Buying a car used like this always scares me because I don’t know who the previous owner was or how bad he actually thrash the thing having a good time. This car could be very expensive once you buy it and now you’ve got a little say knock in the engine later. My advice be extra cautious.
50k for a muscle car with 40,000 miles on it, maybe if it was more like 30k, than I would consider it, but who knows what type of a beating that car took from the first owner. I guess I'm just not one of those guys that are desperate enough for people to see me in a Hellcat.
I bought my 16 modded with 19k. Was it run hard probably. Was i worried about it NO. If the compression is good and everything checked out, no worries here. These cars are made to run. If you want to look at it and not run it, buy a poster and hang it on the wall.😂 Oh it was $45k and had over $20k worth of modifications. Go buy new if you want👍

M6 Hellcat is a blast. Mine is heavily modded and pushing 17lbs of boost. You will need a clutch upgrade if you plan to run the car really hard.. Of course the driveshaft and axles can be a weak link if drag racing. Always a blast to run the car. Its never boring. You want a little more excitement install a pedal commander. Dont set it too high or downshifts will result in a change of shorts😁. I also have a Barton pistol grip shifter which makes shifting much nicer.
Manual's are great, you really have control the car. Driving a standard for the first time (after someone had a license for 3 years) is like driving a car for the first time.
That's the same hood I have on my 19 scat pack. The GT and SS have nothing as cool. Manual transmission all the way. Learn to drive like a man. Plus you simply can't go fast in most cities so might as well feel like you're actually driving instead of lame auto transmission.
Most people don't drive the better trim levels daily, and are only used on the weekends or at the strip. So you can find really nice ones with low miles, for a fraction of what they cost new and especially if you go for a manual. I've priced cats before, and the 8speed torqueflite cars are always more money. Although as far as racing goes, l most definitely prefer an auto because it's easy to miss gears when you're slamming em and have seen many people lose that way. Plus they shift so much quicker, and cannot miss either. They do make old school pistol grips for them as well as automatics, and are available at the mr. Norm's online store. I got one from them in my SRT8, but is for the autosticks and are pretty cool to. I had a 4-speed 68 Charger RT with added six pk in the late 90s, and once raced a Camaro SS 396 with turbo 400 and had it gapped. That is until I missed a gear with that damn long throw, and lost the race

Joe, you are the freaking MAN. Amazing review. You are a real class act. Definetly gonna overtake some of the swamp phonies on RUclips doing fake promoted car reviews.
The widebody hellcat depreciated the standard body hellcats big time. I bought a used 2016 hellcat for 49k with only 2k miles on it and it's fully loaded except it's not a manual. So, this hellcat is way overpriced with 39k miles.
Would rather get a camaro ss1le. I don’t like the look of the hellcat. Challengers look like bulky oversized boats and they weigh way too much. Camaros are sexier and drive better/handle way better. But great review like always!
I had a 19 HC WB , was fun but wasn’t getting enough use out of it. Went with a 21’ M550. But would do it again with a stick if got another. Used prices are way up.
You seem more like a salesmen than someone I would trust to give me good advice on what to buy or not to buy. As for the Hellcat, I have driven both and the 6-speed is considerably slower than the 8-speed auto.

@@chrisrainieri2763 Its good, but you saw on this one what i meant maybe :)
I bought a 2015 hell cat with 2895 mikes. Yes under three thousand mikes for $47k. It’s black on black. Gonna upgrade the exhaust and change the shifter to a Barton with pistol grip. Might. Be something to do to this one.
My plum crazy srt8 was the last year they threw the pistol grip shifter in and I can attest to it being so much nicer!
That car looks pretty cool, even with that black too which looks awesome in the challenger
i have a 2016 challenger hellcat 6 speed, runs great has 40,000 miles on it. Runs flawless
I love the Twinkie holders talk 🤣🤣🤣👍
IGLA and manual transmission, best combo for anti-theft. They can’t start it and most can’t drive it. Only way they get it is with a tow truck which is riskier for thieves.
I like the way that you think!
Joe, you are the freaking MAN. Amazing review. You are a real class act. Definetly gonna overtake some of the swamp phonies on RUclips doing fake promoted car reviews.
50k with 40k miles nah might as well put in the difference for a used 18 or 19 with less miles
I'd rather get a 2020 widebody scatpak for just 5k more.....40,000 miles is too freaking much
Dan Ordel yeah or that too!...and you right 40k on a Hellcat you taking a major chance on that better have good mechanic look over that car lol
Long live the manuals cannot wait to get this car what an amazing machine
Not gonna lie. As a 19 year old in the Army its a stereotype to buy an expensive muscle car... but man do I want one of these
These Hellcats are more reasonably priced, and are still badass...
The widebody hellcat depreciated the standard body hellcats big time. I bought a used 2016 hellcat for 49k with only 2k miles on it and it's fully loaded except it's not a manual. So, this hellcat is way overpriced with 39k miles.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one.
Wow!!!!! Good for you!! That’s an awesome deal!
Yea good luck finding those deals in todays market now lmao
@@KingZD1 right its crazy ! 60k is base price
I can also imagine the smile on Doug DeMuro's face!
Would rather get a camaro ss1le. I don’t like the look of the hellcat. Challengers look like bulky oversized boats and they weigh way too much. Camaros are sexier and drive better/handle way better. But great review like always!
They probably raced the dog crap out of this one. I was lucky when I got mine, it had very low miles (6000) and inside and out was impeccable.
U are really underrated bro
Love a manual
I totally agree with you!
You need to have another camera to show the shifting - the videos will be much better after editing.
as always manual transmission thank you joe
We need a closer look at that Plum Crazy Purple Challenger in the background. lol
You have launch control 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Joe you crack me up bud!
Thanks Bryon!
No it’s not
15:44 Sounds Good 👂🔥🔥
I totally agree with you Jay!
