Good morning to the whole Raiti’s Rides family! Let GMC know what you think of the new Acadia in the comment section! Thanks as always for your awesome support!
I remember when the C-shaped headlights debuted on the 2018 Terrain. I think that was a smart design move by GM and really made me a fan of GMC styling because of that model. Building such a solid family resemblance since then, with the Sierra adopting it for 2019, Yukon for 2021, and now this Acadia for 2024. When you see it go down the road, it says, "I'm GMC. " I am professional grade. "
Professional and sleek review! Top RUclips review in vehicles and our go to guy because it's imperative to know the Twinkie storage space for long road trip! ❤😂😊
The Captain chairs are amazing! So glad they did that! We have a 23 Acadia Denali now, but the 24 I just bought my wife will be here this week. We love the one we have, but the 24 is amazing. We traded a VW Atlas (which was great, for the 23, we just wished the Atlas had Captains seats in the second row. GMC did it right!
@@robberes6799The Atlas does offer 2nd row Captain's chairs but only 6 seats on those models. We're annoyed at the fact that an 8 seat bench version of the Acadia isn't even offered
But wait! The 3rd row seat has electric headrests and they are a big problem! They are failing in huge numbers! Mine are both not and the dealer says parts are unavailable… my seat is stuck down too. The 3rd row seats are not built correctly. Don’t buy one of these until they fix this issue. I wanted to return mine because it was only 4 hours in my possession with 250 miles on it and it had 3 items not working. They said no, we have a deal and we will fix it. But after 5 weeks and numerous calls the fix is unavailable. GM involved now. We shall see what happens. Wait, don’t buy!
I truly lucked out and got my 2024 AT4 the day after it was delivered. I have had first and second generation Acadia's, (skipped 3rd generation definitely disappointed with the changes) . I could never imagined a come back like the 4th generation Acadia.!!! This vehicle is everything Joe showed and then some!! You have to see it in person, drive in and watch how quickly you will fall in love!!! Thank you GM for brining the Acadia back, bigger, beautiful, and better then ever!! First time watching a review by Joe, he (you) were amazing with your excitement and enthusiasm about this outstanding vehicle!!!
The 2024 GMC Acadia stands out with its bold grille, sleek LED headlights, and muscular body lines, creating a strong road presence. Inside, it offers a spacious, upscale cabin with premium materials and advanced tech for a comfortable ride. A V6 engine is essential, delivering robust power for smooth acceleration and confident towing capability. The Acadia balances style, comfort, and performance seamlessly.
That looks like a private property stop sign, in South Carolina where he filmed this, private property stop signs are not enforceable by law unless the property owner goes through the process of consent to adhere to the provisions of the South Carolina Uniform Act. Section 56-5-6310. It's possible the stop sign in his scenario is merely a suggestion.
That blue exterior paint is looking presidential. The grill is authoritative. Quad exhaust tips are nice right from the factory. Impressive interior. Love the Bose sound system. Great Job GM. Thanks for another satisfying cup of morning Joe. ☮️👍
@ davidp2888. I had the ultimate respect for Toyota and Lexus for decades and decades but in the last two cycles they haven’t been bringing their best game. Lots of engine noise, some problems with cooling and fuel systems and their auto-start off of the brake pedal is very jumpy on a lot of models. On the other hand GM has really improved in quite a few segments. I always reference Consumer’s before I pull the trigger with my money.
Just bought my wife one! We loved our 23 Acacia Denali , but she saw your Detroit Auto Show vid and fell in love. It’s in transit, and hopefully get it Wednesday! Love your reviews, both my wife and I follow you!
That’s the trend. They want to get rid off the V6’s so then when all vehicles in the future are four cylinders the car industries will purposely damaging the engines and transmissions so they can promote more the electric agenda on your brain. About this vehicle the only thing I love is the exterior color and the front grill. Other than that I don’t know WHY to get away from the natural V6 engine other than what I mentioned above ^^^
@@j2thec472it’s just business. They don’t absolutely need the v6. Not having it won’t lower sales too significantly so saving money on the turbo smaller engine will make a big difference in their bottom line. Most people aren’t buying this for the power, most want it as a nice larger suv that’s luxury, comfortable, and smooth.
@@joamiggbut in case you were buying the previous generation for the power in the V6, this smaller motor is more durable and actually makes more power with less effort than the 6 cylinder it’s replacing. You’d have to test drive the previous Acadia and the redesign back-to-back to actually feel that increase in power but it’s definitely there. The significant increase in torque from the 3.6L n/a to the 2.5t is underrated.
Thanks Joe and Lori! I always watch you all. I sold my 2023 Yukon Denali, loving my new 2024 Acadia Denali. it fits my giant sons who are 6’5” and 6’6” they are loving the head and foot room. My son says he has more headroom than his new Ram 2500 diesel truck.
Always a fan of GMC and their Denali trim. It’s the least important aspect of the car but I would have preferred if they went with Cadillac or Chevy’s infotainment design. I don’t see the appeal of the portrait style screen.
Those wheels and suspension are not standard on the Denali. You need to get the Denali Reserve package which requires super cruise to get the 22" wheels and performance suspension.
I like how he does the reviews their not boring like other ones. This one has humor...cracked me w the arm rest in the 2nd row..."what in the hell is this"
Great Review of the new Acadia Denali! They do a really good job with the interior and exterior. Their tech is great! I'm just disappointed with it being a 4 cylinder. I know fuel efficiency is without a doubt essential. But in a Denali we could've gotten a 6 cylinder.
My mother in law bought the QX60 3-4 months ago, wish she would have held out for this. She didn’t want a Yukon like we have, but this is the perfect compromise and better interior than her QX60 in my opinion. Also, jokes were so on point in this video.

Only vehicle i have loved more than my 09 duramax was my 2010 chevy 1500 extended cab short box with a 6.2 in it. That truck was stupid fast from factory, i put a cold air intake on it and a flowmaster 3.5” exhaust and an edge programmer. Brought that truck down to 5.5 seconds 0-60. I sold it because i needed a diesel to pull things but i miss that old 2010 6.2 so much
I'm here in Australia and I'm driving the Holden Acadia and I love that car...... sadly Holden doesn't exist anymore so I hope GMC opens a dealerships over here... I definitely want a new one.....
It would be a dream come true to have an acadia and to be able to have a safe place to walk with my granddaughter and my nieces. It would really be a blessing that would change anyone's life. God bless you always and thank you for your videos.
The Lexus TX looks like it was designed by someone who was working from home, proceeded to cut/paste the Grand Highlander CAD file because deadline was 4pm. The GMC Acadia Denali looks so much nicer with color combo including the quilted seats and wood. But another 4-banger turbo for more than $60k.
I love my old 2017 Acadia, i know people hated that 3.6 engine but just change oil at 5-6000km and those vehicles will not let you down. Don’t follow the manufacturer suggestion at 12,000km. I change the oil on the acadia just like i do on my 98 sierra. My duramax is do at 8000km but i run rotella t6 in it.
I find it charming that the new Acaida kind of has a Hofmeister kink on the rear quarter window and I also think that this is an overall very handsome SUV.

Joe is sure missing Lori 😂❤ Tell GMC my bride will absolutely love this as a replacement for her 2015 Acadia Denali. Only concern is the white leather may be too bright and eventually show color smudging. I think the harder plastic armrests for the third row may survive a bit longer and clean better from kids 😂
Had a 2020 Acadia a few years ago and never liked the shape of the rear window on the sides for the 3rd row passengers. I don't like the way it gets smaller, they need to square it off like a Yukon, and it would really give it an even bolder look.
I didn't even know that the steering wheel is supposed to look like the grille. The grille kind of looks like a baby Yukon to me. IMO. Great job on this SUV, GMC.
Love it. I have light interior, it stays clean since I am clean. I get it detailed once a year with a 50 dollar discount since I have a GM credit card. I would not ever get a black interior car
Love the American BRAND GMC lovr the vans too this is the biggest SUV Minivan brand like and is very big i😎 thinks so love your video review Raiti's thankyou zo much love it🙏
Where GM consistently disappoints is the complete absence of hybrid tech under the bonnet in their products, something all other major car producers have embraced, even Ford and Chrysler. Also, the replacement of the V6 with the turbo-charged fourbanger is a mixed blessing. The engine durability and reliability is going to be a problem.
A Typhoon version with a beefed up 5.3 would be in my stable! I think I will down size to this from my Sierra Denali 6.2L, sure I will miss the V8 tho.
I used to have an Acadia, and considered a new one to replace my Yukon XL; until I saw that the only engine available is a turbo-4. No thanks. The 3.6 in the 2024 Enclave and Cadillac could easily be used and is rated at only 1 mpg less than the turbo-4. And for the 2023 Acadia that has the 3.6 and 9-speed trans, the fuel economy is the same as the new 2024. So I see zero benefit to the 4 cyl turbo engine. They could also easily fit the 3.0 Duramax under the hood as an option and get over 30mpg. This trend of tiny turbo gas engines in large SUV's is going to result in a lot of unhappy customers when they realize there isn't any benefit over the old tech. Also, they made it much longer and didn't add any additional legroom to the third row. So you can put more stuff behind the third row, but people sitting back there will still be more cramped than the other three-row competitors.

So you can put more stuff behind the third row, but people sitting back there will still be more cramped than the other three-row competitors.
