If you have a hard time bending, and you've been playing for a while, you probably need lighter strings. I grew up listening to slayer and metallica, so I used 10s-11s for years. Only later did I learn the benifits of lighter strings.

It's certainly an interesting cover. The way you make it work, even with the timings for the main solo being a bit different to the original, is actually pretty impresssive. Your intonation is beautiful. Nice job!

Music is a time machine ! You can go back when you play the Duke Ellington tune. You can move forward, if you will compose melodies and songs. Your grandchildren will play them in the future. So you will be out of time.
