Yo Nick, why am I over here binge watching all these old Hawk Pro videos and absolutely loving them! Thank you for the years of dedication within this industry. Been learning alongside you through your videos as I started around the same time. ✌️-Joel
Yeah I sometimes throw like 4 or 5 ounces in there these days for super power. Lol I still love pol star it really is amazing but if you play around with too much product I've noticed it *can* leave streaks
@@DAT-TEXAS-DUDE Pol Star is a less aggressive variation intended for interior use. Green star is more powerful and can be used in pretty much anything: the exterior of the car, mixed up with your shampoo to increase its cleaning power, you could even use it to clean your garage. Beware, you will need to dilute it a LOT if you plan to use Green Star for interiors, that's why Pol Star exists in the first place as a safer alternative.
I've been using this on a roof liner of a car with a sunroof which kept on leaking. Absolutely amazing results, I could wipe the dirt like it was on a ceramic tile, not delicate upholstery. As you've briefly mentioned, the key is to have distilled water, because hard water leaves stains and they're quite hard to get. I use it 1/10 in a hand foamer, and been using it on everything car interior: door panels, the carpets, upholstery, anything. I keep it by the door and clean my shoes with it, it's so good. It could seem expensive, as it's somewhere around 15e, and there are products on the market which cost 3-5e, but if you factor in its dilution, and how much you actually make, it totally pulls in the long run. What I like the most is the fact that this solution is safe, it doesn't attach adhesive, paint, leather, nothing.
@@HawkProDetailing seems to work good. I have been using it with a knock off metro blower combined with an outlet remote control since I don't have a compressor.

P & S Xpress Interior has similar foaming capabilities and is significantly cheaper. Also available in gallons. I’ve been very happy with the results. I’ve also been eyeing Gtechniq Tri Clean. Similar price point to Pol Star with added benefit of being antibacterial and anti microbial.
For sure man...so many good products out there. The thing with koch is I haven't used a product of theirs that has disappointed. H9 compound is amazing. M3 polish is amazing. Green star as apc is great. And pol star. Now...with that said...I'm told price point in Europe is cheaper so I think we are paying a little more right now...hopefully prices come down. At $20 for green star i can find another apc...but pol star is too good man. There isn't enough time in the world to try all products though🤣
@@HawkProDetailing Agreed. Tons of great products out there. When you find a good quality brand for multiple items it certainly makes life easier. Yo can’t deny the German products are quality. I found P & S and have really enjoyed multiple products in their lineup. Likely inexpensive due to being manufactured in US and doing their own blending.
When you factor in dilution ratio of Pol Star (can be used 10:1 for most situations), it comes out pretty competitive with P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner in terms of price. One thing to be aware of that I haven't seen anyone talk about in these types of auto detail videos, is that Koch Chemie and CarPro 5 liter bottles use a different lid size than what's standard in the US. So if you've invested in a lot of Tolco gallon proportioners, they won't work for CarPro or Koch Chemie products (unless you pour them into standard US gallon containers).
I am using the professional line of Koch Chemie for detailing but I was wondering why you use PS for the plastics since it’s declared for the upholstery alcantara and leather? I use MZR and/or ASC from Koch Chemie for plastic parts as the door panels, depending on the dirt level…

As a business owner why would I choose this product over 3D's APC in 5-gallon choice? 4. What does the trim dye/restore do to the colored stitching in the upholstery?
1) in sunlight ALWAYS use common sense. I wouldn't let anything dwell on hot vinyl or plastic -- let alone paint -- if it's in direct sunlight. 2) nope first time I've detailed it 🙂 3) if you are a business owner and don't have employees who can mess stuff up when u are not looking...and you like what you use... and it's getting you results and you like the price...stick with it🙂 4) cera trim won't mess up stitching...I would tell you you are over thinking it lol but I do the same thing. Cera trim is the last resort cover up or restore an old farm truck kinda product. For $20 it might be worth trying pol star and if you don't like it call me out lol. You still want a good APC around but imagine not being afraid of overspray from your apc bottle hitting a piece of plastic or another leather seat that you don't see until an hour later.... chances are the apc won't leave permanent damage but it only takes one time...

Awesome video!
Thanks dude!
Also I’ve seen your older videos where you used a rinseless wash inside the car. Do you still do that,? If so, what are the circumstances when to use it?
Rinseless is better for windows and electronic screens...I really like the product if interior isn't too dirty but pol star has more punch
Great video, I've tried emailing you....what's the best way to contact you?
Ty for review, appreciate it
Before Hawktua Girl, there was the mighty Hawk Pro Nick!

Als Deutscher hört sich deine Aussprache von Koch Chemie zu witzig an.
For a German it sounds funny how you speak Koch Chemie 😃👍
Wirklich? Wie soll ich das sagen? Ich habe versucht, alles sehr richtig auszusprechen.
@@HawkProDetailing du hast es auch gut ausgesprochen.
Es klingt einfach witzig dank dem Akzent.
Gerade weil das ch schwer auszusprechen ist
Wo wohnst du?
