Dear Dave,Excellent drumming, man! I used to play with a full set of Paiste RUDEs back in the early 80s. I was the first drummer in the Bay Area punk scene to have them, and everyone was impressed by their fiery sound and raw volume. Black Flag's Bill Stevenson once asked me to borrow some of them right after I had got off stage and was packing them up. I'm afraid I told him to get lost, and he was very disappointed about that. Sorry Bill. I eventually broke them all apart from a 15" hi-hat bottom and my 22" Ride/Crash - the first one I bought back in 1983 - which I still have! That cymbal has real sentimental value to me, and is my most treasured possession, after my dad's watch. Sal (ex- Sick Pleasure/Code of Honor - San Francisco)

He is the best because of his sheer talent and attitude, even if he was getting ripped off, he did it for the fucking LOVE of music - so much respect for this man.
These guys survived times when other bands were choked out of existence. I think they're one of the best metal bands ever, and think they should be inducted into the Hall of Fame if they haven't already been.
I never get tired of watching this, i love how he looks so happy, the little smiles at the camera, like hey! I wish i was that happy at my job, lol...He kills it every time, the fn best!
I feel like Dave went all out on this last tour the big 4 DVD was tremendous
i watch this everyday to get motivated !
Sal (ex- Sick Pleasure/Code of Honor - San Francisco)
this is the guy that slayer are missing. bostaph is good, but dave is unreal.
he doesnt have the single one qualification that it takes to play in Slayer. and that is the solo double bass part in Angel Of Death. He cant play it live.

Amazing. Cool to see and hear a different part of the show.
Without doubt he's the finest drummer ever to walk the planet. No lombardo, no slayer. legend.
Finest METAL drummer, yes. Drummer? No.
True sign of a drummer truly enjoying what he does, with that big ass cheeser grin!!!
When I am in a bad mood I watch this video and just by watching Daves passion and fun while drumming I begin to smile.
The Best Drummer and Band of the world .
Definitely my favorite drummer ever
Only in my dreams will I ever be as good or even close to the level of this Drumming God!
This makes me so happy, love this guy , he was so important to Slayers sound,
You the man Dave, you are respected more than your supposed brothers in Slayer. And thanks to you and Neil Peart for inspiring me to play the drums.
I don’t know if I saw a hint of a smile there, Dave, but if I did, I adore you even more ❤️ Simply the best and what a joy to watch!

You're the greatest, Dave! First saw you play live in Vegas, Jan '85. You've been amazing this guitarist since then. best wishes.
When I see how good Lombardo is...it's baffling how Araya & King did him so dirty. 😡 Really effed up.
