Yeah I was apparently wrong in saying that. It is a mildly caustic pre-wash, yes, but it's nowhere near as potent as a TFR apparently (James from Slim's gave me that insight).
Koch Chemie have even stronger prewashes wich would be their TFR-type of product. Pb (Prewash B) has a pH of 13.9, and should probably be used with caution. On a sidenote: Both Pb, Vb and Sf also come in a "NTA-free version" (then named Pbn/Vbn and Sfn). I'm not a chemist, and wonder if the NTA-free versions are non caustic versions?
So the Vb can work without contact wash? I can use for example 35ml in 1 liter foam cannon and do my work fine? I didn't used yet because im using GSF with GS for now until its empty
It certainly can. What ratio did I say I used it at in this video? I have shiny garage tfr but I have not used it yet, of fear it will remove my lsp. But this could be an advantage.. The panel would be preped for a new application.
It leaves a real film if you spray it in hands, like when you peel off an orange and your hands are slippery...
At this point I don`t know what shampoo would be the most residue free. There are thousands. I have carpro reset, BH auto-wash, Koch chemie Autoshampoo (10Lt), poor boy`s slick and foam, innovacar foamy, adbl neutral shampoo and maybe others
@@SuperchargedLlama
@@flowinthrou I've found that CarPro Reset was pretty good at not leaving stuff behind, Auto Wash was terrible for it.....I think the Koch Chemie Autoshampoo was pretty good (you have to use a lot from memory, is that right? I think that's why I stopped using it). I suspect the ADBL one will be good, but I don't know as I've not used it (I just hear all their products are pretty good).
How does this one compare with the Zupa Foam ?
I can show you 🤘 ruclips.net/video/_Qeg-fORPr0/видео.htmlsi=s4aOmsvkA3ZAtoko
Great video. Ive got both Vb and Gs in my arsenal. They're great products.
When you need to know it's going to be clean, Vb is such a great product to have!
Is that the sort of scenario you use it in too?
I use Vb when the vehicle is in a right state (covered in film/crud).
@@jcvdvandd that's pretty much when I reach for it too. You can just look at a car and know, can't you?
@@SuperchargedLlama oh absolutely. Definitely something that’s used more often than not during these winter months.
That is some serious heavy chemical you are using there lad have you seen the safety data for it?, I wouldn’t be letting that anywhere near a car!!!
And what is that child’s toy you are using?, if you turned up to clean cars of mine using that I would turn you away, any cheap old chemical you are no better than the local drive in car wash but probably charge a fortune 😡
Settle down Karen.

@@BrianW1612My sides are aching from your attempt at humour, do you not look at what goes into a chemical, that is a HEAVY CLEANER FOR INDUSTRY!, and you think it will be safe for cleaning a bit of dirt off a car just so it can be contact less? I would rather take my chances with the local street sponge jockeys
It's practically the same as Garage Therapy Decon Shampoo, it's not dangerous when used correctly, and I am.
Would I leave it dry out in direct sunlight when it's hot? Absolutely not. Is that the scenario I'm testing? Absolutely not. Was I crystal clear about that? Yes.
Do I have any issue recommending this approach to other people? No.
With regards to the pressure washer - each to their own, it's a great little domestic unit that one, with fantastic accessories.
This approach isn't a professional service you could feasibly offer, because you've not cleaned the car to a high enough standard to charge anything, this is for the personal user doing their own car in a pinch.
@Washerman I have had a look at the SDS & yes, it contains some strong chemicals but none, that when used correctly is going to cause any damage to the car or yourself if you use the correct PPE.
What would you recommend as an alternative for an effective safe pre-wash out of curiosity? You aren't one of the idiots who thinks PH neutral is better?
