I've had my 23 450xcfw for a year now. I love it for the tight trails, but recently it's mostly seen sand dunes. Im thinking about getting the FMF exhaust, but you said you like the graves. How do they effect the power?

I built a race spec project 500exc years ago been mx raced, hammered in dual sport, run in pitch black night on mtb tight single track in Tahoe etc... it is hands down thee most versatile 'dirt bike' bar none. Bike is so dialed wouldn't sell it for anything! And if theyre done right the 4cs forks & pds suspension is good or better than the newer stuff i have on my newer ktms incl linkage bikes 👌🏻

Since it's a competition KTM not buggered by epa crap. I'm sure you know. The Beta isn't up to that performance. Beta's mantra is ride easy-to-use. Kinda flat throttle response. It's heavier by at least 10lbs. And that Sachs suspension, too much movement feel bouncy. In a real offroad desert competition which the 450xcf-w was designed that's where it shines. For DS mellowing rides, that's what the Beta caterers
That bike is sick! I would love to ride that. Does that headlight have a high and low beam. My baja designs sport light doesn't have a low beam unfortunately.
Is the suspension something different yall offer from the Race Tech/ Taco Sauce stuff, or is it this customer's preference? Killer build, dude. As always.
It's far superior in tight trails with 14/52 and can still cruise at 60-65 mph. Any faster than 70 and it really starts to rev out in 6th gear where the 500 stock is more comfortable at those speeds. The 450 revs quicker, makes really nice linear power from bottom to top, and revs out further. The 500 has more bottom end power and torque with a good mid range but signs off early.
Hey sorry to but in but I just picked up a 2016 six days fairly new it’s never hit the dirt till I got it ..It had snowmobile attachment . Pretty bad ass. Anyways I do a lot of pig hunting I wanna build it up a little bit it’s having that flame out issue right now need help how do I get..? looking tmore power ..what lights to get ‘Something Not so loud //‘ they make a gun rack?. . lights that don’t break off so easy .. thanks for any help you taco guys seem to have it going on👍🏻
Of all the things I have invested in my dual sport, the best investment has been a seat concepts seat. Riding beta's and KTM's as a 5'5" guy requires some innovation hahaha 😂.
Killer bike… flip the cotter pins around on your foot pegs… the kick stand will contact one of them and ruin it + it keeps them from rocks smashing them…. Yeah If they break the pin could fall out but they won’t break on top.

Stop changing your radiator guards, stock ones provide most aiflow… thats why they are angled, not flat?😂
