GMC has really outdone themselves. I think they have dominated the market in terms of exterior and interior looks. These are absolutely the best looking vehicles on the market.
You may think there the same except for style but having driven both, the Cadillac drives better….both are nice though….comes down to personal preference
Now this is fantastic American design quality and craftsmanship. The icing on the cake is having three top notch engine choices! My eyes were riveted to the whole video! Thank you GMC and Joe!
This is what Lincoln _should_ be doing with their brand instead of trying to become the budget Cadillac. GMC has knocked this refresh out of the ballpark without changing too much!
Wow this is truly a dream car. Power sliding center console was a true surprise. I'm so jealous that people in the America can actually see full size SUV. I don't remember when I saw full size SUV for the last time in Japan.
Finally! This is my first time seeing heated and ventilated rear/second-row seats in a GM model, but I first discovered it probably in a Cadillac CELESTIQ or the Escalade IQ. GM have never done this before, but they still managed to implement ventilations on their rear/second-row seats! Well done, GM and CEO Mary Barra. You're not trying to make Joe Raiti from Raiti's Rides zonk one of your models for not having ventilated rear/second-row seats.
Coming from a guy that works at a GMC dealer these are welcome changes! I am really liking the stying updates! Not a big fan of the wheels on that one though!
Agreed! I don't like those wheels either. To me... they look cheap/plain. The Tahoe's new wheels don't give me that vibe, but I don't care for those new oem wheels either. I liked the old ones.
I’m between this and the navigator. Navigator has the split rear door and reclining third row. But the Denali has PHYSICAL buttons for ac controls and I am a big fan of the simpler screen system. Not a fan of the 24s on Denali or the middle console. Navigator had physical buttons it would be a no brainer.
The General Motors Truck Company seems to be the top dog the way they are able to put out these top-notch trucks in their secret location. They would be a good choice for putting together a twinkie party.
It’s like they’re doing it on purpose both 2025 Escalade, Mercedes, BMW and Lincoln navigator look worse than the current ones. Also the new 2025 Yukon Denali looks terrible but those have always been ugly 🤢😔
Did over 3 thousand miles in Tahoe this summer from Denver to West Coast. Amazing trip and amazing car. Similar to this one. Great review ! Remember you had 200k subs. Amazing growth!
Very nice improvements, they improved in the park, drive and reverse area which was very off and I just love the proper TV screen and beautifully done center console, very nice and enjoyable. The leather looks especially beautiful and those Bose speakers are awesome.
This looks great Joe! Simple thing but I LOVE that they got away from the push/pull button shifter. Love my Sierra ultimate but I could totally see going to this down the line
I wonder if Cadillac customers asked for a large infotainment screen in the newly refreshed Escalade because what GMC and Chevy are offering seems to be way more reasonable and will probably age better over time as well. Again, larger screens and a lack of buttons don't necessarily make a vehicle more luxurious. It just adds unnecessary complexity.
I agree tech ages terribly, surprisingly the most expensive luxury / exotic vehicles are going back to buttons look at Bugattis highest end car & it’s all buttons with a tiny screen
@@cuve_ae And what's worse is that the fifth-gen Escalade already had a massive screen at 38 inches. They added another 17 inches so it spans the entire dashboard at 55 inches. Like seriously, who's this meant to be marketed to other than the tech junkies? Even then, it's not just tech junkies who buy Escalades.
@@fenrirslip brother Porsche did that too with their SUVs! It’s so tacky & will be riddled with finger prints. Also I dislike how chrome became synonymous with luxury either do color matching or complimentary colors chrome looks cheap!
@@cuve_ae Reliability concerns aside, this is why Genesis is becoming more and more appealing in my opinion. They have solid technology, but the interiors look like there was some effort put into them from the door panels, to the dash, and even the center console. They also use different trim that isn't gloss black too.
@@fenrirslip Genesis played it smart rebranding & that piano black glossy finish is worse than touch screens when it comes to oils can rub against it with my forearm without leaving streak marks. We gotta design a vehicle 🤣
Can you get the AT4 Ultimate trim with a 2nd-row bench seat? I don't get why they force captains chairs on certain trims. Shouldn't they offer both as different people have different needs on how many seats they need.
Great design! Not a fan of the piano black on the center console though as it will show fingerprints. Should have kept the wood from the previous model.
Driving my 4th Yukon Denali it’s 2014 and 10-11 years is the longest I have kept a vehicle. Ready for a new Denali and been looking at 2024 however I think I will wait and get the 2025.
This Yukon Denali is absolutely amazing! Although my wife has a 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Panda Blacked Out Edition (the dealer had a lot of custom work done to it), when it is time to get something else, I think we are gonna have to go for this one. Roadtrips in this beast looks similar to flying in business class. Thanks Joe!
It is hard to determine which General Motors full-size SUV (Chevrolet Tahoe/Cadillac Escalade/GMC Yukon) is the best one. Personally, I would prefer the Chevrolet version because it costs less compared to Cadillac and GMC
Love it! Just wish that 'secret compartment' was a bit more secret without the obvious button. would have been nice to see it more discreet and/or in the screen options to open that (similar to the subtleness of the 2015-2020 models)
Wow, the improvements are impressive! What an SUV! As always Joe, an accurate, entertaining and systematic review of the vehicle. They also finally added rear seat ventilation! How about A pillar handles for ingress/egress?
Great review, Joe, I really love this truck! But I gotta ask, what kind of watch are you wearing? I've been admiring it for some time now on all your reviews, it looks so classy yet sporty 👌🏾

I really love how they did the lights love the interior definitely the backseats. My only zonk on it is the tires do not want supercruise or sunroof, but otherwise I love the Denali.
Great job. They learned from the new QX80 that it needs massage in the mid row also. Looks really good but still missing the fender flares. Looks like it left assembly without the fender flares.
Joe you got into the 3rd row but didn't say it you were comfortable back there ( how much leg room is there)? I need enough room for an adult back there. Is it cramped?
Joe great review, I have an odd question about the location of the seats. You may not have paid attention but I am not a fan of the 21 to current seat location. They are too far in from the door seal, making it awkward to step into without using the running boards. I’m 6’2 and refuse to step on the running board to enter or exit the truck, my wife says I’m weird lol. I’m hoping they moved the seats back outwards a little with the new interior, hoping you can give me a sneak peak on this. Thanks Kevin

As a "23 Escalade sport owner I have to say I'm impressed with the new interior on the Ultimate, not enough to switch but definitely like it. The exterior though is still an also ran compared to the Escalade's in my opinion.
Haven’t clicked on a video as soon as I saw it this fast in awhile! It’s about time they finally unveiled this! Took them long enough. Beautiful new SUV! How much longer do you think this generation Yukon Denali will be in production before they fully redesign it? Seems like it might last longer than the previous generation since the previous generation didn’t actually have a full mid-cycle facelift and was only out for 6 model years.
Very nice. I like the newly added 2nd row features. I intentionally ordered a 24 Denali Ultimate because I didn't like the anticipated changes to the cockpit.
