I noticed that when I disabled that feature, it wasn't updating the fuel remaining, tire pressure and mileage on the MyNissan app, so I re-enabled it. If you don't have any use for the app, then it's no biggie, but I use it for the remote start when my remote is out of range.
Thanks for the video - will check that out in the AM. Off topic a bit - what do you use to wipe down your dash, door panels, etc., it looks good and not 'oily'?
Somehow I think they are still tracking something even if you tell it not to. It's bad enough every app on your phone does it. I'm not going to spend hours reading a EULA though because I don't want to find out that Nissan now owns one of my kidneys.
Good to know, thanks. Just picked up a 24 frontier a few weeks ago, I'll be sure to turn that off next time out. I put the Nissan app on my phone but when I went to get it setup all the personal info it wanted made me delete it too. Only really need roadside assistance and my 24 SV doesn't have built in gps anyways. Another canuck here btw in BC cheers!
@@CanadianCruisin Ahh that's my hometown dude! I'm over in Surrey now but I'm in Langley a lot still. Will have to come out there and see your rig sometime! Shoot me a msg and grab a coffee sometime!

@shawnp6653 all I use is chemical guys interior cleaner and a microfiber cloth. Super easy and smells good. No oily mess left over either.
@@CanadianCruisin Thanks. I've been looking for something to clean mine with and when I watched your video I knew that is what I needed! Thanks!
Do we know if NissanConnect will still work if we turn those off? (For remote locking of doors and remote starting from phone app)
They still listen tho. The SOS button is always green which means the microphone is always on. The only way to get rid of the is to disconnect it.
@stevenpeterson7234 the SOS i think is connected to the airbags as well. If you crash it will send out an SOS like onstar sort of
My 2025 Pro 4X doesn't have that screen when i hit info and doesn't display the transmission screen on start-up?
@fendert1384 maybe they took it out for the 2025s finally

@Scroll_Lock i think so too. I don't think the truck sends it directly to Nissan but the truck stores it.
I think the non-Fender units do not transmit data. Can anyone confirm?

@sumdude2247 I deleted that app as well. I found it more of a headache than anything. I'm out in Langley so if you ever see me come say hi
