to capture that when the time comes. Oil changes on this model is every 20,000 miles so its still a few months out before I hit that mark but will sure see what I can do when it comes. Thanks man!
So glad I found your channel, I'm getting a 35' Newmar New Aire 3549 shortly. Was concerned a little, as it's my first big RV ever, but I feel much better now, as it's 1/2 the length of what you guys are in ( 70' with both RV and trailer ). Can't wait to go full time, you guys are an inspiration. 👍
Hey Jeremiah! Glad you found us and congrats on the future Newmar! Let me know when you pick it up!
Will be 52ft this weekend wish me luck. 30ft Coachmen + 22ft Trailer with a 4 door Rzr and a tiny 170 Rzr. Slow and steady. Thanks for the great video.
My rig is a 1996 Itasca Suncruiser Class A
You guys are living the dream
🙌🙌
You guys are great! One of the reasons we started our channel. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Gravley Train!! Best of luck with the channel!
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching guys!
Takes a little better planning and choosing RV Parks. Great job. Really enjoy your videos
Thanks D Branch! Thats been our experience too, just have to look and plan a little better but so far so good! Appreciate you watching!
Vey cool. Good Job!
Appreciate it Keith!
Great to see Clay!
Great video 😀
Thank you Paula! Clay says thank you as well!
Just make sure u get out an look, when backing into a spot.
Yes indeed Priscilla!
What an AWESOME VIDEO! Not often RV Vloggers share what it is like to maneuver their rig! Thanks for sharing you experience!
Glad you enjoyed it Vance!
Excited to maneuver my 68’ rig. (2006 Phaeton QSH 40’ + 24’ enclosed. You make it look easy!
Awesome Pizza Stop Preston! All the best to ya, you'll be fine my friend!
We spent this past winter with our 67’ rig. It takes planning and determination.
Yes sir Rick! We find that to be the case as well.
we bought an 8.5x20x8 enclosed car hauler on our way home from Fl a month ago to haul the BMW with and we LOVE it!!! our 07 damon 40 footer doesnt even know that trailer is behind us !!
Awesome Nichole! Safe travels to you guys!
Excellent video motorman! Keep it up. Proud of your work on your channel!
Appreciate my ol friend!
Well done. Driving 70ft rig does require planning. But, it's Well worth it when bringing a garage with Toys when camping. We wouldn't have it any other way.
Hey guys! I agree, so far so good with our experience and glad we decided to get the trailer. Hope all is well in KC!
Grey, drippy weather in the spring....you must be in the northwest!!!! Nice video, camera action, commentary. I don't think anyone has captured this part of driving with a trailer. Continued happy and safe travels! To a relaxed Mom's Day to Clay!
You are right Mike! Oregon and Washington, has rained almost every day. Thanks for watching my friend and Clay says Thank you!
Those are some mad driving skills. Makes my 52' land train look like a walk in the park. Great video, Thank you!
Lol! Thanks for watching John!
We got our rig together and took our 1st road trip with the trailer on Easter weekend. Put a tape measure on it and we are 64' 1" with our 20' extended tongue trailer, which is good because the legal limit in our home state is 65'. By the way we can back our Jeep YJ into the trailer and get the door open to get in and out. We do expect to need to unhook the trailer in some of the parks we like. Safe travels.
That's awesome Rollin With The Davises! Glad you don't have to do the NASCAR move to get out of the Jeep! Our next video will be us doing just that, unhooking the trailer to fit in the RV site! All the best!
Some serious skills involved!!
Appreciate you watching Motoramblings!
wow great for you living the dream... Tomorrow our group of 8 are riding from Cincinnati Ohio to peigon forge Tennessee. for six days of riding. you guys stay safe and enjoy life!!!
Man, I sure wished I was going with you guys! Sounds like a great trip! Safe travels and hope you let me know how it goes!!
That’s pretty sick. I’m flat towing a Ford Fiesta 5sp. manual, that weighs 2400 lbs. Thor FRED Maxxforce 7 V8 Turbo Diesel. 10mpg.
Gotta be pretty pleased with 10mpg, right?
@@TollesonLife Yeah, 10 is good, but the ride is rough, especially around cities. We were looking at some Tiffins and Newmar then biden wrecked the economy. Our next needs a bedroom slide, 22.5 in wheels, and air ride.
Great video.
Thank you TechGuy!
Nice. You guys were by me, I live in Stockton just 10 miles from LODI. JUST WAY to big for me. Good Looking.
Thanks Tim, we actually went into Stockton one day to meet some family.
Your F450 and toyhauler were just as long as your present combo.
Which to do like better ? Your Tiffin and the trailer or your F450 and toyhauler ? The comparison of the two would make a great video.
The 5th wheel and truck were great, but I prefer the Tiffin set up, even at this length, the trailers tracks much better behind the motorhome than the 5th wheel did behind the truck.
Great video as usual. Thanks for answering my question.
Very welcome Mike! Still in your Tiffin?
Nice Video.
Thanks Derrick!
Tolleson Life and BellsRides Tour of 2022 !! Coming to a town near you!
Gorgeous setups each of you have. Looks so intimidating driving those big rigs. But you, Andy, and Bell make it all look so easy. 👍🏻 👍🏻
Hey BD Rider! Thank you my friend, appreciate you watching!
I tow 64 feet in living in California, and it just takes careful planning. Never had any issues, cant wait to cross those state lines.
Thanks for sharing Soul Smoove! Safe travels my friend.
Slow is Pro 👍🇺🇸
I agree Panhandle Trains!
As always, enjoyed the video! Still looking forward to seeing the new rig.
Thank you Chuck!!
You make it look easy I would be stressed. Stay safe I miss the group motorcycle rides with your club members.
Hey Dave, we appreciate you watching. I miss those group rides too man. Hope to do one later this year. We do have some smaller rides coming up though so stay tuned my friend.
Awesome videos and Thanks for sharing with Viewers. Very informative!
Thanks for watching Miramar DIS!
I’d love to do this but we home base is British Columbia Canada and they will only allow 19 meters 63’3”.
Understand Andy.
It was a great video
Appreciate it Donald!
I don’t live but and Hour from Red Bay. I really like you choice on the motor home. I’ll continue to watch your videos. Thanks for responding.
@@donaldrussell2961 Thanks for watching Donald! May get by Red Bay later this year for some annual service.
Great job! Can’t wait to see more, be safe
Thanks for watching JD!
Darryl is SO cool. When I grow up (I’m 48), I want to have a motorhome just like that, and be as happy and carefree as Darryl.
But I’m a broke, depressed, worry-wart.
Make it happen my friend👍
Great navigating, love the camera angles.
Thank you Michael! Appreciate you watching!
👍🤩⭐️🏆🏅Dude! OMG! Wow! Excellent! You (and Andy) handled everything awesomely! The only thing everyone at the RV Parks can say is 😳 “daaaang”. 😳
…..And how do you keep the rigs sooooo clean? Wishing you all the absolute beat.👍💝
Thank you LovingAtlanta!! Appreciate you watching!
Nice Rig driver, Living large for sure !
Lol! Thank you Earl!!
Very nice rig. Lots of hardware going down the road..
Appreciate ya Tom, yes sir its a lot to consider but so far we have really enjoy the experience. Thanks for watching.
Awsome👍
Appreciate ya Campervan Calvin!
Awesome video nicely done thanks for sharing with us 👍
Very welcome Howard, appreciate you watching.
Awesome! Now what about backing that beast up???
Hey George, next weeks video is about that very topic! Backing and unhooking to fit in the RV site so stay tuned!
It appears that y’all are living the DREAM! Excellent video.
Thank you so much Preacher Moto Man! Did you change the name of your Channel?
@@TollesonLife Ive changed it a couple of times. I think I finally settled on a name.
@@Preachermotoman I like it sir!
@@TollesonLife thanks!
I just flat tow a Honda Pilot. I'm 64' long. I usually don't stay in RV parks and just dry camp in the forest and BLM about 90% of the time.
Thanks for sharing Timaz!
Great video brother, Andy and I love our Power Glide Chassis. Not only does it have a great turning radius but the ride down the road is so smooth. Looking for to next weeks video, it definitely is a little tighter than the KOA.
Thanks Bell! That chassis is awesome and makes it doable while handling our 70ft rigs!
Hi guys! Just found your channel. We also have the identical 24' V-nose trailer. I have my 2003 Electraglide Classic in the front chock and our Jeep Wrangler. Plus my Honda Ruckus buckled off the spare tire. I forgot to mention that our coach is a American Coach Eagle 45E. Yes, 45'. I have measured from bumper to bumper and I am exactly 75 foot long.
Welcome aboard Kevin! Glad you guys are rolling and enjoying your set up! Sounds like you guys should be doing this video :)
I believe the RV park you were at in Lodi CA was called Flag City RV Park. On I-5 and Hwy 12 in Lodi. Been there many times and what you called it was not quite the name of the place. Great video though..
You are correct Rob! Not sure what I was thinking, just played the video back and cracked up at myself of how wrong I got it. Appreciate you watching.
@@TollesonLife Was funny, I was watching that part of the video and we have stayed in a couple of the spots you had passed on your way out so I thought it looked kind of familiar.
I definitely know this feeling. It’s imperative to know the routes you are going even going through city streets can be a nightmare. My rig is also 40ft but my trailer is 28ft v nose. I am also looking into a 360 camera for my trailer as well as the rig. A powered trailer dolly is also on the list as well so I don’t have to use the coach to park the trailer in other parking spaces… Also I have found when making right turns people tend to try to pull in the space beside you when making the tight turn..
Thanks for sharing Darrell! Like the idea of that powered trailer dolly!
Hi whatcha up to hope all is well hugs prayers 4 healing and unspoken also prayers 4 everyone and bless great healthy peaceful safe journeys travels and happy camping in the name of the Creator God and Jesus and Holy Spirit Amen much honor and respect keep walking tall have fun 4 me too keep on keeping on like ur videos also just lil advise since yall keep yall's trlrs on ur rigs all the time I would put a small amount of grease tip top of the ball on the hitch just where the trlr rides and rests on the ball and always chk ur ball make sure they r secure and tight to the receiver also always chk yall's receiver hitches all the components too as well as trlrs and trlr whls and hubs make sure their is not one more hot than the others and barring maintenance is a must and axles when yall do ur pre trip chks when ever yall stop and at fuel stops also tire pressure is very important part make they r not maxed out however just low enough 4 them to expand say within few lbs or so so they can expand when driving however not to low if u air them up with air however that's my personal opinion tho many blessings safe travels keep walking tall

👍👍💪🙂👍👍
Thank you Thunder Rode!
Great video. We travel in our 45 foot Entegra Anthem and tow our 4 door Jeep since 2015. Seems like it is harder to find good places to stay lately. Safe travels
@Vegastravelers
Hey Jim, thanks man and appreciate you watching. All the best to you and safe travels as well my friend!
Happy Mother's Day ✝️
Clay sends her Thank you Thomas336!
This is impressive and great angles to show everything! I’m curious, how long do y’all stay at each rv park? - Amy
Hey Amy, it really depends....Some for a month at a time, some only for a week. I like the 2 week stays, gives us time to visit the area and then move to the next area.
Man that is a beast. Great tips on handling all that.
Appreciate ya Frosty!
@@TollesonLife loving your travel video. You guys take care now.
@@Frostytravels thanks bro!!👍🙌
Really enjoying your content and appreciate your self-critique. Thanks. What is the tongue length on your trailer?
Thank you! That is a 6 ft tongue.
Hey looking good. ....you. are doing great job driving....stay to the right and you will always come out better we just left Houston last race I'm just shy of 74feet my trailer has spread exiles we racers will sayl they track better......enjoy video be safe take care...
Hey Ron! Thanks man, what do you guys race?
Excellent video! I assume a Thousand Trails Membership wouldn’t accommodate your setup for the most part?
Hey Rick, I'm not sure. We have never stayed at any of the Thousand Trails Parks before. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
🔥🔥🔥 safe traveling wishes to y’all
Thank you so much ECC!
Brave 😃👍🚌🇺🇸 We are 40 feet including tow car -but that is all we need -Ya I think a big trailer would terrify us a little 🤣
Thanks for sharing Mary!
Hope you two made it to Joseph, Oregon and Wallawa Lake. They call it the little Tetons. DJ (Central, OR)
Hey dj16911, we didn't make it there. Maybe on the next run to Oregon! :)
Ours tows a 34’ trailer all the time…about 20 lb trailer
Awesome Jimmy! How long is your Rv?
Great video. I'm thinking of doing the same with a Super C.
Thanks Jimmy! Love those Super C's.
I have driven most everything from motorcycles to fire trucks (really) to OTR Big Rigs and this looks scary. Not sure I would want to do it everyday but your planning makes it look, well, not so scary! ;-) Keeps up the great videos.
Thanks Michael! Its worked out so far :)
I’m guessing the v nose helps with maneuvering?
Towing the equivalent of two brick and mortar houses.
Lol! Probably right JohnathanH!
My elbows hurt thinking about all the wax on wax off! I would use the trailer for employee quarters. 68 ft use to be the legal overall length, have you been stopped and measured?
I hear ya Scott! We haven't been stopped for (any reason) thankfully. Most state are falling between 65-75 feet with one or two 60 ft and one is even 55ft. So far so good!
I love your setup! I’ve always wanted to go that same route, but I always figured it would be impossible to find RV parks that could accommodate something that big. I currently pull a 44’ toy hauler similar to the one you had before and that can be challenging at times.
Thanks Michael! So far it has worked out for us. Sounds like you have a good set with the toy hauler. What are you pulling it with?
@@TollesonLife I’ve been pulling with a Ram 3500 dually. It pulls it really well! However, my wife and I are wanting to go back to a motor home. Same reasons you’ve listed. Anyway, I love your channel! You and your wife are doing a fantastic job! Thank you for doing what you do!
@@freewayfuzz8160 Got it! Thanks guys we appreciate ya!
LMFAO! This voice over sounds like those voice overs you hear on the ridiculous ghost hunter shows. Killer looking rigs with great trailers, but that voice over is so silly. LOL
Lol! Hey Croz 1007! Thanks for watching and the feedback my friend.
@@TollesonLife I think you have a killer voiceover voice, but it is pretty damn intense for this video..unless that was the vibe you were going for. HA! Checking out more of your videos for sure.
@@007KrausBean 🙌👍Hey, I always appreciate any feedback but I wanted to try and make what is a “simple” some what slow video more entertaining👊😝
Well at least it’s good that you guys can travel along with Bell and her husband makes a lot easier when you guys have some to travel with but there are some motorhome places that are really tight to get into I Heard don’t some of them have limits on the trailer and everything like 50 feet tops? Anyway looks like you’re having lots of fun out there to say safe and stay dry. 😎👍
Hey Steve! Yes, we had to unhook on our latest Rv park so that does happen sometimes. In fact that will be the topic of next weeks video so stay tuned my friend.
I don’t think I could do that pulling a trailer and would be a nervous wreck
I was hesitant to go with a trailer. Now, knowing how well it all handles it really is pretty easy. Thanks for watching.
Great Video!! Was interested in knowing how the 450 Cummings handles it? I would guess you would feel it but I'm sure it does pretty good !
Hey Danny, the 450 does a great job with the 8500lbs behind us. I can tell its there (not from the ride) just from the acceleration but no problems, been very impressed with how well it has handled the set up.
Great video, thought about a getting a trailer, but for now we pull a jeep. BTW, what in Lodi, CA is that again?
Hey Mnm and the Gang, we were in Flag City Rv Park in Lodi. Appreciate you watching!
Thank you Sir, This was really good.. Gives me a good idea of what I'm going to be dealing with once we pick up our trailer.. I will be headed to Red Bay in a few months, I'll know for sure how trailering works out for us. Thanks for sharing.
Sure thing my friend. All the best!
We will be in Red Bay in a few months as well, we stay at 1st class glass. Where did you find a trailer? All the places that I have called none are in stock, but they can make one that will not be available 6-18 months out, and they cannot guarantee prices on all aluminum trailer. I was hoping to have one in time for the Tiffin rally.
@@rvdivaa2334 My better half found it on Facebook sales.. It is being sold by the family of a gentleman who passed. The only issues is its in Maine which is a little bit of a hike from where we are.
@@RedJaguar100Travels Thank you so much a reason to visit Maine have not been there yet, because I heard the roads and bridges are low in places even with rv gps, so we have been apprehensive to visit. In fact, last time I was in Red Bay, I met a lady that was there getting her roof an new AC’s because of miss calculating a bridge in Maine and took them completely off, she said she got lucky because when the trooper showed up, he felt sorry for her and did not ticket her. Thanks I will check Facebook market place!
@@rvdivaa2334 Yup, I've heard the stories and you must do your homework when traveling to Maine. But I guess that's better then the poor guy we met at Red Bay last September who had his 2021 Zephyr rear cap hit by a trucker at a Pilot travel center.. The trucker forgot to set his brake and wasn't paying attention.. Heart Breaking!! Good luck finding a trailer, I would be curious on how you make out..
Have you been to any campground or anywhere that there was an issue? I don't know if I would want to do it Darryl !
Hey Matt, nothing that we didn't expect ahead of time due to researching the park etc....Next weeks video will show how we had to unhook the trailer so we could fit in the RV site so stay tuned. (We knew that before we arrived)
How does it fair with backing up or repositioning?
Traveling big rig vs motorhome how well does your rig tow we have a Class a as well looking for a trailer similar
👍🏾
Thanks Rickey!
Have you guys thought about more lights or reflection tape on your trailer to get better vision for turns and people can see the trailer after the rv turns so you didn't get hit just asking thx
No we haven't Randall, but thanks for the tip, may look at that. Appreciate you watching.
When backing in a camp site, where do you leave your trailer?
If we have to drop the trailer the location is arranged with the park prior to arriving or else we don’t book with that park.
How much does that thing cost?
Are you ever turned away from RV parks or campgrounds because of the length of your Class A ? Would you if your Class A was a 45 foot tandem ?
Hey TechGuy, no but we always plan and book ahead of time to ensure that the park can handle our size rigs. That way we don't get "surprised" when we arrive.
Thanks for the video! Have you tried to back up with the trailer attached?
Yes we have Matt! Next weeks video will provide some insight!! Stay tuned.
Can you tell me where you stayed in Lodi, CA? Sounded like you said Sky Park but the closest I can find in the Lodi Area is FlagCity?
Hey J C, the park in Lodi is actually called Flag City RV as you mentioned. Sorry I got that wrong.
Very helpful video! Thank you. We just purchased a 43 Monaco with a tag axle and 425hp Cummins. We’ll be getting a 27’ enclosed trailer to haul our shovelhead , jeep and side by side to Phoenix from Oregon. Curious how your power plant manages the steep hills and long grades with you trailer? Also have you used a weight distribution hitch for your set up? We’ll be maxed out at 10k pounds on our trailer. Thanks again for the video 👍
Congrats on the Monaco! I have been very pleased with the 450 hp cummins and how it handles long, steep inclines. Especially if you get a decent "run" at them :) Haven't used the weigh distribution hitch, may look into that, thanks for the info.
With just a single rear axle, are you relying more on trailer brakes or does the rigs breaks do the lions share?
Hey James, the rig's air brakes are very good and do most of the work for sure.
Hey Chief nice enjoyable video. Can you share your camera setup system?
Thanks Bruce! For this video just a couple of Go Pros (7 & 8) and the insta 360 on the dash.
@@TollesonLife I researched the 360 and it's a nice device to add to my business. Thanks
@@BruceOnLocation Very good Bruce, it takes a little practice with editing but the more I do it the more I love it! All the best!
Like others have been looking for this type of information. Question...What is the overall length of your trailer...back of trailer to tip of tongue?
Hey David, the trailer is a total of 29 feet from tip of tongue to the back of the trailer. (Has a 5 ft tongue)
@@TollesonLife Thank you for the feedback, it is very much appreciated...I find it odd that searches about car haulers never seem to speak to the overall length. Have been watching your channel for some time now; really enjoyed your Black Hills journey some time back. Looking forward to more content.
@@davidgagnon9240 Very welcome David, I found that the tongues typically come in 4, 5 & 6 feet in length. I'm told for towing behind a motorhome you want at least a 5ft tongue. We appreciate you watching man!
Did the trailer tongue have to be redesigned?
No sir, it is a 5 ft tongue though.
what highway speeds do you run at ? how to cross winds affect you ?
I usually travel around 60-65 max. Not issues with cross winds, mainly because we have hot any that was significant.🤞
Any problem with length laws?
No issues, we were about 5 feet over in some states, no problems.👍
