I get what you're saying about theft/damage, but unless you bought the car as an investment (and yes, you will likely be able to get 3-4 times what you paid in several years when there are no more ICE and V8s out there) it's an expensive car to pull out of the garage only "on occasion".
I get it to each his own but me personally I would drive the hell out of mine if I had one thats a lot of money to pay for a car just for it to sit up somewhere tomorrow is not promised to any of us and sports cars were meant to enjoy, if someone really wanted they could just take it from your garage, an experienced thief could. I feel the same way. Driving a Challenger feels like I have a target on my back. Parking it is also an issue in crowded LA. Not to mention dumbass drivers on their phones all the time causing accidents on the freeway.
I understand fully what you are saying. I have a 2016 challenger hellcat and I absolutely love this car. when I do drive mine. I joyride. I never let it out of my sight. I do worry a lot about it getting damaged.
Drive the car and enjoy it, I've had 3 Hellcats so far and don't worry about the problems you listed. Remember this isn't some rare exotic car that was hand built, it's a production car that just happens to have a large Supercharged V8 in it. A 80K car these days means nothing, most trucks an SUV's cost that. Lol, drive your car and enjoy it, you only live once.

I don't have a hellcat obviously and my 1320 was only half the price at 40K new, but for me it was still a dream car and it's equivalent to a 80 or 100K car for me. That said, I feel exactly the same as you on the first 2 reasons. Even though I'm a big proponent of "enjoying your car", plus the fact I fully understand that's what insurance is for being I worked in that for years. But this car is staying with me for life and means a lot to me and a replacement from insurance wouldn't be the same. Now reason 3 I have no idea about and think you've lost your mind for. I feel the same. Always was "Picky" about my cars. 3 lightnings, 89 gt, 93 cobra, 13 rt plus 6spd, and now 15 Srt 6spd. 28k, 14k, 4k, 3k, 17k and 10k miles respectively. The real 93 Cobra went to the founders of the MCA with original oil filter, battery, air filter and all factory plastic and chalk Mark's, tags etc. 10 years later. For thoroughbred judgement rules book development. Grand daddy of SVT. And this bought a few months back SRT is in the works for correction of issues caused by the prior owner. Multiple small dents , paint correction, scratched plastic interior and exterior pieces, etc. Now buying up all of the OEM replacement pieces and getting it "Right". About 4k in price to do it all. But has factory tags inside, etc. Just love removing time from my toys. Never seen the rain. Will only upgrade it to a redeye classic body if I ever do. Some guys chop and mod. I restore. I've built and painted , blueprinted with my own hands. But that's for track or custom cars. This is Original. Not a banged out street beater. You guys are not alone. I will be sourcing factory dated tires, battery, filters, tags etc. If the next year reveals these as going up in value. It's a fun hobby.

I completely relate to this because I like to drive special cars as daily drivers and somehow people manage to give me dings in the sheet metal of the car they are like ghosts I never catch them even if I park far away all alone. The Corvette on the other hand might get scratches on it but the carbon fiber body or plastic never gets any door dings so I think it's a better daily driver plus it gets nearly 30 miles per gallon on the highway if you take it easy. But the red eye wide-body get so many compliments from young and old folks alike even people that aren't really into cars go out of their way to tell me what a great looking car the Hellcat widebody is.
Totally get it! When I got lucky and bought my 50th anniversary gold rush wide body shaker I was aware of the theft problems. This is not only mopar. GM also has same theft process. As a retired dealer tech that worked theft recovery in th 90s I've seen a bunch. So back to basics..how do they get your challenger? Bust a window crawl Inside do their electronic unlock magic and there gone. I found a dude in Florida that makes and sells a slick motion sensor that Installs into factory alarm! DONE. second I found the start signal wire to the BCM and installed a hidden toggle switch! DONE! if they get past the alarm IT AINT GONNA START! I've used a kill switch since the 80s. My 84 chevy truck was tryed 5 times! Minor dammage but still where I parked it. My 2020 scat pack numbered car has almost 500 hp. Plenty for me and too much fun to drive! I've won several car shows with it and still gets 21 mpg avg! It's not a daily driver at all! It's doing better than my 401 and could be bought...someday 🤑🤑🤑😁

I'm from NJ live in a pretty quiet neighborhood but A town about 13 miles there have been break in's into the garage to steal the cars and I did The security up grade about 3 months ago And my 1320 is garage kept but you right about parking it somewhere so you don't get it damage . My daily driver is a 1500 Ram sport ignition orange package

Not 80K, but my 52K 2020 Scat Pack is daily driven and sits outside (wife's 2019 Camry takes the garage slot). It sucks in winter ice and snow, but, drive and enjoy that sucker.
One reason I stop driving my Hellcat Widebody is that I think they will encrease their cost in the next years and I wnat to keep the odo very low. Now in 1,200 miles, and is a 2019.
$80K is a lot of money, no doubt, but dude there are a lot more expensive vehicles on the road. Check out all the euro cars and there's a ton of pickup trucks that sticker way more.
I totally get your fear about damaging the car. I felt the same exact way when I got my C7 Corvette. You literally just can't give a sh*t. You have insurance, if something happens it happens. You can't paralyze yourself with fear. Its just a car..
Daily driving high HP, special, limited edition rear wheel drive cars in the Northeast for decades on super commute and my Redeye will have snow tires too. Insurance covers theft, third reason I didn't watch ong enough but...I'm a middle class dude and driving my Redeye, Z06's (3 generations all supercharged since 2002) or Lightning (3rd one) or Jag etc. are what gets me out the door at 3am to go to work! Enjoy your cars.

this car isn't supposed to be a daily driver imo i think they were built for the purpose of hittin the racetrack on the weekends and possibly maybe a few traffic light romps here and there , a lot of these cars have been completely destroyed
The lack of security is why I have never bought a Challenger. I rented one in 2019 for several days, and I loved it except for that godless push-button start. I stopped at a hotel after a long day of driving, and 30 min or so after being in my room, I went to the car to get something out of the trunk, and the damm vehicle was still running. It did not alert me when getting out that the engine was still on. Anyone could have just gotten in and drove away. The only way to stop these thefts is to give the damm car a key start, but they are unavailable. This is why they are the number one stolen car; they have no security.
