As a drummer are you kidding me.....!!! The fills that Eloy does, especially live is insane. Don't get me wrong I am not putting someone on a pedestal.BecauseI have my own beats, and style. But what I can say, is like the other comments below. Eloy won the drummer of the year award before he was 18. They gave away 2 awards that time. That kid, now a monster after teaming up with Sepultura. He has taken the music and filled it to where he is always at a fast pace. Doing rolls with splashes at the same time a double beat on the the bass. The guy is fast and precise. As a drummer I really like seeing him play. I got backstage one time. There are those that say you can't be really fast on double bass without double bass. Some drummers say it's the response off the head, etc etc etc. Eloys setup sometimes with a double bass but the left one (if your in the throne) he does not play. He uses a double pedal on one bass drum. He truly rips it. After the show there was so many shavings of drumstick on the ground that if there was any type of heat the whole set would have gone up. Thumbs up Eloy. Keep playing hard!

Too bad all those ghost notes on the snare are not heard. I'd like to hear the beat without the rest of the music just to hear exactly the groove he's playing, cause it sounds fantastic even though I can't hear them.
curto metal mas nao sou muito apegado com bandas (historia,integrantes etc.) econheci esse ai hoje (14/05/2017),e tirei uma conclusao aki,SEPULTURA SO TEVE MONSTRO DAS BATERA ,Igor EU acho ele tem uma pegada mais trash na adrenalina memo, jean um pouco mais tecnico mas com adrenalina muuito forte, eloy com um equilibrio de trash e tecnico mais visivel mas como os dois primeiros, uma adrenalina da porra,resumindo foda-sese é trash ou tecnico,a adrenalina quem é manja dos parauê,so batera monstro meu😨 \m/ \m/\m/
Much prefer his style than the new young guy. Eloy is all over the map and quite frankly just a plain boring drummer. I also like Jean's take on Igor's older Sep tracks. Sad to see him go.
