I had a manual trans in my 1991 ZR-1. It was so fun, but I prefer an auto now. I currently have a 2011 CTS-V and a 2013 Audi S5 cabriolet prestige. Both are automatics and both are hella fun to drive. I have my eye on the new C8 Corvette in a year or two. Thanks for the videos!

Great car and looks impressive no doubt, but I'm taking a ZL1 every day of the week. Hellcats are a little over the top for me. However, if challengers are your thing and money isn't an issue I can definitely see the appeal. The ZL1s overall performance and looks is second to none imo. Hoping to get mine in about 10 years 😊 Also, that "YEAH!" at 1830 was magical 😂 You are so awesome Joe and we appreciate you very much!

I can't imagine driving a hellcat that isn't a wide body. The narrow body has the smaller width tires right? My scat pack can be squirrelly when I get into it with 485 hp and its not a wide body.
i have Challenger SRT 392, Which has the same body trim as Hellcat. Each got same everything as hellcat including wide tires, suspension, etc.. except for the engine is 6.4L with (485hp). Before I got mine I was into widebody, but after comparing the two, I opted for regular. In my eyes, it just carries the perfect classic look, as is, Besides the Challengers are already wide car. Adding Widebody trims just looks unnecessary and unnatural. But each their own.
The only auto car I’ve ever had was my first car in high school because I’m a purist and nothing beats the driver involvement of rowing and executing the perfect shifts of a man trans for sure Joe no doubt. 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Another thing that a lot of people do not know is that the racing stripes add an additional 10 horsepower on top of the 10 provided by the yellow protective strips.
One more comment, 18:10 that was hilarious how you just said “here we go” and you ended up drifting 😂 you were driving that cat like you stole.... that’s how it supposed to be driven 😤 honestly such a great review I felt like I was in the car with ya, no matter how many challenger reviews I’ve seen I still watch em all, keep up the great content Mr. Raiti 💪🔛🔝🔜
Nice car but I have to say that I would be a nervous wreck because I know that I would be dropping the hammer down. I like it but if I were in the market for a front engine muscle car I would go with the GT-350 first and the Z-01 second. Mainly because of the handling aspect. Even in a straight line drag race the Challenger Hellcat you have to be always on your A-Game and that still might not be enough. Thanks for sharing Joe. I enjoy all of your videos.
Those Hemi's sound good across the rev range, but here in Ontario I think the 392 SRT will do just fine. Loves these cars...and they plant is only an hour away from me!
I love the heavy clutch feel in my Srt challenger a true real feel .your right Dodge is so full of it when I bought mine cloth was not an option a 70k plus vehicle that's ridiculous plus no duo power seats
turt1231 The Zl1 is my daily driver. I like it better because it handles a lot better then the Hellcat. It has a better ride also. Even though the Hellcat has more horsepower, I still think the Zl1 is quicker.

I had the yellow protectors on my Redeye....the dealer didn’t take them off. They said they would take them off when I came back for the first maintenance...everybody was offering me 100+ dollars for them. So Ieft them on. Other were saying “dude those things have to go”i kept them.
I have a 19 HC, 6spd WB. Surprised someone traded it so quick. What were they thinking when got it. They should of got the widebody. Makes a big difference.
Jerry 50 yah maybe that why he traded it in because not wide body. Too much power and slippage . A Scat Pack 275 tires and it 485 hp you can get away without a wide body. Hellcat you need the Widebody it a 💥MUST💥.
Trying really hard to decide between a manual widebody Hellcat or a manual C7 Z06. The challenger is by far the more fun car to drive, but I really miss having an open air experience that the z06 offers, currently drive a Scat Pack Challenger.
Where do cars like this come from? I see so many newer cars with only like 5k miles are they demos or did someone buy them and just got bored of it in like 6 months?

Dunno, just drove a GT350 from Seattle to NC. Average cruising speed was 90-110, highest speed was 150+...grinning

So true. The non wide bodies have 275s and that aint much. Should have a min. of a 305 for scat and hell cat.
Agree 305 should be standard for both trims. My Daytona has the dynamics package with 275s and you can definitely still get turnt

Yeah but your riding on bicycle tires put good tires on the back and I went bigger on the front as well it changes the whole dynamics of the car
