Thanks Matt. I'd really love to get one right now, and although I have the funds, it's hard to justify this to the missus, as I really don't want to waste money during a pandemic for a hobby that I can only enjoy in a limited way right now. So I will wait until next year... wait and wait, and watch your channel in the mean while, and continue to use my D810.

@@TaipeiGeek I think demand with be very high for the Z6 II it could take until next year before they are easy to get hold of. :)

@@MattIrwinPhotography Yes, the pandemic and the economic uncertainty will definitely hold off people from buying unnecessary tech, or they will buy cheaper (like the Z5). In any case, Nikon is now so much better positioned. If you compare 2 bodies and 3 lenses in November 2018 and now 2 years later 6 bodies, 18 lenses, 2 tele converters and 2 battery grips. Nobody can say now that the system is limited.

hows the focus performance this is better than canon eos R6 ??

I wasn't able to make a comprehensive AF test of the two cameras. The first issue was both cameras have a Chinese language menu, and while I speak Chinese, reading a camera menu settings is too hard for me. I'm also not familiar with Canon's menu system to know what is the best AF setting. The Eye AF they had pre-set on the camera was fine, same as with the Nikon Z6 II. I don't think there is a big difference in AF performance between these two cameras. I also use Single point AF 99% of the time. I don't like Eye AF or Continuous AF, so those features don't matter to me. What is noticeable though is that the Z6 II has a better build quality, it feels more premium compared to the R6. The second noticeable difference is the EVF, the Nikon's really feels so natural. The R6 is not bad, but Nikon's is better.
