Some of Miku's best lyrics. The story of the "other woman" in an affair with a married man. Saiki's manic singing conveys the conflicts and emotion of the situation incredibly well.

The acoustic songs are as fabulous as the original songs. When I started listening to them, it seemed like every song was my new favorite until I heard the next one.
I like the imagery of “the puzzle is breaking apart”. I always thought it was about about the difficulty of building the puzzle, but no, it’s about the puzzle breaking. Ouch!
The only puzzle for me about Band-Maid is why they haven't achieved world domination yet. It's just a matter of time, though. Hopefully! PS I love Miku's vocal harmonies in this song, which echo Saiki's powerful voice so perfectly.
The Warning seems to be on the verge of breaking big. I'm hoping Band Maid will be soon to follow 🤞

More peeks into an important, transformational group known as Band-Maid. Three things I think new fans will find fascinating with this group; 1) the deeper you dig, the more you'll appreciate the members authenticity, writing and musical sensibilities; 2) your favorite song will generally be the one you're currently listening to. Note: This is a distinctive phenomenon with Band-Maid. For example, listen to "Moratorium" and then “Puzzle. Which is your favorite?; and 3) why does it seem they have no bad songs? Band-Maid has plenty of bad songs, according to one of their interviews. It's just that they threw them all in the dumpster and only released 130+ (to date) of their most awesome songs. This disciplined integrity is one of the things that keeps them at the top of the rock pile. Thx, XpXp!
TBH this song would have several million views (not only 800,000) but approx. It was removed from YT 2 years ago. Although it was a different version, it was also wonderful. It will always be No.1 for me, and the remaining 130 songs are the second place!

A little tip to make your reaction more fluent...after pausing, best to start the song 10 to 15 seconds before you left off. It makes the continuation of the song so much better.

The fact that Miku Kobato can play the guitar at a pro level on a concert stage while singing at the same time is nothing short of amazing. She went from a novice, "I'll play an occasional chord" level to a fully proficient guitarist overnight it seemed. I'll admit I had my doubts that she could fully pull off the transformation, but then the Zepp DVD dropped and there was Miku Kobato putting all my doubts to rest. Always on time and in tune.👍

There’s acoustic version of Puzzle from 2018 Zepp Tokyo show, where only Saiki and Kanami on stage performing this song, which gave so much a different feeling to the song.
Acoustic is a must.
Great reaction! One of my favorites. Imagine how much Miku wanted this! Hand over the lead vocals to another AND learn guitar! I love Miku who just happened to put together the greatest rock band EVER! To learn why Saiki is the best female rock vocalist (EVER!) check out the acoustic version of Puzzle. She tugs at the heart like very few rock vocalists can. Not only that, you will hear Kanami do the backup vocals. She sings like an angel! This band has talent in every member that most bands can only dream of. I LOVE BAND MAID ❤❤

This song, "Puzzle," sung by a woman who has fallen completely in love with a cheating husband who will never leave his wife for her. She knows this love will destroy her, that she will never be happy again, but she can't stop loving him.
The electric version is sung with anger, bitterness about her situation. In the acoustic version, that was performed in 2018, it is just Saiki singing and Kanami on guitar and backing vocals. Both seated alone on stage. Same song, same words, different arrangement. This version is full of sadness, regret, longing, desperation. It's heartbreaking and heartbreakingly beautiful. Even not understanding the words by the end you just want to comfort Saiki and tell her you'll do anything to make her feel better.

"Puzzle" was a MV that locked me in with Band Maid. This the 2nd version of "Puzzle", the earlier version was when Miku was still in her early stage of learning to play the guitar. On the earlier one it was MISA who did that fill.
Still one of the their very best!!
Oh, I forgot, Miku wrote the lyrics.
They didn't "find" Saiki, she was with the same agency as Miku. The agency recommended Saiki to be the singer they wanted.

Miku sings - Sayonakidori Acoustic
The song to hear that showcases Miku's voice as she accompanies herself on the Zematis acoustic guitar. You get to see BandMaid as a trio in this performance with Misa and Akane supporting the Mighty Miku Kobato! Akane also sings back up on this version and has a beautiful voice. In fact all members of BandMaid can sing beautifully. This Christmas concert is one of the musical highlights of my life!

Just wait. The acoustic version is one of my favorite performances of any song in any genre. Set your expectations as high as you want and they will be exceeded.
This night, January 9th 2023, was one of my dreams come true. The Tokyo Garden Theater Band Maid anniversary concert was surreal. And when this song started it was so much more amazing than you can feel from this mv. That whole night was crazy amazing.
Usually, for most, your favorite BAND-MAID song is the last one you heard. But Miku always envisioned BAND-MAID with dual vocals. But she knew that her voice didn't suit the Hard Rocking Maid image she was trying to cultivate. As far as playing guitar, if you look at 'Thrill' she's holding the guitar like a prop. It's hard enough to learn how to play and sing at the same time, let alone doing it while in a working band. Mku is amazing, but then they all are. Not a Flying Pigeon though. It's the "Flappy Pigeon. Kanmi is getting a new PRS too. But the lyrics about about falling for someone who's already spoken for.
When people ask me what my favorite song is, I always list this one among the 3 I name. Yes, there are 3, for now, that could change depending on the day. They are Puzzle, Daydreaming and Blooming. Also, another good representation of Saiki's vocals is Wonderland (Live).
One other thing, while Saiki sang the song, Miku wrote the lyrics. I wonder what happened in Miku's life to cause her to wrote those words. Miku's such an energetic, positive, and outgoing person, so it breaks my heart that this situation may have happened to her.
There is zero reason to think Miku was drawing on personal experience for these lyrics.Her standard approach is to get the "feel" of a song, and then do extensive research into that idea. The idea of love gone wrong is certainly a common theme. They have 2 other songs, Secret My Lips and Choose Me, that explore this theme from different views.
Miku has stated none of her lyrics are specifically about her.

@@Davey-BoydJust that the protagonist appearing in many of her lyrics sound like the same person, Matchless Gum, Puzzle, Anemone, Page, No God, where she definitely went through tumultuous relationship and left with trust issues, but knowing that she has to move on.
If she is into acoustic stuff, they did acoustic version of this, and many other songs over the years. They have done acoustic concert on Christmas 2021, and also earlier this year.
The acoustic version of "Puzzle" will give you a much greater understanding of Saiki as a lead vocalist (also Kanami as a vocalist). I'm glad you saw the closed captioned lyrics of the song. Remember the words when you react to the acoustic version. Warning: Get Kleenex.
The acoustic is very beautiful but, sadly, it was placed on RUclips as ripped content from official bluray merch, not intended to have been placed for public view. Some reactors prefer not to react to the acoustic version because of this.
Miku's singing on this song is fantastic.
You should have done the acoustic version as well but now you can do the acoustic version with the song that follows it Anemone. You will hear Kaname sing. 😊

Was lucky enough to see both live in Tokyo recently. Both bands played my fave song & they closed the nite with the live debut of their collab. Best concert ever! ♥
Please try to watch 'Band Maid Music Gold Rush'. There are two parts and it has English subtitles. It is one of the funniest interviews I've ever seen.

Nobody told Miku they needed a different singer, that was her decision.
Band-Maid is her band.
The company wanted Saiki to hold a guitar and she refused.
Miku volunteered.
Akane was angry that someone in the band would hold an instrument so she talked to Kanami and that was the beginning of Miku’s guitar lessons.
Miku was already playing guitar during Saiki's first show with the band, even though they shared the mic as front women for half the set.

Don't worry, it's not an uncommon thing when going through their extensive and diverse portfolio. 😂 I like that you were pointing out some of the Miku parts. FYI...for most of their songs, Miku is panned to the left to left center channel and Kanami is panned to the right channel. I often feel Miku doesn't get all the kudos she deserves. What she's doing is not the flashy stuff, on guitar and vocals, but man, if you took either of them out, the sound would be so missing that extra something something. Since you're doing two-for on "Puzzle" live and acoustic, I suggest you do a two-for on Miku..."Sayonakidori". You can hear the original album version on the Band-Maid "Releases" tab--> "Unseen World" album--> Track 7. Then do the acoustic official live version. Like the "Puzzle" reactions you are doing, you will get two completely different feelings. And the bonus on the acoustic version...you get to hear Akane do backing vocals!😍 PO!🕊 🤘🤘😆
I would suggest you check out Band Maiko SECRET MY LIPS and GI-ONCHO and also Miku's song, PEACE & LOVE, from her Cluppo side project. They will give you some other insights.
The acoustic version is just as amazing. The two together are at another level.
Akane described the five of them as a community of destiny (closest English translation) and they do seem to be the perfect puzzle pieces to fit together to create this band, like nothing that has come before. Their music is like Matchless Gum, it just never loses its flavour. 😊

I will try to find a program that a reactor did just on Miku that really developed her contribution to BandMaid 's success and existence itself. Of course the documentary by Orenje is brilliant this particular presentation of which I write delves into her character and iron will. As I say I will look around and find it for your illumination. Actually, Miku is just as good singer as Saiki. But they sound very different. You must check out Sayonakidori with Miku on lead vocals. Listen to the original first and after that the amacing acoustic version of the song and you get what i mean😁
But you should also listen to the songs Time and Rock in me to hear some great and very different songs with Mike taking the lead role.
But yeah! This song is soooo good. Saiki really shows her skills here😁👍
In my opinion if your goin to listen to the accustic version of Puzzle you should listen to Anemone and Puzzle back to back. They are together as a set
Pay attention to mikus backup vocals because in the acoustic version you get to here kanami backup saiki but be warned tissues are a must cause........
