Honestly just commit to full Titan swap. I’ve gone down this road Already and now I’m fully Titan swapped. You’ll end up wasting money trying to go around. With the Z1 kit the only thing you’re missing is the M205 front diff. U can find them at any salvage yard and the you’ll be fully swapped with max flex. You’ll be glad u did at the end of the day. Sell the Rough Country kit to recoup some money. The salvage diff should be about $500
@@4wdAdventurz absolutely you’ll be good with 35’s. Cut what u need from the pinch weld and fenders. To get the same 11” of travel from a Tacoma they have to do a complete body chop mount and cut massive amounts. For the nissan its minor cuts and our cost $ is fraction of what Tacoma guys have to do get same travel we get with a simple Titan Swap. You’ll regret it if u don’t, especially since I can tell you like wheel and push the rig to some limits.
Just a thought... As I mentioned previously, I'm doing a full Titan and Armada swap on my Pathy, along with a Calmini 5" lift. Since mine's a V8, it already has the M205 front diff. Going full Titan, insures your CV's are off the shelf parts, and not a "special order" part. Rough Country will sell you just the 6" Titan spindles, and you will probably end up with closer to an 8"-9" lift after swapping out the lower control arms and uppers to Titan. You will need to swap out the steering rack tie rod ends (inner and outer). You will probably need to contact Radflo to get their recommendation for front coil overs because of the added height. The Titan rear axle should bolt in place, and is available with a locker. So not only do you have the height, and an additional 6 inches extra width (3" per side), you also get a 6x5.5 bolt pattern. Of Course, it's never as simple as I mentioned, and will take some research for your vehicle... Just throwing this thought into the pool of possibilities... lol
Hey, I just joined the Florida Nissan Off Roading / Overlanding group. I just recently got into automotive photography. I would love to get some pictures of your Frontier. If you're ever up ror it, just let me know! 👍🏽
I just did a budget titan swap with spc uppers and stock lowers, still on stock shocks for the moment until I buy proper length shocks, only in about 980$ because I sourced all my parts from rock auto, all the kits are way over priced in my opinion. Even with the stock struts it rides 10x better
when you do the lift, can you do a video on the exact lift and options? gets kinda confusing with all the different titan lift options

Agree, my buddy Dave titan swapped his x-terra. It’s an absolute beast with the wide track, and he pulls a trailer.
Yeah? 🤔 You think I’d still be good with the 35’s?

Beautiful Reliable Truck.
Thank s bubba!
I am jacked. I’ve always wondered with the absolute belly aching people do about RC 6 inch lifts, what could be done to improve it.
