Actually the best option is to use indvidual presets MR1, MR2 and MR3 which saves time. I dont need to change settings all the time. I have 23.976 on MR1, 59,94 on MR2 and 119,88 on MR3.
All set with proper shutter speed, codec and settings I use. You can have completely different settings signed to each preset depending on your needs with just one button.
That's very similar to how mine is set up. MR1: S-LOG 24P, MR2: S-LOG 60P, MR3: S-Cinetone 24p.

Sent my A7iv in for repair (9wk) to return 👀.. so I went out and got FX3..I learn as I go.. but two things I learned yesterday. 1 was to program a button for gama assist and 2 MF/AF button as well as FX3 is missing that toggle button 🙏🏽👍🏽💪🏾

thanks was looking why its greyed out on my FX30!! im sure in the beginning it was available. So when shooting in Video mode, its okay when its greyed out right? because its SLOG3 with the cine ei
Exactly that! It’s okay to have picture profile grayed out on video mode as long Slog 3 is turned on :)

What lens do you use with the fx30 and which one in this video?
For talking heads: 16mm 1.4 Sigma with 1/8 Black pro Mist
For street Videography: 50mm 1.8
Wny does my FX 30 show 59.94p, 23.98p and 119.88p and not 60, 24 and 120? I'm in NTSC mode and have no idea why it's showing that way or how to change it.
23.976 is movie industry standard in Hollywood. UK uses 24.000 and rest of the Europe 25.000. These framerates are related to to the electric current frequency. If not used correctly you will get flickering when filming with artificial light.
Make sure to adjust the timeline in video editing software to 23.976 if shoting in 23.976, 59.94 if shooting in 59.94 etc. to avoid framerate problems and potential audio sync problems.

lol I actually found myself in this situation with a camera rental..took me some time to figure it out..there is also a weird options where u find yourself with 50p and 100p and no 24/25p/30p lol. Ah the wonders of sony settings ;)

The Why is complicated.. I’m still learning it. Basically in different parts of the world, 24fps isn’t the standard like it is here in NA. The standard is 25fps. And instead of 60 and 120fps, it’s 50 and 100fps in these regions. Now the reason has to do with the refresh rates and electric currents / frequencies (hertz) involved in a TV’s ability to display the image. I can’t explain more than that, but you should learn more if you’re gonna be working with cameras.. it’s also just good general knowledge
Edit: I forgot to say - The names of these TV color systems are NTSC (North America) and PAL (other various regions).
So you had your camera set to PAL, rendering you only able to use 50fps and 100
I shoot both slog3 when i have time and no slog3 no PP when i dont want to color grade the straight out of camera color is amazing

My Dear Jamine this camera is for video professional is not like other as A7siii I plan to buy it soon for my project I have a question this screen is touch screen too,.
If you are planning to use this camera for content creation only is super okay too, the menu is very easy to move around and yes, it is touch screen

@@dennyyohanes8677 Yes there’s is, you can use all photo settings normally as it would be in a hybrid camera. The only think it doesn’t have is the multiple clicks setting

@@dennyyohanes8677 yes it does not have a mechanical shutter so photos in bad lighting will result in flicker and if in movement; result to some jellow effect else i just think that its the same sensor as the rumored sony a6700 without the overheating LOL.
