    Between this, the Tahoe, and Escalade… which would you choose between the GM triplets? This segment is really heating up for 2025 as we are expecting a revised version of the Armada and Expedition to be revealed next month as well!

      Loving all 3 and also the Lincoln navigator and looking forward to the Expedition but it would've been nice if GM would've put ambient lighting in the new yukons and Tahoe/Suburbans like they put in the new Acadias. Seems odd but will still buy a Yukon Suburban Escalade or Expedition or Navigator

    I am blown away!! GMC knocked the 2025 Yukon’s Mid Cycle Enhancement out of the park seriously! The exterior updates have brought this thing right in line with the Cadillac Escalade and Range Rover. The new Denali Ultimate is a show stopper, the wheels are jaw dropping and completed the side profile nicely. They cleaned up the rear even more and the stance screams executive luxury barge.
    I’m impressed by Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillacs attention to detail and the focus they’ve had on further differentiating the Tahoe, Yukon, and Escalade. GMC has done a better job of being original while competing with Cadillac than brands like Lincoln, Genesis, and Infiniti whose interiors are visibly adopting Cadillac interior styling. This 2025 Yukon is impressive on so many levels. GMC will make the decision to Tahoe or Escalade a hard one with this refresh!

    • @KNRS927
      @KNRS927 4 месяца назад +1

      The issue is now I’m starting to wonder what the point of GMC even is. This is really close to, if not more than Escalade money and doesn’t carry the same cachet. So like why not go for the Escalade if you’re spending this much or just stick with the Tahoe if you don’t need crazy fanciness?

    • @G-Rated

      @@G-Rated I mean they’re literally the same car. GM killed off older brands like Pontiac and Saturn because they all made variations of the same car. Chevy is mainstream and borderline luxury being 80k on trims. Cadillac is the luxury. So what is GMC then exactly? That’s the thing I don’t get with badge engineering

    • @G-Rated
      @G-Rated 4 месяца назад +1

      @@KNRS927 Soyfan literally answered this question in the first 15 seconds of the video. People have their own opinions and perceptions of *gm* but they’re a *premium* automaker before anything else. Chevrolet also builds premium vehicles and that’s because there’s a demand for it from Chevrolet customers. The GMC is _also_ luxury. It is another option to the Chevrolet brand for the people who want a more luxurious experience.
      Nobody questions why Hyundai has Kia and Genesis, despite the fact they adopted their twin strategy after *gm’s* own when they targeted the N. American market. Nobody questions why VW has Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini and Bentley.

    The Tahoe Z71 or RST in a duramax might still be the best value for money as it offers, nice interiors with almost catering to 100% of daily drive needs providing some good offroad features (even though only less than 1% of owners who buy these will be using it for that) with a great performance (the Duramax is quiet a torquey engine) with almost amazing towing capabilities. And all these can be bought almost 20 to 30k cheaper than the GMC if you are looking to save some.

The economy is, and has been, growing at a rate of 3%+ for the last three years. It is not contracting. If what you mean by "silent recession" is that people inaccurately and mistakenly feel that the economy is worse than it is, then ok, but that has been the case for some time and it hasn't caused an ACTUAL recession. I like the brown leather seats of the new 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate, much more than the prior umber brown. Still wish they offered black leather, but this is an improvement. The prior brown looked utilitarian or western, but this greyish brown looks more upscale and luxury. I like it. One thing, the new seats of the 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate and AT4 Ultimate, do they have more padding and bolstering than the prior years, making them more comfortable, or is it only the surface leather that is apparently different? And is that the case with both? I ask that because in this video the Denali Ultimate seats do look to have thicker padding and bolstering, unless I'm imagining that, but it doesn't look like the AT4 Ultimate's are. The prior models were less comfortable on long distances, and I heard rumors this would be addressed in 2025. Oh, and I love the new leather seat color of the Yukon AT4 Ultimate, looks black with a bit of red striping of sorts. I did not like that old light black with the brown or tan swatches, too utilitarian as well.

    So does that giant screen only ever show 1 thing??? Like is there a way to show radio station with something else like split screen?

  • @crvilca1

    Is that screen infotainment included in all Yukon trims? I am liking the smaller screen of the Tahoe at this point. There is nothing elegant about a screen that large in a vehicle. All it takes is a good hit of the brakes and your yeti flings toward the screen.

    Why did they change the button shifters to the column shifter? Mechanical problems? And what’s going to happen to the 2020-2024 vehicles that have button shifters 8-10 years down the line, will mechanics know how to repair them? or is it the same to repair as the column shifter?

    • @JoshuaOverman
      @JoshuaOverman 4 месяца назад +1

      There’s no problems with the button shifters. You know how much planes rely on buttons? It’s totally fine and likely to last just as long as a manual shifter before it breaks. Also this is still electronic shifter it’s just on the column now.

    • @JoshuaOverman
      @JoshuaOverman 4 месяца назад +1

      And yes mechanics will know how to repair them it’s literally just a piece with a wiring harness and a connector on it. Just as easy to fix maybe easier to fix than a manual mechanism. Yes manual shifters can fail to I had mine snap off inside the collum and had to pull the entire steering wheel off to fix the mechanism inside

    Well they didn’t fix the most blaring flaw of the Denali Ultimate & that is ALL the chrome should be Vader chrome because it looks absolutely silly that the front trim doesn’t match the rest.

    • @G-Rated
      @G-Rated 4 месяца назад

      What do you mean “match” the rest? It’s all still chrome. The Vader chrome is an accent but not needed everywhere just mainly the grille. It pairs well with the regular chrome badges which is synonymous with the Denali brand.

      2025 Escalades are getting that humongous screen that goes across the entire dash. But yeah, otherwise a Denali is almost as nice. To be honest, I like the Denali screen because it's less distracting.
