I like the fact that u guys love the hellcat a lot of people like to bash the car for not being a supercar but its a muscle and a very good muscle car. I also think the zl1 any year is better because they actually have grip and not as big so u have confidence while driving . try and review both zl1 5th and 6th gen u will love them
Yeah but I'd prefer a more serious sports car like a mustang gt350 or Camaro ZL1
Best Muscle Car Ever. Yeah Probably. It is utterly impractical but very large and spacey inside, a boat compared to the the Comaros, Vettes mustangs. Those are at best pny cars, with very high performance sports car no2, gt350, Camaro’s much better to drive especially ZL1. Just different types of car. Widebody is necessary for hellcat. i’d take Zl1 Camaro personally if handling and Power are premiuum, because basic blower swap will get it into 800 crank horsepower range... manual of course. Gt350, Hellcat widebody and 6th gen camaro are are all just different in Unique ways. Other than gas mileage which none do well in, Hellcat widbkdy with probably much more grippy tires for a cruising, fun road trip car with lots of space. Heavy but muscle cars were always heavy.... it’s badass. So is A Zl1 1le and fir price now gt350
With thet engine and supercharger or tein turbo if you NEEED the power is about same price range with prices falling. Just different cars. As far as muscle car by definition. Well duh hellcat is kinda the only one by size properly defined that exists. The rests are pony cars, ir vette sports car with extreme muscle. Just all different and unique. If I could pick two or 3 or all they just are all very special and unique. But as far as muscle car Well yeah the hellcat is really the only proper muscle car... I like turninf, so not my first choice, but for cool factor and badassness wouldn’t turn one down if someone gave it to me and I’d have no regrets.

The reason the shifter is tilted weirdly is because the old school challengers were just like that. Gives it a retro look in the interior

Sorry but there is no argument against amber headlights. At least in my opinion they look awesome
The amount of lifted trucks near me with with high intensity blue LED headlights that aren't adjusted downward blasting me in the eyes has made me loathe them.
Is it just me or would two Amber halos be better? The white halos on the actual headlights are so dull they are barely noticeable...
The amber lights make it look like you're staring into the eyes of the devil...

@ckatlinga I am the UK resident (but I am a Pole, thus my English is far from being perfect), we have a lot of pickups in the countryside. However, they are rather small ones (from NA perspective) like L200, Navara etc. But for sure, they are farm 'tools', not 'daily drivers'. you don't want to drive your RAM on small, XVIII century village streets.

Most American performance cars can be and are regularly imported to Europe, hellcats included. It's mostly a matter of making sure the lights are up to spec (amber turn signals, etc) and going through the local registration process. Regular Challengers are everywhere, this is just an engine upgrade as far as the law is concerned.
I agree that this is the best modern musclecar and the sounds it makes are incredible! My dream spec Hellcat would be that F8 green, widebody and 6-speed. You guys really did a great job shooting this review, my favorite shots are the close up of the headlight/grille and the wheel/brakes plus the rest of the car looks fantastic.
Octane Red widebody 6 speed for me please. Need to find that old nostalgic pistol grip shifter to put in tho.

Save the manuals! Seriously though, 707 horsepower with a supercharger whining with every gear, where you have full control over the gearing, it doesn't get any better than this!

I like tuners. I’ve had a couple S13’s with trackday setups, STi, BMWs etc but this is one of my absolute favorite cars. Just so brutal in every way, don’t care it’s a million pounds or imprecise. It’s the perfect muscle car and I’m in love

Great review! I went back and forth forever and after driving an auto I was sold! The manual didn’t feel right in this car. I chose the auto myself, it helped knowing I have other manual cars though . Can’t lose in either decision you make but I will say, that the manual is slower and didn’t feel like 700 hp. When spending this much I wanted it to feel 700hp. If I didn’t already have manual cars I might would have done manual but ultimately I’m very happy with the auto, it’s a rocket!

I love that shfiter in these. You have to be so strong it. Gives you the feeling you can bang the gears as hard as you can and it feels natural versus a flimsy shifter.
People always saying how stiff the clutch is,its easy to me i drive a semi truck come check out the clutch in that if u want a extra leg workout so car clutches are easy to work with,love the review

Glad you got a chance to do this car. A number of reviewers really liked the scat pack widebody with the auto. The ZF 8 speed is super fast and you can boot it harder cause it's naturally aspirated. Widebody does help handling in sport and track mode and it isn't completely overpowered. Still has 392 Hemi with 485 HP. Whole package is more cohesive. Love to see you review that one.
Mark Pluta problem is that reviewers compare it to sports cars which it is not, hencr why they like the more balanced scat pack. Old school muscle were meant to look cool, sound cool and go fast in a straight line. The hellcat is perfect

3. Handbrakes are for Econo-boxes / Cheap cars , or Wanna-Be Drifters that Don't have Enough Power to TRULY Drift ... Which is done with the Throttle.

I have the “actual serial killer” version, original, 6 speed, non-widebody, and love driving it. Made me a better driver for sure. Then add snow and/rain into the mix and you’ll see the gates of hell open in front of you! Lol. Also, you get a free class at Bondurant Racing school to teach you how to tame the beast if you buy a hellcat or any SRT vehicle, I believe. Totally worth it.

I actually got nervous when it got away from Jakub - then freaked out when he LET Yuri drive it - you know, 'cause of the "rules of the show". Your next one should be the Z06 ... also on the street!

I heard one of these the other day on the road. The sound of it was very distinguished, dodge did an amazing job on the exhaust note. And of course the whole car is very well put together 👌🏿

I love that you guys got to drive this, so cool. You're guys channel has come so far from the start. This thing needs a hand brake and a short throw shifter though. Also some long tube headers would be nice. Crazy how pudgy these cars are though. Those don't even look like 305s
