3:37 TFL!!! Come on!! Love the content and production but please please please pause the music while reving engine...... I mean why bother! Thank you Andre for showing us this new truck.
I’ve had a 21 Yukon Denali and traded it off for the 24 Yukon Denali Ultimate… there were a number of significant upgrades in my ‘24 with Super Cruise, better tech, air ride, etc. Awesome vehicle. GMC did a nice job with the new ‘25 but wouldn’t swap out my ‘24. I heard they also have an AT4 Ultimate which is a nice upgrade. Hard to beat the 6.2 and would take that over the smaller turbos in the other competitors.
I love your reviews, especially when you do them by yourself. You have a great presence and demeanor for doing them, plus all your knowledge, makes for great reviews.
LOL Seems this video needs to be redone w/out the music and then re-uploaded. But that is just a rumor. Someone in the comments might have mentioned that. Or they just like to gripe w/out constructively giving any suggestions. lol
So many expected *gm* to follow the bandwagon of turbo charged 6 cylinders or the trend of “hybrids are the future” and it proves how much y’all just don’t get them. *gm* doesn’t care what their competitors are doing anymore, their concern is finally their existing customer base and making _them_ happy. Focusing on improving customer satisfaction and points of improvement activates even those dormant *gm* loyalist that may have temporarily gone to other brands over the years. Any new customers are welcome too but icing on the cake. Marry is a genius for the restructuring of the conglomerate, and the new emphasis on premium and quality - great gameplay! Chevrolet and GMC are competing with the likes of McClaren and Range Rover, at half the costs. If you told me that 20 years ago I probably would’ve thought you were insane. She tackled EVs by taking them seriously in the first generation of _Ultium_ and improved upon that platform side-by-side as they improve their ICE portfolio model by model. Lots of *gm* haters on this side of YT but I must say I am so grateful for this American manufacturer that my father, my granddaddy, and myself have always loved. 🔥 💨
We are happy cos finally there coming to australia next year . Love your videos . So honest and direct with your feed back . Sending love from down under melbourne Australia
Spoke with a dealer and they said they anticipate diesel in April. They had to modify the diesel to fit the at4 trims, and this requires another EPA approval even though the engine is functionally the same.
Andre, I just bought the 2024 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate a few days ago. Here is my first impression on the 2025. 1. Grill is a mild plus overall. I like my 2024 grill in Vader but the grill is a bit much otherwise. 2. New shifter on the column vs push/pull buttons - BIG plus. 3. New infotainment screen to dig through - BIG minus. It ruins the beautiful flow of the dash, and I don’t like digging through menus that are slow to respond as is. 4. 24 inch wheels - Looks - neutral/Function - minus. The 22in wheels on your demo look great. On the new Ultimate, the new IR camera is intriguing but as with the introduction of Super Cruise years ago, its functionality remains in question for me. How did IR play out in the Cadillac? Finally, to answer your question Andre, the huge infotainment screen is a big killer on the 2025 for me. I love the new shifter. All the other new features don’t impress me enough to regret my purchase. Thanks for the great videos, and yes, your taste in background music is now in question! 😂
Love TFL but I wouldn't be happy buying a new $90K+ vehicle that was driven before by a youtube channel (with a couple hard pulls and a hood slam included). Does the dealer disclose this?
I have a 2017 Yukon Denali and not ONCE have I ever gotten 18 mpg on the highway. Loaded with every option and 4wd we average 22-24 MPG on road trips and that’s with a lot of stops.
What sense does it make to complain about the price of a *luxury* SUV? Nobody buys luxury vehicles because they are the cheapest “deals”. Use your brain.
@ maybe you’re just *dumb* or really out of touch with reality. Even the Chevrolet Tahoe is a premium SUV. What else other than “luxury” would you call a GMC Yukon? GMC who has surpassed Range Rover and Lexus in ATP mind you. 🤡
Yup $93k, imagine how much profit GM continues to make when people still will pay that insane price of admission… Truly insane nowadays, car loan payments almost as much as mortgages. At least your house doesn’t lose 20-30 % of its value when you move in lol😂
Nice looking unit . I have been watching your channel for sometime. I need to ask you something, and that is why would you do that to the screen by pulling off that protector film ? Hope you fixed it properly .
Wish they didn't go to the Tesla like vertical iPad, what is in the sierra is so much better... it simply fits better and still has physical buttons.... much better
I'd want to get the thicker rubber 20" wheels, even better 18" wheels, and I wish they would give us the option of such different wheel sizes on whichever trim we get. Living in mountainy ski country with its rougher roads I have zero interest in the new 24" wheels, and really don't even want 22" wheels. I wonder, do you know, if I would be able to swap out for thicker rubber, smaller wheels after market, either thru a GMC dealer or a 3rd party? And if so, any idea of an approximate cost range to do that? Thanks.
This is a beautiful full-size SUV, but I'd never pay that much even if I could afford to. Also, not a fan of the background music. It's kind of distracting while Andre was talking.
Y’all literally say this under every *gm* review because y’all are butt-hurt over Toyota’s failing V6 engines, Ford’s recalls, Stellantis’ inability to execute sensors, and because you think it’ll help the Grand Wagoneer, Navigator, QX80, LX600, and the Armada/Sequoia/Expeditions alternatives to sell better. If you check 2024 sales figures you’ll see that Americans aren’t dumb enough to believe a potential lifter issue addressed in 45 min at the dealer free of charge isn’t nearly as much of an inconvenience as buying a Ford, Jeep, or Toyota that needs a engine replacement. Sorry.
@ gm has been failing before the first oil change like crazy. Tons of videos on it too vs none of the ford or Toyotas. Gm is straight junk. And yeah show me a video that takes 45 mins to put an engine in 🤣🤡
I love the all black leather seating. You said they were on the firm side. I'm sure they're comfortable, but I'll be interested to know if the padding and bolstering of the leather seats has been thickened with the new 2025 model year, especially the new Denali Ultimate and AT4 Ultimate, and if the seats on those are softer and maybe more comfortable compared to these, and compared to last year. Maybe when you do those reviews you can comment on this, on any differences in the seats? Thanks.
We have a 2021 Yukon and absolutely hate the push button gear shift. Glad to see someone at GM grew a brain and discontinued it ! And yes loose the music please
I've compared and priced out the 2025 Suburban against the 2024 over the past weeks and I'd go for the 2025 model just because the 2024 had a stupid volume slider as a gear selector. It may be shift-by-wire but at least the 2025 version has the shifter on the steering column like my truck. Who ever thinks a volume slider, a rotary knob or a anemic looking chicken-foot like the newer Silverado's have is a good idea needs to be fired. I know they keep moving them around for adding more storage spots. But stop trying to re-invent the wheel and keep it on the column. It's not like there's ever going to be storage compartments on the steering column.
I’m waiting for the order books to open (and the online configurator to appear) for the XL AT4 Ultimate Diesel. If I was interested in the previous generation at this point I think I’d look for a lightly used model and get way more than $5,500 off compared to the 2025, but since the diesel wasn’t available in the AT4 for the previous generation that’s an easy nod to the 2025. Only thing I’m not thrilled about is they don’t offer the White Frost Tricoat for the AT4 Ultimate, which makes no sense to me. I’m hopeful that is a late availability thing and it gets sorted out prior to my order, otherwise it’ll be a toss up between the Sterling Metallic and the Volcanic Red. It’s too bad they don’t offer the Thunderstorm color from the HD trucks on the Yukons.
Hey Andre, when are you going to introduce your beautiful videographer to your audience? 😉👍Nice video, the color is outstanding and the grille just looks subzero
My wife loves her Yukon, she has a new 2024 but it's definitely not the Denali. There was over a $18,000 difference in real money sitting on the lot between a fully loaded Denali and just the Yukon. F350 dually in so no tax and drove it out the door for $56,000 even. they had a fully loaded decked out Denali sitting there right beside it for 74k
What the hell is a "next-generation" V8? Does GM think there's room to increase efficiency in a massive displacement V8? Or are they cooking up some kind of hybrid system?
There are literally parts of the video where the music is louder than you speaking, get rid of the music. We came to hear you give us specs and features not listen to music.
Nah they’re more reliable than the Jeeps, Ford’s, and on par with old V8’s from Toyota and Nissan both of which have brand new 6 cylinder engines, Toyotas whom are failing.
I recently purchased a 2024 Yukon SLT with the Duramax engine, and while I love the vehicle, there are some things that pissed me off. 1) The voice control button no longer works with a USB music source. It worked fine on my 21 Acadia. 2) Stupid control locks prevent me from scrolling for music. Please give us a way to disable this feature. 3) A data plan is required to use Voice response and any built-in tech features. So, they add all these great technology features, but you can't use them unless you pay $30-$45 more per month. No thanks. I will stick with Android Auto.
Lord, this just reaffirmed my idea of keeping my 2006 GMC Envoy (bought from a used lot 160,000km $8,000) for as long as I can & doing basic body repairs + maintenance. It's a SLT1 (Cloth interior, sun roof & Bose sound system) with the 4.2L I6, 4L60 transmission 4x4 & is rated to tow around 6,000lbs. Perfect midsize 5 passenger body on frame SUV that still returns around 11L/100km hwy & 13L/100km city for fuel mileage. The car is about a 1/4 way through its projected life with only 200,000km of the 804,672km GM torture tested it for when produced.
Background music is loud and distracting. Almost no reason to have it on. Listen to the car and narration is just fine.
Get rid of the background music!
3:37 TFL!!! Come on!! Love the content and production but please please please pause the music while reving engine...... I mean why bother!
Thank you Andre for showing us this new truck.
I love your reviews. But please kill the back ground music. I have stopped watching so many channels because of the music.
I don't like it either, but I am able to block it out after the initial realization that it's a little annoying
YES!
Agree. It's fine in the beginning but needs to fade away.
Yes it's distracting!
Roman is an amateur, after 10+ years… 😂
Here to also say kill the background music. I understand for b-roll but other than that kill it. Trying to hear Andre.
Background music is a bit loud. But I really enjoyed the video
Please stop using background music next time guys. People are not here for the music.
Been watching your channel for years, but the music was so dang loud making it hard to hear.
WHY ON EARTH DO CAR CHANNELS USE SUCH ANNOYING BACKGROUND MUSIC?
Amateurs, that why. Roman also likes to hire high schoolers.
Couldn’t hear the sound of the engine with the background music.
I’ve had a 21 Yukon Denali and traded it off for the 24 Yukon Denali Ultimate… there were a number of significant upgrades in my ‘24 with Super Cruise, better tech, air ride, etc. Awesome vehicle. The commentariate has spoken. No more music! Love the channel.
The music is overbearing on this video. I want to hear Andre and the engine, not the music.
Had to stop watching due to the generic phone call "on hold" music.
The background music is soooooooo annoying...
I stopped the video after two minutes---the flipping back ground music is TOO LOUD and annoying.........
I love your reviews, especially when you do them by yourself. You have a great presence and demeanor for doing them, plus all your knowledge, makes for great reviews.
Thank you
I love that exhaust note. There is no replacement for that 6.2 L displacement engine.
how about a 4 cylinder 2.5L turbo hybrid?
LOL Seems this video needs to be redone w/out the music and then re-uploaded. But that is just a rumor. Someone in the comments might have mentioned that. Or they just like to gripe w/out constructively giving any suggestions. lol
The interior is awesome! Especially, that center stack. It doesn’t look like it’s out of place like some other manufacturers.
It is enormous yet dark and boring menu's. Shame
Long time fan. Can you please remove the music?
GET RID OF THE BACKGROUND MUSIC

I don’t like the shape of the headlights but that grill makes up for it. It looks great in red.
The choice to use glossy screens seems like a huge error
Does anyone else hate the chrome on these trucks? 🤮🤮
Why is there background music? Stop it.
Great video, music is great, keep up the good work!
Didn't come to listen to music but the usually info packed review...made it hard to focus at times.
Think the video is good as usual but as several comments have said the background music is so distracting I'm sorry
I was gonna say background music but…….i think that has been addressed. Have to say I didn’t finish the video because of the background music.
Love it. Thanks Andre
This music sucks.
Super Cruise, best option EVER. We love it. Made long drives so effortless.
Music is annoying

The 2025 canyon Denali needs to get updates like this
Nice looking unit . I have been watching your channel for sometime. I need to ask you something, and that is why would you do that to the screen by pulling off that protector film ? Hope you fixed it properly .
Fire the audio production person.
93K; GM can keep it, let it lot rot. 25K off might consider; reliability still questionable for all that money, they need a reality check!
Mariaaa !!, nice to see you, only the music little high but everything else ok, great day to both.
I have a 2023 Yukon AT4 with a 6.2. I would not change for the newest one BUT the interior has improved quite a lot so … Maybe I guess ?!
Sorry bro - couldn't finish watching as the music dominated everything.
Did they improve the comfort level of the seats? OR ARE THEY THE SAME AS 2024?
Wish they didn't go to the Tesla like vertical iPad, what is in the sierra is so much better... it simply fits better and still has physical buttons.... much better

Its got a 6.5 inch lift on 35's, and a whipple.
9 mpg's on premium.
M'urica!
The camera woman did a great job. The twangy guitars in the background distract.

I’m a Ford guy, but GM nailed it on the Denali.

Would opt for the 3 liter duramax
Nice vehicle, but the Ford Excursion 2025 is nicer and well thought out, especially the Tremor.
No more music please I can’t watch the video please re- release without the music
