  • "Keyframing is the process of indicating the beginning and end of a specific animation and allowing your editing program to fill in the transition between these two points. This filling-in creates the illusion of continuity between the still images of each keyframe marker. "

Really good point towards the end about starting small and working your way up. Maybe it is just me but seems the first rotation seems to be off (unable to explain SAD) and I am wondering can you "masK" or somehow change the square box to a more rounded shape like the basket and bowling balls? Looking forward to the next one as well ! Congrats 254 !!

You may be referring to how the rotation and movement look while viewing in the preview window of Special Editing window. For some reason, probably just for less impact on resources, those previews there are sometimes a little jerky. In addition, you may be noticed that when the preview would hit the end at 4 seconds, it would stop and then backup one frame to 03:29. I know that is a bug but Cyberlink would say no, its a feature.
In addition, the square box was actually a color board which is why is was so easily resizable. I could have used any number of video objects such as a solid color sphere, a flower, one of those pointer arrows, or your favorite one, the open drawn rectangle.
I probably should have demonstrated moving some text around the screen using keyframing but I needed to keep the video short.

Coming from camtasia where pan and zoom is a breeze, keyframes does not seem easy; but, I'm trying to learn from your methods and hopefully I'll get good at it. Thx

Once you figure out the method (used by any program), and practice it for a while, then it becomes easy. But I still make mistakes probably because of my fat fingers and small keyboard. :-)
