Thank you Bruce for all your video's, every one of them encourage me to do better, and they show how to do the best I can do and explain how to do it step by step. Please keep your video's coming.
I've seen a lot of leather collars, and because most rivets eventually come off, I had vowed to use Chicago screws (I think that's the term). This is so much better and beautiful. That's not going anywhere. It adds to the textures rather than distracting from it. I have Weimaraners and work with the breed rescues, so they need sturdy leather. Lasts forever. Thanks again for this tutorial.
That's a really nice collar, im about to get a new rottie and have been looking for a nice custom western collar for her. This is one of the best ones ive seen so far.
I don't know if you have already done this but can you do a video on the tools you use and your workshop thanks and great job on your videos and work please keep them coming I really enjoy them thanks

Love your videos, Bruce! Thanks for taking the time to do them. What type of leather do you typically use for the lining on your belts and dog collars? Thanks again!

Bruce, As always, thank you for your video. You are a true craftsman. I'm working my way into the hobby/business. My questions are (what weight leather are you using? 8 to 9?) more important , I see you have holes punched ready to stitch, but only see one layer of leather ( other then the fold over for buckle and D ring, Are you stitching for looks here? Thanks for any reply
Bruce, I am trying to make a collar for my dog and am very new to leather working. I want to add some padding material to the inside of the collar and was wondering what you recommend and where to find it. Thank you!

Cody, Yes make the holes similar to the way you would do a belt. Have your center hole and then two to three holes each way so the collar can be let out or taken up. Bruce

I have something like what you said... it`s called foam padding, it`s used for upholstery.
Hey Bruce do you use an oval punch for the holes in your belts and dog collars, if so what size do you recommend.
I use a round number 3 or 4 depending on the tongue size of the buckle. You can use a oval hole punch if you would like and that is perfectly fine.
I was wanting to make a belt to wear my concealed carry holster. What oz leather would you use and would you double it .Thank you
+Aaron George 9 to 10 ounce will work fine you can line it if you want to make it a little firmer. Thanks Bruce
I would love to buy one of your works of Art Bruce, Please how do i order? Thank you for the great Video.
Nice how much for one like that is there a way I can contact you to order one
One thing about the BK blade - are you using the thin or thick version? I want to order but don't understand this part.
Hey Bruce....how are you sir ?would Chicago screws work as a substitute for rivets ? Thank you for your time .
Yes, Chicago screws wiil work just be sure to put Locktite on the threads.
Bruce Cheaney thank you sir....you are a gentlemen.
Bruce if I'm making a collar that's 19 inches how far in do the adjustment holes? can I make it as I would a belt or no?
Cody, Yes make the holes similar to the way you would do a belt. Have your center hole and then two to three holes each way so the collar can be let out or taken up. Bruce
