Was this shot on Cine EI or Flexible Iso? And how did you expose that indoor shot at 0:18? What was the MM at?
Flexible Iso but I keep it at 800. I exposed it to the outside light in the window. MM at 24mm on a cropped sensor

This is a nice video! I like your sharing about FX30, i just get mine. Before FX30, i am using 6400 and still i kept it until now I do went for 4k 10 bit 4:2:2 shooting and hell yeah the file size was huge and my iPad cannot preview it natively, haha So mostly i am doing 8 bit now, i mostly shoot for vertical video content too so it doesnt need that 10bit at least for me right now, but this is a great camera for futureproofing!
Hi so beautiful video. I just have one question, i see many pros doing a great work during rains, but how to protect the lil buoy (camera) from the the rain water. I mean whats the hack…. I want to but i am afraid 😢
There’s lot of accessories you can find on amazon to protect your camera in the rain, there’s also DIY’s you can make at home to protect it :)

Can I ask a question to some awesome knowledgeable commenter here? I’m super confused about something…. I have an FX30. To shoot in log, I understand I how to change it in “log settings,” yada yada yada. But what’s the deal with Picture Profile via Exposure menu? Can’t I also shoot in log going this route? When I change to log shooting in log settings, picture profile is greyed out. Is picture profile just so you can plug in an additional monitor? Can someone explain this to me? Sorry for being a dingbat. 🙏🙏
Yeah, don’t worry I had the same questions popping into me once I got this camera. You can shoot in Log following the Log shooting or Picture Profile route. The “Log shooting” route is something that is built in on camera and is the route I prefer, also the one I’m showing here on the video. There’s lots of Picture Profile routes tutorials here on RUclips, and it is basically by letting the “Log shooting” off and just managing it over the picture profile by adjusting settings. I prefer going for something that is how it was planned to used on this camera but heavy Sony users prefer the OG way. You can always use whatever feels better for you :)
