  • This is one of the many descriptions of the famous turboencabulator, a machine devised by Chrysler, General Electric, and Rockwell Automation, among others in the 1940s through 1960s. Many saw it as a technical marvel that could change babies diapers and revolutionize motor design. First publicized by the British Institution of Electrical Engineers Students’ Quarterly Journal in 1944, this machine struck a chord with many readers.
    [RE-UPLOAD WITH BETTER AUDIO]
If you're still scratching your head trying to figure it out, the turboencabulator was an inside joke between engineers in the 1940s that used technobabble to confuse those not in on the foolery - and it was a completely made up machine.
The gag slowly gained traction in the mid-1940s and in 1946, a US publishers started picking up on the fanfare of the amazing machine. Time magazine published an article in May of 1946 titled, "An adjunct to the turbo-encabulator, employed whenever a barescent skor motion is required," which only widened the scope of this massive technical joke.

Many locations using this device ceased operations due to excessive amounts of dihydrogen monoxide that it produced.

Even the hardiest of people in world can only survive 120 years after first exposure. Once you touch the stuff, you're practically the walking dead. One of my friends nearly died when he fell into a pool of that stuff...

If you take out the sub-gyrometric contraradial waneshaft, flip it and reverse it, reinstall it into the unit, and then turn the whole thing off and on again, it will being to emit large quantities of monomethylhydrazine and dinitrogen tetroxide

@@InventorZahran oh wow! that sounds like a big breakthrough! do you know who discovered that, and is it patented? i know quite a few applications where skor motion and unilateral phase detractance are required while operating in high thrust applications, this could provide a massive boost to efficiency!

Little known fact....dihydrogen monoxide is the cause of climate change. If we fail to rid our planet of this stuff, surely we will all die (Yes, we all will die, and don't call me Shirley).

LOL. In the beginning, he forgot to mention the pre-tensioned sluice gate torsion bar pinion and its ingenious coupling with the double involute eccentric SemiGeneva mechanism cam which in turn drove the elliptical stator regulator. Genius.

One solution may be to attach the wane shaft to the stationary end of additional bourdon tubes, connecting up to an amulated aneroid gauge so that curtailment *does not* denudate the assembly.

I think I'll keep the old one with the hand crank since it has enough wear and the lowered compression makes starting much easier and the 9-volt battery is still reliable. They can come and update it when times get better, which is doubtful.

This reminds me of JBL audio systems spoof product The Rearaxial Softspeaker for which JBL actually published an official looking brochure complete with spoof drawings. At a ham radio convention back in the late seventies I attended a presentation by Signetics on their new digital storage memory chip that they called the WOM, the Wrote Only Memory and I was actually able to get one of the spoof data sheets and an actual physical sample of the chip which had realistic looking markings on it that you would expect to see from a chip manufacturer including the amusing marking ‘NFG’.

Electro-voice also had a competitive Rearaxial Softspeaker which I have heard compared to the JBL.
When used with a Compact Disk, mp3, wav, or controlled with Dual Differential Mercury/Fluorine Optical Sensors, sound reproduction using a Vynil Based Format is quite good, unless ambient lighting is adversely effective due to higher humidity.
In my opinion, the Electro-voice Rearaxial Softspeaker is still Superior to the JBL version... but, like Vynil Formats, the E-V is difficult to find, Service and outrageously Expensive.
Where I live, I would bet there's not a Commercial E-V Charging Station within 100 miles, so I am still stuck since I accidentally sold my old E-V to some dude named Elon on eBay!
... Man, how I miss those Silky Woolen Lows and the WOW of those Highs!
What do you think I should do...?

Due to a parts shortage, the Panametric Fam is actually on backorder, and unfortunately my Parts Department does not have an ETA on receiving the parts needed to repair your Hydrocoptic Marsilvains. I hate that you're in this position right now, and I wish I could help, but the Lotus O'Delta production line has shutdown during the pandemic and are only recently resuming assembly. Once we can get restocked from the manufacturer, I will make sure we can install your Gurdle-Saforementioned Panametric Fam. I appreciate your understanding in these unprecedented times.

This just popped up in my feed. I only recently learned about this recently. An atheist youtuber said he’s no longer an atheist and said the excessively loquacious theists finally convinced him because of advancements made by the turbo encabulator.
It was pretty funny and obvious what he was doing. But then I learned there was more to it and fell down the turbo encabulator rabbit hole. I realized it was an old meme. Hadn’t realize it went back quite that far.

Encabulators are great and all, but for the past few decades, all the _really_ interesting innovations have been in the realm of vx. And thanks to the vxjunkies community, it's far more accessible to the home-gamer, if you don't happen to have access to a nicer rig through your university engineering department or if you happen to work for a small subset of government contractors. It's dangerous stuff though, so be sure to read the faqs before attempting to get anywhere near 3 orders of magnitude of delta >= 0.

You think it's a joke until you are struggling to figure out how to stabilize side fumbling by manually de-polarizing the magnetic fluxuator with your primitive manual dingle arm. You'll find it's a very specific skill set that must be developed through many years of training. Luckily, the retro encabulator solves this effortlessly by automatically fluxuating the magnetic field around the quantum drive with its *own* dingle arm operated by a mechanical capacitance reversal unit. Gone are the days of struggling with a manual dingle arm to modulate the magnetic fluctuations, constantly running into frequent side fumbling. Kids these days will never know the struggle of having to re-calibrate your magnetic fluxuator by hand when your manual dingle arm malfunctions.
