Oh my goodness. I made this for the very first time and if I tell you. Eat taso good and I slept so good . I recommend this. To anyone who's having sleeping problems❤
Incredible drink, I made it on a whim late one night recently when I had a chesty cold and coughing up phlegm, I was back to sleep in minutes feeling much easier.
@@Would_You_Rather5 There isn't scientific evidence that boiling or cooked makes honey poisonous, and no poisonous substance has been found in boiled honey. It could make it a little less nutritious. But it is an ayurvedic belief that cooking honey makes it toxic. This is great! Going to make some with oat milk as I have a family history of Cancer and need to avoid the estrogen and IGF-1 in dairy. Thanks for sharing
Thank you.. This recipe was heaven for me.. I usually have trouble sleeping.. I made this and had before I sleep.. It felt so good.. It was so warm and hydrating.. Perfect for the winter.. ❤
@@michaelcambridge1542i make this nearly every night and it’s always great! Tastes great and helps me drop off to sleep. I also think it helps with my restless leg syndrome, and cramps.
I made it because my 88 yr old nana woke up in the middle of the night with heartburn and I used Lactose Free milk, I added 1tsp Turmeric, 1tsp cinnamon, chamomile, vanilla, maple syrup for taste and midway through the cup she started falling asleep again and she said she felt better with no more heartburn. Usually it takes a long time for any medicine to work but this worked fast🔥🔥🔥
1/2 Teaspoon of Turmeric is enough. That's more than 2 grams. Cinnamon and pepper can give you heartburn. Try almond milk and just a dash of fresh ground pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of honey.
You could add coconut oil too this concoction to get the full anti-inflammatory benefit it has to offer, and this should by no means to be boiled; at best to simmer ❤😘
My eyebrow threader just told me about tumeric milk to help my skin from the inside. I drink a lot of water and I've cut back on my sugar quite a bit, but I keep breaking out. My dermatologist has ordered topicals for me but I do want to try something that will work on the inside as well 😊
what "ddeatheatherr" said, I dislike dithering bla, bla, bla...that goes on and on and on...thanks for the recipe, I most definitely will try it tonight👍🙏
A full teaspoon of ginger root powder? That's a lot, especially if you use a strong ginger root powder like I do. Ginger root before bedtime can actually keep you up because it's a mild stimulant. Otherwise, this looks like one of the better Golden Milk recipes and the one I'll try to make my first cup of Golden Milk.
Auntieeeeeeeee!!!!!! 😋😋 It looks so nice. My dad was just telling yesterday to make a drink video. I will try something soon. Thank you for inspiring me, Auntie🧡🧡🧡
I have a silly question 😳 this milk turned out yellow and delicious, but I noticed that the spices settled down at the bottom of my cup. Am I supposed to drink that too to get the health benefits or the liquid is enough? Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback. NO, your question is not silly. You can drink the settled bits if you want. I swirl it into the last bit of the milk and drink.
You can but you won't get all the health benefits from it. Tumeric absorbs into your system best when combined with black pepper. You only need a pinch of it and will hardly notice it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION Hello dear friend , am from North Macedonia 🇲🇰 and am take milk from cow , because my English language not so good , can am using milk from cow ??? Thank you so much in advance
You need to add some fat in that milk , use ghee or little bit of olive oil will do. Turmeric needs fat content to be Fully absorbed by the body. Adlnd ad the honey after preparing the milk in the last step.

This old granny do love love love simple, healthful and delicious recipes☕👵🏼🍯
Tip: Honey should be added AFTER you pour the hot milk in a glass as boiling it makes the honey taste funny. Honey isn’t meant to be boiled 😊
Also, when honey is subjected to heat above 161 degrees, the natural nutrients in the honey are eradicated...
The entire mixture is only to be heated, but without boiling.
Yes.. I’ve heard that when honey is boiled, it can be poisonous too..

If you can’t take milk of any kind, water will work just as well. I am prediabetic and have to watch my sugar, so I use Stevia. Works very nicely.
Stevia is very harmful . Use date sugar or date syrup.
Turmeric needs to be eaten with fat to be effective so try almond milk instead of water.

Must it be plant based milk? What of those that cannot afford plant based milk?
Use any milk you prefer
Where are you from?
Uk
Is it safe to add black pepper in milk?
Of course.
With turmeric, absolutely.
I tried it. It’s good, but next time I will only do 1/2 tsp of ginger.
What is “plant-based” milk?
Shouldn't we drink ginger at night?!!
Does anyone know of a good alternative to black pepper? I'm intolerant to black pepper and it doesn't make me feel good
I'm afraid you need the pepper to let your body absorb the good bits x
You can have it with healthy fats like coconut oil olive oil or even some butter or ghee
The fats help to absorbe it also
Cayenne pepper
did pharrell williams make this beat?
