I am really enjoying your content! I’m early in the game, having not started nursing school yet (🤞🏼april 2024). I’m glad your k-12 homeschool experience was better than my k-12 homeschool experience 🫠
Very much enjoyed you and Chrissy's CCA episode on research-based study techniques!! Would love an in-depth video on the best tactics for your classes that require pre-reading. That's always been my least favorite thing about any schooling because I just get so bored with the textbooks, and it's hard for me to stay focused and retain info without feeling like I need to take 17 years to take notes on it all. Thanks for all you do!!
My son is an MD and only has a few more weeks of his fellowship! It's been a long road. Anyways, his MD program was basically all self guided learning during the first 3 years.. You not only had to be a good student, but you had to be highly motivated and a self learner using a multitude of resources and literature. It was not easy and he studied all the time. He lost 30% of his class that he started with. Students gave up, gave in or realized they didn't want to do the work. Good luck with your studies! (Former NICU nurse here).
I've been watching your videos non-stop since last week. My first dream was always to be a writer, then own my own business, and become CRNA. I am applying to an an accelerated program this week, hoping to start next year January 2024 (due to personal reasons). I first thought about becoming a CRNA when I was 19-20. I'm 32 now and if I stay on track, I'll be starting CRNA school when I'm 34 or 35. I wish I started earlier but I spent most on my 20s focusing on working full time while also writing. Congratulations on a strong semester
Can you please elaborate on the 83% class average? Does that mean that your final grade in the end of the class needs to be at least an 83%? Or it needs to consistently stay at an 83% or above throughout the term/semester?
At my program it means we need to finish the class with an 82% average-there usually aren't other assignments outside of exams in the core classes so for us it's an 82% average by the end of the semester based on exam scores

Your son sounds like a hard worker! I wish him well. And thanks!

Welcome ! Anesthesia is absolutely worth it in your 30s & 40s-keep up the strong work! And thank you 🙏🏻

27k for the whole year??!! Wild. That's great to know.
Happy CRNA week!
Yeah definitely an adjustment from travel nursing! All a part of the process!
These classes could've been taken online lol or before you entered the program.
The first 6 months are structured to allow SRNAs to continue working, it's the last 30 months that are full time :)
How old are you?
27 :)
