Biggest fan. Hard to find people like Chris. Are all ultra high Iq people like Chris in other ways than brain power? I've only met 2 UHIQ (assume) and they both had extreme modes of communicating with people. Literally thinking that they could brain power through peoples' minds in a way. Idk lol, but even though I assume they UHIQ, they still think way differently than Chris. Im not sure if there is anyone at all with the mental 'aperature' Chris has. if we could see him talk to another Is there any way we could see Chris talk to another UHIQ person? Just a response to my comment would make my week :)) @CTMURadio

Some food for thought: I used to attend a high IQ society for children at a local university. There was a clique of very talented but sadistic kids who openly espoused their worship of the devil, and their hatred of their mothers. It seems to me in order to give coherence to Satan it is necessary to hate your causal link to creation, limiting the set of possible futures available to you as you tend towards anti-existence.
Now, a physics major at a top 100 university I see the same pattern of sadism manifesting. If one wants to be at the top of any hierarchy there exists two approaches; either to improve oneself, or to destroy everyone else and stand as the lone new hierarchy of one. Unfortunately in the absence of orientation towards a divine truth, it is inevitable that the ego gravitates to the latter. This is manifest in an arrogant belief in the reductionistic worldview, and the bullying of anyone who seems to deviate from such a viewpoint.
It is therefore refreshing to hear a man of Chris' calibre elucidate what we may have had an inkling of deep down; there exists a truth greater than that which can be explained by physical laws and traditional causation. As Chris implies, it is impossible to explain the observer effect in relation to quantum wave function collapse within a worldview that denies backward-causation and a metaphysical reality.
Thanks for the upload, I fervently await the next.

    • @radscorpion8
      @radscorpion8 День назад

Most of what you wrote really doesn't make any sense, so much so that I think you need help. I'm sorry. "to give coherence to Satan it is necessary to hate your causal link to creation". What does this even mean? I mean, I can cause other things to happen (get married) that leads to a creation event (having a baby). Why would hating that imply a support of Satan? You realize there are antinatalists out there who are perfectly happy as atheists and aren't Satan worshippers? And how does your lone experience with sadistic kids in a high IQ society generalize to any rational point at all? You don't even explain how they have anything to do with your story.
And the "pattern of sadism" is a ridiculous and false dichotomy. There are many people who don't care about being in any hierarchy, and yes they self improve but not with some goal to dominate others. Its even more questionable why a divine truth is needed to avoid destroying others? You never explain any of this. There are literally tens of millions of people who are part of humanist societies across the world and who are atheist. You have no evidence whatsoever that without God people somehow tend to be evil. This is just an old, and completely unsubstantiated trope religious people keep pushing, without evidence. I would expect slightly better from a physics major, or any university student.
No evidence either that this manifests in reductionism, or that they bully anyone either. On the other hand there are plenty of religious people who are bullies. You really think all the televangelists scamming their followers for money through fake healing, or the hordes of Muslim people throwing gay people off rooftop buildings for daring to like the same sex, qualify as good people? How many famous secular people can you name that literally violate people's human rights? The Christian church has been burning heretics and terrorizing children with the fear of God, the fear of same sex attraction, and all sorts of random taboos and baseless rules against women and those who commit arbitrary sins for centuries. And where do you see atheists "pushing" reductionism. All they do is ask for evidence if you invoke the supernatural and it is rarely convincing. For the most part atheist scientists just work on their own problems and rarely bother anyone outside of it lol. That is just a fact and if you spent any time in academia, working with hundreds of different students, you would know this. They don't have the time or the interest to go on a crusade trying to push reductionism on their colleagues. All they care about is their research projects. But of course if you suggest some absurd research project like "God will manifest a potato out of thin air" yes no one will take you seriously because God is a completely unproven assertion with as much legitimacy as a magic unicorn.
Chris is a SINGLE smart individual. What he says or doesn't say is not as important as whether he actually has evidence to back up his assertions, or some predictions that are testable. And guess what, he has none. As such he's had no impact on science and will likely go down in history as a crank. That I and countless others can see this obvious outcome but he can't, speaks volumes about his actual intelligence. If he cared so much about the CTMU and working to make the world a better place, he would find some way to allow his theory to be tested. But he can't, or won't, and I doubt he ever will. So why this person in particular vindicates any of your odd beliefs is strange considering he's basically a nutcase. You want to read what ACTUAL high IQ people did? Read Newton, Gauss, Von Neumann, Euler. People who revolutionized their fields several times over, sometimes multiple fields. Or even in their isolation they would write some great philosophical work that stood the test of time. The CTMU has been released and is already considered quackery.

I think the person that kept this from being released was Jordan Peterson; for whatever reason he saw the interview prior to release and cut the cord.

Great interview! I found about the CTMU recently and have been reading about it. It matches many of the ideas I had concluded about reality myself, and it answers many questions I had about conceptual nuances that I needed more understanding of.
Growing up I always had the dream to formulate a scientific cosmology of the world where there is a theory of everything present, making all the different parts of the cosmology coherent. Inevitably, I think in the future humanity will indeed adopt a comprehensive scientific cosmological model, where all parts of the universe make sense. It is actually kind of a short coming of science that it has been so far unable to provide us with an explanation for spiritual phenomena, and any serious study on the true nature of reality. Especially where ontological arguments aren't shied away from.
It is weird that science (or more properly, academia) has had this taboo of not being allowed to investigate any phenomenon that may suggest that strict materialism is not the full picture. I feel like this has been changing recently though, and hopefully with the advancement of the internet we will have more open-minded thinkers and discussions on the nature of reality, and I think we will see that despite the differences between peoples, beliefs, and cultures, our core is really the same, and all our ideologies and religions stem from the same pure basis.

Iain McGilcrest wrote a very interesting book on the brain and clarifies what Chris said at around 15:46 but he talks about left brain (understandings) vs right brain (reason), how earlier theorists got it all wrong, but the idea is still valid. The right brain understands metaphor, a right brain injury is much more long term damaging than a left brain injury. See "The Master And His Emissary". Right brain gives you that aperture, Left gives you the focus - essentially. Kant explains that reason is both regulative and constitutive.

All of our models of reality, while somewhat functional, are deeply flawed and incomplete. Thank you so much for making this available. For my own birthday (which is tomorrow), I decided to give myself the gift of some teleology in my life. For quite some time I have been calling myself an atheist and discounted most god concepts as mythological, but I feel I want to be open for a relationship with the identity of reality, and if that identity should turn out to be a personal God, I want to be open to that as well. So I am committing myself to one year of intense trying to get in touch with that through meditation and aligning myself to what reality wants. Let's see where this takes me.

This thought has been on my mind: Is God consciousness, and is consciousness the Source of everything? Is everything ultimately just consciousness? If that’s the case, and if we ourselves are consciousness (the soul that generates thoughts and will), then why aren’t we experiencing God directly? Why do we seem to only perceive the world through this limited, third-dimensional reality 📦?

Consequently, I don't want to suggest a hypothesis that I have entertained unless you are okay with discussing it. I certainly don't want to be misconstrued as taking this opportunity to tell you what to believe, and honestly can't tell if all your questions are rhetorical and aren't seeking answers from anyone.

Ronnie James Dio's hand sign, also known as the "devil's horns" or "rock hand", is based on the Italian sign malocchio, which is meant to ward off the evil eye. Dio claimed that his Italian grandmother used the sign, and he began using it after joining the band Black Sabbath in 1979

How well can intuition and instinct serve us in attempting to live rightly with God? Seeing that very few people have an IQ as high as yours, and are thus unable to devise anything like the CTMU as means of establishing a relationship with God, yet are nonetheless morally required to do, how does God reach out to us - or how do we reach out to Him - to establish a relationship with Him, not least for us to circumvent evil, and how do we know what instinct to trust when our intellect is limited?

I guess we can carry the conversation here from the recent clip of this episode.
So Micheal is the one that reached out?
I do something similar to DW but hyper local. It’s Hometown Digital TV on iPhone, Roku, fire TV if you care.
I’ve been weary of Ben and Jeremy for a while. What put me over the edge was the razor commercial. You can’t have half clothed chicks to promote a product and claim conservative. They’re just liberals in costume. To quote Shapiro ‘I’m a conservative because I conserve classical liberalism’.
Anyway that’s my cultural issues with DW. I see Micheal as an outlier that doesn’t think he has the ability to give up the platform DW gives him.
Maybe I think too highly of him but so it is.

edit: I guess the precursor question to that above should be; what else should be understood before diving into Chris' papers? Books? Videos? People, like Johnathan Mize? I would say I have a general grasp of the CTMU currently but I want to completely understand it to the point I can explain it to the lay. @@CTMURadio Good evening, I made a video on the Crowder DW debacle this past weekend. I completely forgot about one of the only interviews the DW was going to put out that I was actually hype for. I intend on making a follow up video to that to cover everything that has happened, but the one thing that I haven't seen put forth is this interview. Do you have any objections to me including the lies of DW with regard to not suppressing its creators? (I will have an excerpt saying the only way im wrong is if Michael pulled it, but I wouldn't think he would pay the production 'fee' for backing out). As I said in the comment section of a clip from the full interview I will have Chris on eventually, it might take a decade but eventually... Thank you.
