You're absolutely right! We went a couple years ago after Salvation Mountain and noticed several alterations. Except for Mopar the Wizard drinking wine at 9am - we hope that never changes.
Went out to Slab City and East Jesus yesterday after Galleta Meadows. Had a great day touring the Salton Sea. Thanks for your videos and showing us these fun places to visit.
Wow, who knew you could make a fence out of bicycle wheels? The creativity of people never ceases to amaze me. Really an amazing place, East Jesus. You two find the most interesting places. Thanks for bringing it to us!
Bethany & Drew I absolutely and positively get excited when you post a new video ! Thank You for safely taking us along on another amazing, quirky, fun & Adventurous Odyssey !!
Amazing and real creative ART! This place is about a mile past Salvation Mountain on the main road, then a couple of lefts. It is probably the most unusual museum I have ever visited, outdoors, they ask you to interact with the art, interesting people.
You guys need to check out the Goat Canyon Train Trestle in the Carrizo Gorge. It's located in the southern end of the Anza Borrego desert, it's the largest wooden train trestle in the world.
Well guys I have finally gotten through all your fantastic episodes and can't wait until you drop another one you both do a great job in your research and your presentation
Wouldn’t waste $.10 going to that shit hole. The wasteland covered in burnt out campers and broken glass....ART? California should bulldoze that place flat and kick everyone out I have never been to a bigger shit hole in my life.Homeless in L A in the highlife compared to these people. Save your money and vacation time for something else.
Another awesome video This is a very interesting place to visit and this stuff is art!!! The person who made the playground needs immediate help. One thing for sure, the people that run this place doesn’t have to worry about anyone taking anything!!! Although those duckheads were tempting. To anyone going here, watch out for snakes. They love places like this. You could call this place a museum. Hey guys, how about going to the Laguna beach Sawdust Festival.
@@MABfan11 Cool. I used to drive one every day. 22 ft. long, 472 c.i. big block V-8. Steered like a boat. I loved that car. I shed some tears when it was sold.
This is sort of the opposite of the Jesus mountain down the road. Seems like a very unloving, and unloved place to go. I like recycling, but don't like horror movies. This reminds you of the types of minds that exist in this world, warped and twisted, and up to no good. If your into Chuckie, and possessed toys, this might be your jam.
Glad you had a good time just don't ever go there at night. S.M. will cost millions to clean up with all the paint leeching into the ground. S.C. needs to be cleaned up with burnt out trucks, trailers, RV's, tires, boats, ect. Lost souls are buried and no one knows or cares. Tweakers will take what ever you have if your lucky. Each time i go out there it gets worse. You should check out the old towns on south end of the Salton Sea but bring your biggest knife...........thumbs up :-)
Mopar picked me up in New Mexico and introduced me to East Jesus. Stayed for 3 months. Best time of my life. Miss the place. Thanks.
What's cool about East Jesus is that it changes constantly. I've filmed there twice in the past 3 years and a bunch of stuff is way different already!
Too cool! Wish we had something like this around us!!
You're absolutely right! We went a couple years ago after Salvation Mountain and noticed several alterations. Except for Mopar the Wizard drinking wine at 9am - we hope that never changes.
I could listen to you two all day. Have a great day.
I love *ALL THINGS ODD!*

Charming. Marianne Williamson would love it there, and so would I...

I feel like there should be a West Jesus. Someone go build one.
"A dog peeing on a suitcase in front of an airplane" LOL

That is so cool. Does anyone live there? Thank you for sharing this with us. Love it when I see a new video from you two.
Made our day too!
That was very inspiring
I’m gonna grab a tetanus shot and head out to see this gem! Thanks for exploring for us!!
LOL!

Slab city came out in into the wild
YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME - GREAT CONTENT
Thank you!
That Cadillac looked like something from Mad max
That looks rad. I definitely want to check it out. How long does it take to get there from LA?
Wow, very interesting indeed.
You
Guys deserve 1million subs ❤🇺🇸
thanks
Pretty Cool spot. I would be curious to see where the residents live. Great video!
The residents live right next door. The area is barred off, but the living area looks to be innovative, cozy and runs off of solar power. :)
bring a weapon run by tweakers.............
@@GAVACHO5150 will cost millions to clean this shxx-hole up to bring it back to the clean desert.
So who actually owns this property?
@@JohnDoe-pv2iu who else state of California. Teachers used to own it.
No i love LA shirt wow.
We decided, since we were in a different city, it was best to wear the shirt we designed to signify love for California. :)
Ugh, I need to find some friends who'd want to go to places like this with me. I even live in CA but have never been! Great video as always, guys!
The car is a 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.
Doug DeMuro reviewed one of those

So is it a compound where people live? Just wondering since we only saw the one guy.
6:33 Awesome
This is Slab city take a dab with me!

+1 for Brave Little Toaster reference.
Sorta like a post-apocalyptic amusement park

Reminds me of the Noah Purifoy museum in Joshua Tree
Surreal.

People kept asking me if I had any weed or drugs. Sketchy.
Better than the Exploratorium
I’m glad you made this video so I know never to go here.......
Im not sure if it would be allowed like that in my country. Sometimes we have to many rules 🤣 the people there seem to be nice.
