    Great video... gave me the confidence to do it myself. But happily the 308 eHDi '62 plate, is even easier. No need to remove the air tubes, I just shifted the brake fluid reservoir and removed the engine cover and the 3 screws are very easy to access, forward of the windscreen gutter. A 15 min job😊

    So, so helpful before I attempted this. On the previous 3008 1.6 HDI engine the air filter sat nicely at the side. Whatever made them think moving to the BACK of the engine was a good idea is quite beyond me!

    Just got a berlingo, battery was dead , just thought I'd jump start it .Nope ! Start taking apart a battery cover just for that. Then a friend of mine told be the air filters are always clogging, so I thought I'd check that out give quick clean with the air , didn't think I'd have to take a day off work to do that . But here I am .

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah. Dang. I'd be surprised if even a heavily clogged air filter would prevent starting, low power yes, but not fail to start. Is it turning over quickly? - yes, not the battery or starter. Is there fuel in the tank?- yes, move on to checking if it's injecting fuel. (Exhaust smoke and indicator)... Might be better plugging in some diagnostic equipment however as it's likely the ECU doesn't like something and is thus not starting the injection.
