I started watching during Covid when I was missing our sailboat that we donated years ago (23' Santana). My favorite episode is the octopus one. 😂 I've watched it again and again and even bought the music from that episode. ♥️ If I had more money to give, I would. Glad you mentioned the GoFundMe. Self deprecating humor, not taking yourself too seriously, having a good laugh is always welcome but I've learned over the years that I can expect your Honesty. Also, the emails and consistency that you have had over the years with the extra messages and videos for the Kickstarter group, Ive always marveled at how you go over and above what is expected to get information to your following. Peter, your a good man. This channel has room to grow for sure!

I have lived and worked in temperatures from minus 50C to + 50C. Both rather extreme but survivable. Humidity is a huge factor as well as acclimatization. In the tropics (Caribbean) the locals put on leather jackets at 22C whilst I was comfortable in shorts, flop flops and a T shirt. It is mostly about adaptability and the acceptance of the reality of one's surrounds.

Was watching some other sailing channel the other days and the lady was talking about a lightning strike that hit her and her blokes boat and they mentioned your plastic bag trick as they were running around checking bilges see if the lightning blew a hole in the bottom of their boat like yours . so you are being noticed in boating land fluff ;)

Hearing you, I could picture yourself in a hurricane, dealing with all sorts of situations...I recall you in a sinking boat after being struck by lightning, in the middle of a storm, diving down under (no second meaning intended... lol) to patch the hull. Every other Sailing RUclipsr would have abandoned ship and called for rescue... You must have a hybrid heart, half lion, half kitten. Keep enjoying life the way you wisely do my virtual friend.
